American Girl Truly Me 18-inch Doll #110 with Blue Eyes, Blonde Hair w/Highlights, Light Skin, T-shirt Dress, For Ages 6+

I live near an American Girl store and realized recently that all the dolls I found prettiest were the ones with this “Nanea” face mold, which this girl has and I think looks even prettier in person than in photos. This doll is gorgeous and well made. Her eye painting really adds to her features, and I love the blend of natural and fantasy colored hair. The eyes do seem to fit a little looser in the sockets so the edges are a bit more visible than in other molds, but it doesn’t really bother me - just took some getting used to. The shoes and underwear are great. I am very underwhelmed by the dress, which is essentially a long T-shirt and not particularly attractive on her, but I got her on a great sale and have a lot of other outfits at home to dress her in, so that wasn’t really a consideration. I am an adult collector and she’s the first new doll I bought for myself and took out of the box to play with since I was a kid. The rainbow hair is great because you never know how the colors are going to show. It’s long enough to play with and the curl is pretty but manageable. This hair would mess up quickly for a younger child. I would probably just braid it up and tell them not to do too much with it or buy a doll with shorter, straighter hair. For an older child, it should be fine and lots of fun to style. I included several photos of her in different styles and a closeup to give an idea how she looks in other outfits. I have her five stars, but that’s for the doll and not the outfit. I would probably give the outfit about two stars and the shoes four, but there are so many great clothes available for this size I don’t think that matters much. If colored hair is your thing, she’s a great doll to have. (I am glad AG decided to start making interesting colored wigs, because I find the thickness and quality of their wigs a lot nicer than replacement wigs.)

I’m very happy with my Truly me American girl doll. I named her Bella. She has a Joss face mold which is my favorite of the American girl dolls. Amazon shipped her faster than ordering from American girl dolls.

I am so pleased with is doll. She's lovely. Her hair is just spectacular. The mix of colors and the length and curls. She has pretty eyes too and a nice mold. The only thing I will say is that the t-shirt dress she comes in is so ugly. She really deserves something better. So if you're going to give her as a gift include something nice for her to change into.

I purchased this doll for my 7 year old for Christmas. Upon opening the package, it os apparent that it is a quality doll. It is very durable and the arms and legs move smoothly. Her hair is thick and easy to style. It appears to resist tangling better than other dolls we have. This all being said, I would definitely purchase another American Girl Doll, but would try to wait for a sale. The quality is good, but the price is very high for the product.

Articulation-wise, arms and legs move smoothly, she stands with minimal effort, and she’s sturdy. Like, “survive-a-weekend-at-grandma’s” sturdy. And don’t get me started on the accessories… I caught myself eyeing the kitchen set like it was a new Home Depot drop. What We Loved: High-quality materials: Feels heirloom-grade, not just playroom filler Hair is salon-worthy and easy to manage (yes, I’ve learned doll detangling tricks…) Clothing actually fits well and looks on-trend without being over-the-top Peighton instantly connected with her—called her “mini me” before I could even say anything What Could Be Better: The accessories cost real human money. Like, why does a pretend dog bed cost more than my real one? Would love a “dad survival guide” for how to style doll hair without panic-Googling at 11pm

The price was great, daughter loves it. It’s a real American doll it’s not a fake.

Very authentic

This doll had to come a long way (from USA to Australia) so I was a bit concerned that it would be squashed during transit. She was well packed and arrived in excellent condition. While visiting the USA I had an opportunity to visit an American Girl store. I bought presents for other people and then afterwards regretted not buying something for myself. I didn't get the opportunity to go to another American Girl store before flying home. American Girl dolls are not available in Australia, so it was good to see I could get one on Amazon with free postage. The doll is gorgeous - exactly like the photo.

Very pleased with this doll. I wasn't sure about the colours in her hair but really love it. Her hair is super long and she has lovely hazel eyes. Good quality and very happy with this purchase.
