Perfect for rugby - I had ACL surgery last year, and although now back to full fitness post rehab, the mental security of strapping my knee up is still there! Id messed about with zinc oxide, EAB and other tapes, but frankly they dont work. Kinesiology tape does in my opinion, however you pay the price for a better product. Id been told to always go for Mueller, as the main brand for this kind of tape, but due to its price, I took a punt on Master of Muscle. Im glad i did. For me, its more harder wearing than Mueller, and is less likely to tear on critical point under the stress of repetitive movement. The adhesive qualities also seem stronger, with it not once coming lose during the games i've played. That said, its not hurt that badly to take off post game, so its doing everything I want. Review: Great for supporting arthritic knees! - My review has nothing to do with using Beast tape for sports - I have very severe arthritis in one knee and years ago a physiotherapist recommended I try taping it, and gave me some very sticky stuff which I tried a few times, but it moved and left a horrible residue on my skin. After a few years and my arthritis becoming progessively worse and my mobility very poor I decided to see what else was on the market. I was most pleasantly surprised after trying this tape - I find one piece, carefully stretched and stuck, gives support as good as a cheap brace, and it stays on for days, even when showering. Obviously my condition will not get better and my mobility and walking distance is still very poor, but it is better than without the tape and I can really feel its support and feel more confident than when walking without it. I used it for my shoulder when I went climbing and one strip tore. But using more support would stop this from happening. I also wouldn't leave it on overnight as I got a rash from it.
