Easy to use and remove - no mess, no stress!
As someone who gets a regular hollywood wax at the salon I found myself in a bit of a pickle what with the current lockdown. I took to looking for something I could try doing myself at home and came across this Persian cold wax. I was immediately attracted to it because it's a natural washable sugar wax formula and as someone who has very little experience of DIY waxing this appealed (i've read lots of horror stories of people attempting home waxing and ending up with wax in all of the wrong places and unable to remove it!). Once it arrived I took my time reading the instructions and popped it in the microwave for 30-40 secs until the consistency looked about right (not too runny but goes on the skin smoothly). Starting at the outer edge of my bikini line and working my way in, I used the wooden spatula to apply the wax in small, thin lines in the direction of hair growth, and then using the cotton strips to pull back in the opposite direction as close to the skin as possible. I emphasise: START SMALL. Unless you're a seasoned pro you may as well play it safe and minimise the likelihood of pain/messing it up. With this technique I managed to do a pretty good job of things and didn't need to go over any spots. The further in you go the harder it gets due to the tricky angles of the hair growth so I haven't gone further than a french/extended bikini wax for now, but it's a vast improvement and a good start! As I stated, the massive bonus with this product is that it washes off easily with warm water. And you can wash and reuse the cottons strips and spatulas, so good for the environment too! I don't normally write reviews but I am honestly really impressed with this product. Can't wait to try it on my underarms and legs next! Great value for money as well. FYI I have relatively dark, coarse-ish hair but like I said I wax regularly so the root is probably not so strong. Not sure what result you'd get if you've previously shaved.

Best at-home hair removal method!
This wax is the best at-home method I have used for hair removal! It is easy to use, almost painless and removed every single hair on my legs. I struggled a little bit to reach the backs of my thighs but the product itself is very good. It comes with a wooden spatula (quite small) and fabric sheets that can be washed and re-used. I heated the wax in the microwave for about 20 seconds to get the right consistency. Also, it is really important to apply a very thin layer in the direction of hair growth, push down firmly also in the direction of hair growth and then pull the skin tight and pull AGAINST the direction of hair growth. I exfoliated my legs beforehand with hot water to make sure the hair follicles opened up and the hair-removal was less painful. If the wax does not work for you, it might be because your method is wrong or hair is too short, but for me, it worked really well.

Good quality wax! Better than veet
PROS: - This is a good quality wax. I used it for my inner thighs and bikini line and it left my skin very smooth - I was surprised at how relatively painless it was to wax my inner thighs with this. It has a good grip on the hairs and waxes about 95% of the area (which is really good compared to other waxing products) - it’s pretty easy to remove from your skin and doesn’t leave you in a sticky mess. CONS: - I have sensitive skin and this wax left me with red blotches on one side of my bikini line, but this might me down to my method - the stretch is awful, personally I feel like spreading the wax on my skin physically hurt more than the actual pulling off the wax, when spreading it on your skin it’s literally pulling your hairs and it hurts like hell lol, but this might be down to me not warming up the pot enough. I did about 15 seconds in the microwave - the waxing strips are supposed to be reusable but I had a difficult time trying to wash them so I had to throw them away. There aren’t any instructions on the best way to clean them, and the hairs are obviously stuck to the wax which makes it difficult to clean Tips: if you’re waxing your downstairs area, I highly suggest trimming there first. Waxing long hairs is so so painful!! Another tip is to stretch your skin when applying the wax particularly in your bikini line area because the wax will stick to other areas and make it extremely painful lol I think this is product is great considering the price. I would definitely use it again, I’d give it 4/5 stars because most of the cons are likely down to my error lol. With waxing the more you do it the easier it becomes

***How to use this cold wax to minimise costs and maximise effectiveness**** TIPS & TRICKS!!
I don't often leave reviews but every time I wax myself with this, I'm so amazed by it so the urge to share this with you guys was always on my "to do" list. 1 - Make sure the wax is soft. I pop it in the microwave for maybe 10 seconds but every microwave is different so keep an eye on the consistency. Should feel like thick honey. 2 - Keep a hairdryer next to you plugged in and heat up the wax when it starts to set - this avoids you having to get up and rush to the microwave naked with wax strips stuck to your body! 3 - Apply a *thick* layer on the hair in the SAME direction of the hair growth. Place a strip over the wax, rub the strip with your hands a few times to help it stick even more, then pull real quick in the OPPOSITE direction of the hair growth. *Applying a thick layer of wax enables you to reuse the same strip on other parts of the hairy body until it can't stick no more. This saved loads of money - and time!! 4 - Have a bowl of cold water and a mini face towel to dip into the water and wipe away the residue wax. Comes off after a few scrubs like magic! 5 - Once you're all done, place the used wax strips in a bowl of hot water and let it rest for 10 minutes, and watch how easy it'll be to wash all the hairy wax off. It's amazing!! 6 - I then dab baby powder over my skin and go over the little bits of missed hair with my epilator pain-free. * I haven't had to buy any new strips since purchased the cold wax a year ago. * I have thick middle-eastern hair and the wax is strong enough * I wax my lady-parts after trimming the hair a little because if it's too long, you'll need to wax the same area more than once because the wax wouldn't be able to cover every long strand - which hurts, so make sure the hair is maximum 1cm I'd say. I do a Hollywood wax with this with no problems. Sometimes my skin bleeds depending on where I am on my menstrual cycle as it makes the skin super sensitive - but this is normal, and heals real quick. Hope I've helped you ladies!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!

The best thing about this wax is that it is easily ...
It's ok! The best thing about this wax is that it is easily removable. Very easily and does not really irritate my skin like other wax. Apart from that....what can I say? It is a mess.....having to warm it up, be careful to warm it to the right temperature, take it with me and hold it in warm water all the time because it solidifies back quickly, spreading wax, using sheets....ahh...wax everywhere! So...yes, very messy but if you have enough patience with it then the result is quite good.

Works a treat
I'm sick of shaving my legs due to the irritation it causes and had allowed my leg hairs to get quite unruly. I was looking for an alternative to get me through the summer months and set about researching different methods. I'd never heard of sugar paste before and its all natural ingredients really appealed to me. On searching Amazon I found two brands that seemed to fit the bill and decided to try this one due to the good reviews it had received. It arrived promptly the next day and I enlisted my husband to assist me with the process. We had to heat the wax slightly to make it easier to apply and it couldn't be any easier to use. It removed the hairs with ease and wasn't all that painful. I did chicken out this time though to doing my bikini line - maybe next time - I'm sure it'll get them out! The strips easily wash out for re-use and any spillage are easily cleaned up with water. It did leave my legs a bit blotchy afterwards but I rinsed them with plain water and they settled down within a couple of hours. All in all I would recommend this product.

Don't waste your money. Awful!
Awful wax. Ive been waxing for many years and this is one of the worst ive wasted my money on. Ive persevered with it for a while now and its not got any better. Ive binned it today as its unusable. The wax just doesnt harden so stays a gloopy consistency so when you pull it off the wax comes off on the strip but leaves the hair behind. The area i use wax on is really small and hasn't got a heavy coverage and this couldn't even remove the sparce hair. Id give it 0 stars but amazon make you put 1 on for review. Rubbish.

Works!
I’ve always got a tub of this in the cupboard. I’ve tried other named brands that do the purpose but this literally wipes off with water. I go through phases of doing my own Hollywood wax and paying at the salon but the costs is getting higher. I work from home so I usually do this on my lunch hour and don’t need to nip out to the salon. I can do my own within about 45 minutes- yes it’s a struggle in some positions but I’m getting quicker and quicker and learnt the best positions for myself to get a decent wax! I used to wash the strips but I’m going to just buy some extra to save even more time but that’s just lazy as you don’t need to. I use it warmed up as I personally don’t have any skills using cold wax it it feels like it would hurt more? As it’s cooling I use a little bit on my face, feet , stomach and thighs. Practice makes perfect with this. Remember to treat any ingrown hairs. Try it.

Highly recommend
Highly recommend this product. It arrived a little squashed with some damage to the box but the container abs contents are mostly fine. The product itself is really excellent.

Pleasantly Surprised
I had low expectations buying this because of the mixed reviews and only went with this over other products because it had the fastest shipping, BUT I am so happy I did! I have gotten professional sugaring in the past but have never done it on my own. I microwaved the mix for about 30 seconds and it stayed soft enough my entire session (about an hour). It was a little too soft and sticky to just use my hands so I used the sticks and strips it came with and that worked really well. I waxed my bikini line which has semi course hair and it had no trouble gripping the hair. I tried a couple different techniques and found that working with small areas, spreading the mix against hair growth, and pulling with hair growth worked best (the directions instruct the opposite). It didn't work on my legs but I think my hair needed to be longer. Overall very happy! If you've never waxed (or sugared), take your time figuring out how it grips, and know it's a little messy. It washes off easy, doesn't burn your skin and it goes a long way. My extremely sensitive skin looks great!
