Gives a lot of heat out and it doesn't get hot on top or around it just blows out from the underneath. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice stove but could do better! *by S***K on 4 February 2026* This little electric stove does look lovely, ( flame effect is comforting and quite realistic ) and the option of 1kw or 2 kw fan heater is efficient and on both options throws out a lot of heat. Three things are a little annoying…. The cable is only 5’ long despite the description stating the cable was longer (so I had to buy an extension lead ). Although I purchased the Courchevel stove in white, the cable is black ( which, as not many people have black skirting boards but most people have white skirting boards seems a serious oversight. Not much point having a good ‘flame effect’ to make it look like a real wood burning stove and then having a black cable highlighting that the stove is electric. ( So the option was to have the stove rewired with a white cable or to purchase white ‘cable cover’. I did the latter. The final niggle is that the stove has a very obvious Dimplex ( another give away that it’s electric) silver coloured label on the front of the door but the door knob is a rather tacky gold coloured, a white metal knob would, I think, look smarter.
