Superb with Remarkable 2! Highly Recommended!
This Staedtler Norris Jumbo pencil is a fantastic stylus for the Remarkable 2. The pencil looks like a jumbo HB pencil in it's design which is not only quirky but super stylish! Writing and drawing with this pencil is a pleasure, paper like texture and feel, smooth and crisp lines. The writing angle is also superb - i had a different brand of pencil which did not work with my angle of writing, however this Norris pencil works just fine with my steep angle. The built in eraser function also works very well - just flip the pencil and use the built in eraser tool to 'rub out' any mistakes you have made. Pencil shading is excellent, again, very good angle for light pressure work. The weight feels a tad light, but it is great too hold and the triangular design provides a comfortable grip. If you have a Remarkable 2 then i can not recommend this product enough - order one you honestly will not regret it!

Perfect for my needs
I took a long time deciding whether or not to buy a Remarkable 2. One of the things putting me off was the cost of the "official" pencil, which seemed excessively expensive, especially considering the device is useless without one. After a lot of research, I discovered a large number of other unofficial pencils would do the job. Further research highlighted the Noris Digital Jumbo as being something of a fan favourite. I took the plunge on the Remarkable 2 and at the same time ordered the Noris. I've nothing to compare it with, but I can say it's an absolute delight to use. It's a little chunkier than a lot I have seen, but I find it easier to hold being the size it is. It's a little light, but for me, it has just the right weight in the hand when writing. I also love the "quirky" styling - I get lots of positive comments about it when I'm using it when out and about. Add to that the eraser functionality - just flip the pencil over and use the fake "eraser" - and I can really recommend this product. Looks good, works exceedingly well, is fun and tremendous value, especially compared to the official products.

Works brilliantly, but eraser is easily lost.
The is a great product, provided you can kep hold of the eraser section at the end. This works really well on my Onyx Booknote, and it's a huge advantage having an eraser at the end that works without having to change settings as you work (just turn around and erase anything you just wrote onscreen.) However, the glue that holds the eraser section on isn't good. I replaced my previous one of these because I lost the eraser, and now, a week or so after taking deliver of this replacement, the eraser section has come loose again, so it looks like that's a design or manufacturing flaw. Hopefully the No More Nails I used will keep it in place, because £40+ is a lot of money to replace an eraser!

My favourite EMR stylus with digital erase - works great with Onyx Boox Note Air 2
The classic traditional pencil design and look of this EMR stylus is what sets it off from others. It's a little thicker than many other pen stylus but feels extremely comfortable and natural in the hand. It does appear to be made of wood and weighs about 10g. On the tip you have a standard EMR nib which writes extremely smoothly on my Onyx Book Note Air 2 e-paper screen, it's like using a soft pencil! You also get 5 spare nibs and a removal tool in the pack, but after nearly 2 years of regular use I am still using the original nib. On the opposite end of the pencil is medium firm rubber feeling digital eraser. This works brilliantly with my Onyx tablet, you simply flip the pencil in your hand to erase from the page - no buttons needed. The pencil does not require any batteries or charging. The triangular design of the body helps it from rolling off smooth surfaces. Staedtler also do a thinner, more standard pencil sized stylus but that one does not have the digital eraser feature. Overall this is definitely my favourite stylus for writing, and I have a few! The jumbo feels natural and comfortable in the hand and the digital eraser is a time saver (instead of having to keep selecting the erase feature on the tablet). It also feels just like a natural pencil eraser when rubbing on the screen. Important: Make sure you check compatability before buying an EMR stylus. This will NOT work on an iPad, your tablet must use EMR type styli.

Lovely bit of kit for any office
Brilliant bit of kit to replace the original Samsung Galaxy Tab active 5 pen. This is the second EMR pen I have ordered as the first one was so good I wanted one for work and one for home use, if you manage to grab this while on a deal you're in for a great score! Simple to use and durable, this pencil simulates the real weight of the counterpart pencil, great buy and great value for money compared to the Samsung counterpart. This also works with Supernote devices which is a god send, be aware the tips will wear down much faster due to the screen protector on the supernote.

Works better than the original Remarkable 2 stylus, and has a really nice feel
I had used the ReMarkable2 for a couple of years, with the standard stylus, and was generally happy with it. Then the stylus, which attaches magnetically, got lost in transit somewhere. I went to order a new stylus from ReMarkable and was shocked by the price (£119), especially when they then added £19 "for delivery in 2-7 days". After much searching on Amazon and looking at various cheap styluses with mixed reviews, and none of them were magnetic like the original stylus, I almost gave up and almost bought the "real" stylus. Just before I did, I started looking at covers too, they were also expensive. So I looked on Amazon, and I found this cover. As it happens, it had a comprehensive recent review by someone called "Curious George" of this OLAIKE "Compatible with Remarkable 2" cover where the review said amongst other things that "The Jumbo Noris Pencil slips in and out easily after a bit of use.". I had been considering the Jumbo Noris stylus but it was more expensive than most of the other styluses, and I was unsure whether the Staedtler brand really had any relevance to styluses. But all in, the OLAIKE case and Jumbo Noris pencil were going to cost £76 including next day delivery from Amazon. So I thought it was worth the risk. Thank you to whoever Curious George is for that review. I have to say the combination is brilliant. The STAEDTLER Noris Jumbo pencil is better than the original ReMarkable stylus, it writes really nicely, has a nice feel to it, and the eraser works well. All for £40. It fits the pen holder of the OLAIKE case perfectly. And the case holds the ReMarkable really well and feels like a really good quality cover. The two together have reinvigorated my usage of the ReMarkable - whereas ReMarkable's own price for either a stylus or cover almost consigned the device to the shelves along with old iPads etc. I highly recommend the combination.

Great handling pen which works well on the Supernote Nomad
This EMR pen has a great feel, kinda chunky but with the triangular shape that the Lamy AL-Star also has and is rightly famous for. I'm using this on my Supernote Nomad and like most 3rd party pens it's not quite as sensitive as the Supernote HOM2 but that's not a big deal, just takes a little getting used to. The EMR eraser end works fine on the Supernote although I prefer pens (like the Lamy AL-Star) which have a button to use the Lasso erase. This is a cool looking pen which feels great, works just fine and I'm really happy with it.

Great for traditional artists, sensory issues. However is overpriced for the overall function.
Brilliant product. I have sensory issues and using a wood stylus is absolutely amazing, the texture isn’t overwhelming, it’s weighted perfectly. Styluses tend to be too light or draw too smooth to get a real sensation of drawing, the stylus has a good amount of smoothness vs friction against the screen to be able to draw accurately as you would a pencil on paper. As an artist who is used to traditional materials, it’s probably the best piece of tech I own. Works flawlessly with my Galaxy Tab for digital art, weighted perfectly, works smoothly. Pretty much impeccable response between stylus and the tablet. Prefer it over the “smart” stylus that came with the tablet, as for me all of the buttons and functions are far too overwhelming. Simple and minimalist, does what you need it to do, no accidental clicking of buttons which would otherwise ruin your drawing/work. Nice and minimalist but does what is says on the tin. The nostalgia factor as well is brilliant, I had an awful habit in school of biting the end of my pencils when I was trying to think, and it’s weirdly enough come back ever since I bought this. I think that just kinda speaks to how accurate this is to the OG pencil. My ONLY issue with it, is that it snapped very easily in two when it rolled off of my desk. Very easy fix with a bit of superglue as the place it snapped was entirely wood, slightly past the internal mechanics. Bit sad about that but very easily fixed. Would have liked it to be sturdier for the price point. I think it is a bit overpriced for how minimalist the actual stylus is, purely because it doesn’t come with any other functions than as a basic stylus (no eraser tool etc.) and the fragility of it. I think the price point is based off of the design and nostalgia of it.
