I bought these a few months ago but it took me a little longer to attempt it. I shouldn't have worried; these colour gels make it a fairly easy cake to make. They are easy to mix in the batter and give beautifully brights rainbow colours. The result was nothing short of stunning and I'm not much of a baker. On a slightly serious note, there is firm evidence to suggest that artificial food colouring are quite harmful, in particular to children.
