Tape Black 11m - Heavy Duty Duct Tape, Hand-Tearable & Extra Strong

Why did you choose this product over others?: As a self-proclaimed DIY enthusiast and general fixer-upper, I've used my fair share of tapes, and let me tell you, Gorilla Tape Black 32m is in a league of its own. This isn't just "duct tape" – it's a heavy-duty, problem-solving, can't-live-without-it essential. From the moment you unroll it, you can feel the quality. The double-thick adhesive is no joke; it grips like nothing else, even on those awkward, uneven, or slightly rough surfaces where other tapes just give up. I've used it for everything from patching up a leaky shed roof to securing cables, reinforcing tools, and even making temporary repairs on outdoor gear. It handles it all with incredible tenacity. What truly sets it apart for me is its all-weather resilience. Living in the UK, we know all too well that the elements can be brutal. This tape shrugs off rain, wind, and even prolonged dampness without losing its incredible stick. I've had repairs hold strong through torrential downpours where lesser tapes would have peeled away within hours. The 32-metre length is also a massive bonus. You get a serious amount of tape, meaning you're not constantly running out mid-project. It's surprisingly easy to tear neatly by hand too, despite its robust nature, which saves time and fumbling for scissors. Honestly, if you need a tape that you can truly rely on for almost any repair, indoors or out, the Gorilla Tape Black 32m is worth every penny. It's a proper workhorse that delivers on its promises and then some. I wouldn't be without a roll in my toolkit now!

I'm going to give this product five stars because it absolutely does what it says it does, and it does it very well. It's extremely strong, extremely long, extremely sticky tape. Having said that, I have had a lot of negative experiences with this tape. This is largely through my own fault so I won't lower the rating, but be aware that this tape is incredibly sticky and strong. I mean, the most sticky and strong tape you could possibly imagine. No, stronger and sticker than that. If it sticks to itself, it's not coming apart ever. If it sticks to your hair, your hair is absolutely leaving your body. If it sticks to a pet, you're about to be very unpopular. Be very careful where you apply this tape. Think before putting it anywhere you don't want tape to be because once it's there, it'll stay there and won't be leaving on its own. Although... don't try and use this tape with wet hands. If the glue gets the tiniest bit wet before use, it's not sticky at all. I mean, not even a little bit. It's quite bizarre but given its amazing water resistance once stuck, it's surprising how un-waterproof it is before application. So, water before use = useless tape. Water after use = no hope of removing it.

I use this tape for EVERYTHING and I mean everything. If you need something stuck down permanently, this is your best friend. The adhesive is insanely strong, it grips like crazy and once it’s on, it’s ON. I’ve used this for all kinds of things, even stuff you wouldn’t think of. Need to stick an extension lead under a desk? Done. Need a sleek black sign? I literally wrapped cardboard in this tape to create a smooth matte black look. I even use it to stick up posters (WARNING—it WILL rip your paint off so be careful with that one). It’s so versatile and durable and this particular roll is HUGE. When I first got a smaller roll I ran out quicker than expected so I upgraded to this and it’s definitely worth the price. It lasts forever and I’ve barely made a dent in it. ✔️ Pros • Super strong adhesive sticks like crazy • Massive roll lasts ages • Versatile - works on everything from DIY to quick fixes • Great value for the price ❌ Cons • Will rip paint off walls if not careful • Stickiness can be annoying but that’s the whole point • Loses some grip if left exposed to air too long This tape is a must have for DIY quick fixes and creative projects. Whether you need reinforcement or a strong hold, this gets the job done. Would I recommend it? 100%

A marvellous device, a Zimmer frame it stands, Granting movement to those whose weary legs demand, A bulwark against the earth's relentless embrace, Preventing the tumble, the fall from grace. Yet gaze upon the price that shadows near, The carpets, once proud, now torn and austere, Their once velvet threads marred by steadfast weight, Scuffed by cruel steel, they linger in fate. The tiles, marred by the burden of my burdened tread, Once bright with hope, now long for repose instead. They bear witness to a life, shattered and unkind, Silent in their yearning for wheels that never find. And thus we resort to tape, that sticky friend, Applied with resignation, a desperate mend, A reminder most grim that life has grown worn, That vitality fades like the break of morn. Yet this humble tape, unlike others before, Clings steadfast and true to whatever floor, With a shell that resists both moisture and sun, A weather-resistant guardian, second to none. Beneath its surface lies reinforcement deep, A backing of strength that its promise will keep, Offering toughness that cannot be swayed, A testament to the care that has been made. Upon its very skin, a double-thick paste, An adhesive that clings without haste, To surfaces rough or to surfaces plain, A bond so enduring, it banishes strain. This marvel exists that we might employ: To fix what is fractured, to mend and restore, To patch what is torn and to seal every door, To hold what may slip on the smoothest of floors, To protect what requires a sheltering place, To repair every breach, every fracture and trace, To reinforce what grows weak and uncertain, A legend unspoken, beyond any curtain. So acknowledge this strength and this steadfast design, For in this simple thing, countless virtues align.

For projects and home repairs, I am always on the lookout for tough, reliable products, and Gorilla Tape certainly fits the bill. Gorilla Tape, although more expensive and in a lesser length than those from well-known building merchants, I feel in my use and experience, it does a better and more reliable job. From the moment I unrolled the tape, I could tell it was different. The adhesive is incredibly strong—I've used it on everything from securing loose wires to patching up outdoor gear, and it has held exceptionally well in all conditions. The bond is impressively durable, and I appreciate that it works on various surfaces, including wood, metal, and plastic, and can support more weight than other brands. Whilst the cleanliness it offers in clearing residue away is better than others. One of the standout features for me is its weather resistance. I recently used it to fix a few items on my patio, and even after a few heavy rainstorms, the tape has held up perfectly! It’s great to know that I can rely on it for both indoor and outdoor projects without worrying about peeling or deterioration. The black color is a stylish touch as well, disappearing into my projects seamlessly rather than standing out like traditional duct tape. Plus, the tape itself is easy to tear and cut, making it user-friendly for quick fixes. Overall, Gorilla Tape has become my go-to adhesive for all kinds of repairs. If you’re looking for a reliable, heavy-duty tape that gets the job done, look no further. Highly recommend!
