Natural Retinol Serum 0.25% – With Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamins C & E, Aloe Vera, and Jojoba Oil – Targets Fine Lines, Wrinkles & Uneven Tone – Fast-Absorbing, Vegan & Organic, 30 mL

I bought this product to replace a more pricier serum which didn't seem to be making enough of a difference. I've got very sensitive skin and was quite worried about the comments around retinol and that it can irritate skin, especially when you first start using it. I have used this serum for about a month now, applying it only at night (I'm very pale and burn easily and was worried about the increased sun sensitivity retinol can cause too) and the results have been great. I saw changes within about 10 days, my skin was much more balanced, not as oily on the t-zone and no dryness. I also usually have at least one or two spots and these have completely cleared up - for the first time in about 10 years I have a clear face! I am very pleased with the results of this, and it's the only change I've made to my skin care routine. The serum itself is very light, it is almost watery so I did question what it was going to do, however this also meant it fits really well into my existing skin care routine, and doesn't feel heavy on the skin, absorbing really well. I've not yet noticed a reduction in the fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead, but I believe this takes a little longer to show anyway. Overall, for the price I'm extremely happy, but I'd pay three times as much and still use this product!

Been using this for about 6 weeks now and am seeing a real difference. I used to have a load of colourless bumps on my forehead which have all but disappeared. I'm pretty prone to breakouts around my chin too. I got a lot of breakouts at first but they're getting less and less as time goes on. Retinol is supposed to speed up the cell regeneration of your skin so it makes all the spots under your skin that you don't even know are there yet come out to the surface, so if you break out after usuing it it's working. Also, I noticed that spots disappear a lot quicker than usual sometimes I'd have used it before bed on a spot that's just appeared and it would be gone by the time I wake up. It's got a liquid like consistency which spreads really well on the skin. I received some really nice emails from the customer support people once I purchased it with directions for use and a follow up too to see if the product was working well for me. I have really sensitive skin but I didn't have any adverse reactions to using it. So I didn't break out in any places I wouldn't normally break out. I will say that the skin around my eyes felt a bit tender for a while when I started use, but after a few weeks of my skin adjusting it's fine and there have been no negative side effects from this. I would make sure to use a lot of moisturiser after using this product as retinol can dry out your skin so you'll need it to minimise the dryness and peeling. Also, I has helped in my never ending quest to get rid of the blackeads on my nose. It seems to pull all of the dirt from the skin to the surface so for a while it looks like your skin is getting worse but then your pores clear up once all the dirt and oil is pulled out. They've gotten to a stage now where I can barely notice them at all. Like any product to work properly I would use it as part of a daily routine and not just alone as no product can really work alone! But this one is really good and does exactly what a retinol product should do providing you put in the effort of keeping to the usage routine and give it a fair shot for at least a few weeks/months as it won't work in just a day.

I was dubious as to if this would work or not but thought it was worth try! I'm in my late 30s and have started getting pretty big crows feet around the corners of my eyes when I smile. I've used this pretty consistently at bed time for the last 6 weeks and have actually noticed a difference. It obviously isn't a miracle so the wrinkles are still there but they have definitely diminished in depth. I have sensitive skin and for the first couple of weeks this stung slightly, but wasn't too uncomfortable and I soon got used to it; apart from that I didn't have any adverse reaction to it. I haven't noticed much difference in the size of my pores or the fine lines at the side of my mouth but overall I'm happy with the difference it has made to my eyes. Based on my use so far, I'd estimate that a single bottle will last around 8 weeks which is pretty decent value for money.

This product really is excellent value for money. As some reviewers have said, it's not the strength of a prescription retinol product, but if you want a prescription anti-ageing product then you'll have to pay for a private dermatology consultation and a private prescription, so clearly you wouldn't expect to get a prescription-only product for this price. This serum does, however, compare well to pharmacy-brand and high street retinol serums in terms of effective, and is about half the price of most of them. As with any retinol, you would have to use it diligently and for a couple of months before you see noticeable results: retinol and vitamin C aren't really ingredients that work overnight so you'll have to be patient. As you'd expect from the packaging and price, this is a no-frills product. It's not scented or coloured, and it's a very thin, liquid formula - which is actually ideal for absorption but doesn't have the luxurious slippery feel of a beauty counter product. It comes in a plain bottle with a pharmacy dropper and is an unappealing yellowish-grey colour with a slightly medical smell. That said, it disappears very rapidly into the skin which for me makes it perfect for following up with a night cream or facial oil. I have oily-ish skin and have used retinols before, and I've never experienced any irritation from them. I have, however, experienced painful tingling and redness from other products with the same vitamin C content, and yet I got absolutely no irritation from this product. I've been using it every night for a couple of months and I'm impressed with its efficacy. The addition of hyaluronic acid makes it surprisingly plumping and hydrating given that it's not actually marketed as a hydrating product and my fine lines are definitely being kept at bay in the same way that they were by my previous retinols which were double the price. (If it's relevant/useful to know: my night-time skincare routine is hot cloth cleanser, glycolic acid toner and this serum, followed by Clarin's lotus oil for combination skin and in the morning I use a hot-cloth cleanser, a L'Oreal anti-ageing serum without retinol and an Olay Regenerist moisturiser with SPF30. I don't use retinol or glycolic acid during the day and I would swap my day moisturiser for a proper sunscreen in summer - sun protection is advised if you're a retinol user.)

The serum is fine - I'm just not sure of the strength of the ingredients - especially the Vit C content. I can't comment on Retinol as I haven't used it before. I didn;t notice vast changes but it did seem to give a slightly brighter complexion. I find a lower %Vit C product from Kehils works better (12.5%), which leads me to believe that either the 20% Vit C content isn't accurate or, if it is, it's not very stable and as a result less effective. At that price I guess it's an ok buy. I't ain't a miracle product and I could take it or leave it.

Very much love this product! I have suffered all my life with sensitive, oily, large pores and red rosey cheeks, but not the rosey red cute look. I use this after a cleanse and a toner, spot cream. I apply a small amount ‘ maybe a marble worth’ on the palm of my hand. I then rub it on my hands and Immediately apply to my whole face.. avoiding around my eyes. Then I follow up with a moisturiser once it’s dry. Which it does dry near enough straight away. I can honestly say after two weeks using it, ‘ again with a good routine in place the improvement in my skin it unbelievable. I have spent so long researching, YouTubing, reading all reviews on how to improve the texture, pores and in general look of my skin and I think this product has worked wonders on mine. I’ve always been really lazy with my skin routine, baby wiped, left make up on my face .. so this was a long needed thing. And I’m 100% sticking to this as part of my skin routine. I feel I can leave the house without make up on, and feel confident my skin won’t suddenly turn red and look all puffy and gross.

This is the ONLY serum I will buy from now on and the ONLY SERUM I THINK YOU SHOULD BE BUYING LADIES! (And I have tried over a dozen different types of serums, including Korean / Japanese etc, I’ll mention I’m Oriental btw). If you want to look at yourself in the mirror (after application in the morning, which is when I use it) and have a healthy / youthful looking complexion etc then look no further. The serum itself has a slight unusual smell right at the start of application, but once it’s smoothed over the skin it is very quick to absorb, no smell and does not leave any residue or stickiness. Which is perfect as ladies as we know there are a few more layers we need to add before we head out in the morning! :) Michelle one of the owners was very quick to reply to a query I had (thank you Michelle, great customer service!) Part of her reply to my question was ‘Our products are all vegan and we use the plant based version of ingredients if they are available. This serum contains less than .75% synthetic ingredients’. In such a competitive market this is impressive! Ladies all you have to do is check out their list of ingredients. You won’t find better than this, I’ve looked!! In all my researching too ladies you must remember that the skin cell renewal is approx 30 days give or take.. this is why it’s recommended to keep using the product. And also be sure to cleanse and exfoliate properly to get maximum use from the product. I haven't been using this product quite as religiously as I intended but it seems a good product. The scent is not very pleasant but that is of course down to personal taste. The cream is absorbed nicely into the skin without leaving an oily residue, and leaves the skin feeling soft to the touch. I cannot state that I have seen a significant difference in the appearance of fine wrinkles but there is some improvement in the skin around my lips which appears a little more plumped than usual. I imagine that continued daily use would probably achieve better results than I have seen so far, but I am generally pleased with this product and will purchase it again.

Finito il primo flacone non l'ho riacquistato subito,pensando il miglioramento fosse dovuto ad altri fattori. Ebbene, la mia pelle è tornata come prima nel giro di un paio di settimane. Per la mia esperienza quindi posso dire che è un ottimo siero. Nota aggiuntiva: dopo aver acquistato il secondo flacone, ho notato una sostanziale differenza nella texture e nel colore del prodotto. Mentre prima era lattiginoso e molto liquido, ora è giallo e più denso. Dopo aver contattato il venditore per chiedere info a riguardo, mi è stato risposto rapidamente ed esaustivamente. Condivido qui la risposta visto che altri hanno notato la differenza: "Abbiamo modificato la formula riducendo l'olio di jojoba e aggiungendo al suo posto dell'olio di cocco. Si tratta di una migliore miscela di oli che dovrebbe fornire un'idratazione più equilibrata. Il cambiamento di colore è dovuto alla riduzione dell'olio di jojoba. L'olio di jojoba conferisce ai sieri un colore bianco perché si dissolve in milioni di minuscole bolle bianche quando viene miscelato nella formula. Quando abbiamo ridotto la concentrazione di olio di jojoba, le bolle che causavano il colore bianco e lattiginoso sono state eliminate. Ora si scopre il vero colore del siero, che è giallo perché il retinolo è un colore giallo brillante."

Deze serum beleeft veel want er zitten ingrediënten in, die bestemd zijn om je huid te verzorgen en te verbeteren. Serum maakt huid zacht en kalm. Wat betreft het verminderen van pigmentvlekken, heb ik dit werk niet geconstateerd. Mogelijk moet ik serum wat langer gebruiken.

I have used the retinol serum now for just over 2 months. The product quickly absorbs without leaving an oily finish like a lot other serums tend to do. I use the bioniva vitamin C serum in the morning with a dermaroller and then this retinol serum at night followed with my night cream. The crows feet around my eyes have diminished significantly, my light forehead wrinkles are basically gone and my sun spots are lighter. I will go through one bottle of this miracle treatment in about 9 weeks and just ordered another!

J'ai attendu un bon moment après mon achat avant de faire une évaluation car les produits de beauté mettent du temps à agir on le sait bien. Je suis une femme d'origine métisse d'age mature et avec une peau du visage sensible. J'aime bien ce produit car la texture du sérum est très légère et il s'étale très facilement. Il n'y a pas beaucoup d'odeur ce qui est pas mal pour moi s'agissant d'un sérum. Après en terme d'efficacité après une utilisation de 2 mois est vraiment très bien. Teint plus lumineux, action nourrissante,, etc...Je recommande ce produit sans hésitation. Une mention spéciale au service marketing de Bionura qui vous accompagne par mail lors de votre achat et vous fournit pleins d'informations pour démarrer avec leur produit. C'est suffisamment rare pour le notifier ici. Bravo à vous et je compte explorer votre catalogue.
