This fan is terrible - it would bearly move a feather? And the blade keeps falling off?** A: Take the fan cage apart, rescrew the fan blade on. It should go on anticlockwise if I remember and make sure it's tight then put back on the cage and you should be ok. If not send it back. I've just spent 12 pounds on a 12 inch fan from b and q with 3 speeds if this helps you.....it is a better fan to be honest. **Q: It said this has been delivered to me and I have not had it** A: Well you wanna find out where it is **Q: Does this definitely occillate when turned on ?** A: Yes it does oscillate. I like the fact that the “badge” on the front saying “Status” doesn’t need to be installed ;-)It works perfectly but does have a slight hesitation before completing the turn when oscillating, which is a bit off putting given that the fan’s design is the same as my other one that is still going strong after a quarter of a century despite being stored in a damp shed every winter for 20 years and has never had any hesitation when turning. I bought it as an additional fan due to recent heatwaves, not to replace my other one. I have therefore kept the box just in case it fails and I have to return it.
