Dakota Odour Bomb - Car Air Freshener, Neutralise Odours - NEW CAR SCENT

Bought this to get rid of overpowering dog smell in new car I purchased, and this product has completely solved the problem. Three weeks on my car still smells fresh and clean. The scent is slightly sweet but not sickly. After reading reviews i decided not to let it off as a bomb but instead sprayed the whole can by hand, put the aerosol over every surface, in the boot and the rest just into the air of the car - took less than 5 minutes. I left it overnight and then opened all the windows for an hour before i drove it the next day. No residue left, just a doggy free, fresh and pleasant drive 😀 highly recommend this product

This definitely does the job. I would buy again. My dog was sick in my van. Even after washing it there was a strong smell. This definitely got rid of the smell. It does smell a little odd but better than dog sick.

i was a little skeptical about the product but after having a car in storage for a few years it had a damp musty smell so thought i would give this a go! for car use you only use a couple of small short bursts of spray which was easy to do i left the car locked up overnight and this morning vented the car for an hour or so before checking it. this is described as new car smell? not sure what new cars they have had but the smell is rather odd defiantly not new car! but anyway it seems to have done the trick and got rid of the musty smell, however i suspect that once the smell of the product dissapear over a few days what will i be left with? Hmm i hope it works

Very nice and strong fragrance. I believe its good quality but it hasn't fully removed the smell. It appears to mask the smell rather then remove it. So if you have a strong cigarette smell, I don't recommend. I have now had to buy another brand to try. However, if its light odour yiu want to get rid off. It will work.

Having recently purchased a car that had a lingering smoke smell from the previous owner, I thought I'd give this a try as a cheap option to professional cleaning and was surprised that it has actually worked !I have only used it once so far quickly spraying it in short bursts with the A/C on re-circulation and so far the smoke smell has not come back. The scent of the spray is initially strong but is far nicer than the smoke odor and is gradually fading. It's been a good few weeks now since the first "blast" so it remains to see if the smoke smell comes back, but if it does there's plenty left in the can for more sprays.

Disappointed

I read about this online, as it was recommended by another site for removing the smell of smoking from cars, which I needed to do with my new car.The smell of smoke wasn’t particularly fresh so it was clear it was ingrained within the upholstery to a certain extent.Using this item (about half a can), as per the instructions, has completely removed the smell and it has now been replaced with a much fresher fragrance.I wouldn’t necessarily call it ‘New Car Smell’ as it is a bit more berry like, but it certainly seems to have done the job!

I followed the instructions and even stuck up some paper on the ceiling as I'd seen it can get quite messy on the ceiling but it still went everywhere.Smells clean and so far seems to have done the job but not sure I'd use again after having to clean this all up
