Are these batteries suitable Duracell Plus MN1300 Alkaline D Batteries ?

Any range of D' batteries will be ok

What type of sweets can be put in? And can small key rings be used?

We used moam chews,celebrations that type of thing, the gap is a good size but not sure key rings would fit.

What batteries does this need?

3 X D batteries but unless you have already bought it wouldn't get it off Amazon as one I bought was broken and still having problems getting it refunded had to go to toys r us and buy another one as I had a very upset birthday boy. Hope this helps
