De'Longhi Icona Vintage - Espresso Machine Manual Milk Frother Beige

This Expresso machine is really easy to use and delivers the perfect Expresso every time. It has bags of pressure from the pump, so you will get a lovely cream topping to your coffee. It is less bulky than others and is really elegant, compared to the bulky plastic alternatives available. You cannot beat a bit of chrome. There are a few words of advice to share....always use filtered water to avoid limescale build up. Regularly remove the the filter screen 'press' which sits above where you lock in the coffee holder. Its held in place with one crosshead screw and you will need to prise it out with the end of a teaspoon. Other than that, its a really superb piece of kit.

Very good espresso machine easy to use and clean the ese pods are amazing makes a perfect espresso every time for £0.30, makes great cappuccinos can't see any downsides at all.

Needed to replace my old vintage Iconica espresso machine that I’ve had for years, so delighted to see this model still on sale. A Great price and it’s super quick to heat up and pour. My old machine sounded like a lawnmower towards it’s demise, but tge new one is silent in comparison!

Always leaks from the milk wand, had replaced and new one did the same. Then new one stops working entirely after less that a year. Looks nice, but terrible quality.

however, it's not as well designed as previous de Longhi machines I've had. Why not? Well, in their effort to produce a very pretty machine, de Longhi designers failed to take into account that the basin beneath the removable drip tray also gets drips of liquid and bits of ground coffee get in there, and because it's physically part of the main part of the machine, it's incredibly difficult to clean. Previously this whole section could be lifted off and washed, now you can't do this. Also, the design of the coffee baskets that came with this is horrible, and they're really tight to get into the bit where the water comes out. Thankfully the old design fits this machine too, so we've just carried on using the baskets from previous machines. Other than those two things, the machine is easy to use, makes nice coffee, and is pretty to look at. Clean it regularly (i.e. descale the whole machine and make sure you turn the machine over and unscrew the filter where the water comes through, the amount of oils that collect there is astonishing!) Word to de Longhi designers - don't lose sight of real life in your endeavours, please! As with all products you need to understand how people ACTUALLY use things, not how you think they should.

Bought it due to a half price deal offer but would never pay over £150 (current price). The design is really nice but takes a lot of space for a small coffee machine. The biggest flaw is noise...I get up for work very early and I'm pretty sure that my neighbours are bit affected by my coffee machine... It nearly vibrates while making coffee and the metal tray makes a lot of noise during the process. Not great for this kind of price. I would not buy it again...rather gladly sell it lol

Loved it! Arrived promptly and nicely packed. This machine has an awesome vintage style, almost all of it made of stainless steel which is a bonus. Ergonomic, economic with auto off feature, water boiler heats up the water in seconds, the steam is powerful and the steam knob does a very good job adjusting the pressure, and makes a delicious cafe. The Icona leather ''vintage icona'' big tag hanging on the machine is adorable. Having said that, i read a lot of comments about ''cafe is watering'' or ''too thick'' or ''water is leaking through the steam whilst brewing'' etc. Just improve your barista skills guys! Read the instructions and download the ''De' Longhi coffee expert'' application free of charge. You ll find some awesome tips how to use this machine and make an excellent cafe. You need to experiment a little bit because not all espresso machines produce fine cafe by using them in the same way. I personally found the right balance with this machine by grinding the cafe between 2-3 size medium to fine but NOT thin (my previous machine would not make a nice cafe with size any other than 3 medium). About taping it, I prefer my cafe with a nice crema so i tap it a little bit stronger than suggested. Besides, a good espresso comes out of the machine in ''slow'' speed without a struggle. That means you grid the cafe at correct size and tap it as it should be. If cafe runs from the filter like a ''quick tab water'' (cafe is too thick) or ''painfully slow'' (cafe is too thin) better throw it and try again. About water leak through the steam when brewing or vise-versa, yes it does leak a bit but is normal for powerful cafe machines to do that and when the steam pressure is high. This is only GOOD NEWS. Is not an issue if the amount is small. 5 stars all the way so far and if anything changes, I ll update the review. Its a cafe insult to rate it lower than 5! :)

This is a great coffee machine. Having bought another brand at around the same price, which was utterly worse than useless, which subsequently had to be returned, I opted to try this one. ITS PERFECT! It takes its time to brew the coffee but it is worth the few seconds it takes to do so. The steamer also works really well. It also doesn't overheat if you are making a few coffees back to back. AT LAST!! I have found my perfect retro coffee machine, that makes delicious lattes. I'm very happy with my purchase. Yes its a bit noisy as per other reviews but who cares, so what, as long as it makes delicious coffees, thats all that matters. it works and performs brilliantly and therefore I give it 5 stars

Really good, Makes a little noise initially but subsides immediately as soon as coffee comes out. Good and creamy coffee, also great for cappuccinos. No water leakage

Kılavuzu okuyup çalıştırması epey zor oldu başlangıçta boş haldeyken su akmadi epey bir süre bozuk zannettim filtreyi kahvesiz çalıştırıp yarım ölçü suyu bosaltirken baya bir zorlanma oldu makinede sonra suyu akıtmaya başladı. Sonra da tarif ettiği gibi kahve yapmayı başardım pratik kullanışlı tavsiye ederim inşallah bozulmadan uzun yıllar kullanabilirim

The machine has stopped working after 40 days

magnifique dans ma cuisine et assortie au carrelage années 50. super machine aussi. Il a fallu faire passer une dizaine de cafés pour que le gout soit au top ( elle avait besoin de tanins, sans doute!) et j'ai un peu galéré la première fois car après avoir fait de la mousse de lait, je n'arrivais pas à réutiliser la machine qui s'éteignait toute seule.. juste parce que le bouton "vapeur"(celui du bas) était enclenché... une fois que j'ai compris, tout allait bien!!! je la trouve toujours aussi belle et bien après 3 mois...
