Works Much Better than Cherry Tablets
I've now been on this product for about 2 weeks. All I can say is that I'm impressed! I've been on Cherry tablets for several months and I thought they were doing ok. However, about a month ago, I ended up with a gout attack in my left big toe. This, while on the Cherry tablets?! And, it hurt big time. What's odd, is that my left big toe had had a very dull ache for quite some time. I just thought that maybe it was arthritis (I'm 53.) I do know that my last blood work showed my uric acid quite high. After the gout attack, I decided to go looking for something other than Cherry tablets. I found Goutrin and decided to try it. I can tell you that my left big toe has no pain; not even the dull ache that it had for months. I can bend it, I can ride a bicycle (spin class), I can even jog with absolutely no pain. I'm impressed with this product and plan on taking it for a while. One bottle should last me 2 months; just in time for some more blood work. I'm interested to see what my uric acid levels will be after being on this for 2 months. I'll try to remember to come back here and update my review when that happens. P.S. The only potential negative or side effect, is that since taking Goutrin, I appear to need to take 1-2 Tums per day. Prior to taking Goutrin, I hardly took 1 Tums per month. I'm not yet convinced that this is related to the Goutrin, but maybe something else. I'm just not sure. UPDATE: I just ordered another bottle and I'm totally befuddled! The first bottle's directions were to take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the evening. That is what I've been doing for the last several months. This new bottle, however, has totally different directions. This new bottle's directions are to take 3 capsule 3 times per day?! I've checked and double-checked and the ingredients in my last bottle and this new bottle are identical; including amount of milligrams of each. So, if the product is identical, why the switch in directions from essentially 2 per day to 9 per day??!!

Not "Great", but "Really Good"
Immediate results. Went from "severe" to "not too bad" overnight. Within another 24 hours, I was at "mild discomfort." Unfortunately, it never took me all the way to "cured." It leveled off at "mild" and stayed there. After a week, I finally went to see a doctor who took me the rest of the way with prescription medication. Still keeping the Goutrin on hand in case of any flare ups though. No complaints about the product because it worked so quickly - and believe me, when you're in that kind of pain, any relief of any sort is a blessing.

It was worth a shot!
Having had my first experience with Gout (confirmed by doctor) I was painfully (pun intended) aware that this pain is right up there with kidney stones. My doctor suggested diet modification to see if that would control any other outbreaks. That was a bust - eating healthy made me feel better but did not stop the next gout flare up. At least, on the bright side, my gout has remained in the foot (big toe). I was reading anything with the word "gout" in from the internet. Some recommendations were plausible - eat cherries, take vitamin C. Others not so much. For some reason I have had continued flare ups, some lasting 5-7 days. I did the ice packs which helped with the immediate pain. Putting on a shoe was painful. Wearing the shoe all day was past painful - the swelling caused increased pressure and every step seemed to make it worse. I found a review of Goutrin on the internet and immediately did a search on Amazon. I was in the middle of a flare up and was willing to order anything at that time. Money well spent!!! Since I have Prime, the order arrived in 2 days. I tore open the box and read the label (just to be sure of the ingredients). I took only two tablets (bottle said 3 tablets, 3 times a day) twice a day - morning and evening. I'm not a fan of taking too many remedies - especially unknown ingredients. In two days I was free from the pain and the swelling and heat was gone from the affected area. Unfortunately, the joint is larger on the affected foot. I have not had another flare up and have moved to a maintenance regime with Goutrin. I take one table twice a day - morning and night. There are times I have felt a twinge of the gout pain but it does not go into a full blown attack. I did modify my diet - reducing my intake of red meat and sugar. I am not sure of it is a combination of diet and Goutrin - all I know is that it works for me.

No more gout attack so far
Got my 1st gout attack last fall. Doctor prescribed Colchicine which works but too strong. Felt dizzy and uncomfortable. Then a 2nd attack came a month later. Diet control was failed on me. Then googled and found this Goutrin supplementary worked on some people. Ordered 1 bottle and tried for couple weeks. It's working! So far nearly half year no any sign of gout and my diet has not been changed any bit. Still eat beef, sea food, and all the tasty (but bad) foods. Take Goutrin twice a day but still keep some Colchicine at office and home in case an acute gout comes again. Would recommend Goutrin to people suffering from gout. UPDATES ON 6/15/2012 - Goutrin still works on me after 2 years. Sometimes when office works are intensive I drink very less water. Before, when this situation happened my feet started to feel something not right. Now this didn't happen for quite a while. Blood work shows my urine acid and all others are ok. But still I would suggest if you can, drink enough water. It's water, not coke, juice, or coffee. UPDATES ON 2/3/2014 - Goutrin has been part of my life now. No any gout for the past several years. Now I purchase their 3 bottle pack to save some bucks and make 2 orders each year to save time on ordering. It's not actually a medication but is working smooth and better on me. I do keep Colchicine still but take it 1 or 2 times about half year when I drink very less water in a long time.

This stuff works better then prescribed meds!
Goutrin -Uric Acid Neutralizer for Gout (120 Capsules) Brand: Organika I came down with a very bad gout attack while out of state. That was on a Wednesday 2 weeks ago. Got home and found this product and ordered it after reading the many positive reviews. I started taking the product as soon as it arrived again on a Wednesday. My pain level was so high that I could hardly walk around the house. Within 2 days the pain level went down to a 2 with 10 being the worst. I took this product to my doctor appointment and showed her the bottle and the ingredient list. She gave a thumps up and said she recognized some of the ingredients as being known to fight gout. As I write this 4 days after starting taking this product, I am happy to say all signs of gout and pain are gone! I will continue using but in less then prescribed manor to control the uric acid that causes gout. I have also changed my diet and am drinking a great tasting cherry concentrate that I ordered the same day. I will be ordering more of that since it really taste great and is known to help control uric acid, the cause of gout. get this and throw away you dangerous prescription drugs! My doctor had prescribed indomethacin()for gout pain. Not only did it not work, it also caused my head to feel like a bad drunk or hang over.

Good Medicine At a Fair Price
I take goutrin twice a day as a preventative to gout flare ups. So far it's worked quite well. It is a blend of herbal ingredients that help your body fight off the effects of gout.

Worked for me.
All my attacks have lasted about a week, however the last one lasted a month just before thanksgiving in 2012. The typical meds from the doc just didn't work. Then I found this and based on the reviews I thought I'd give it a try. Last Thursday (1/31/2013), I had a flare up - the pain came on at night as it usually does, and in the morning my toe was not bending at all. The recommended dose is one pill in the morning and one at night. I took 2 instead when I woke up. The pain was getting worse come night fall and was dreading the night. Had my cold water and towels out to put on the toe to help with the pain. Took two pills and went to sleep. The pain started to subside and by morning it had gone down considerably. I didn't need the cold towels and could keep the covers on. Could move my toe by morning again, still some pain but much better. Friday morning took another pill, and one in the evening. Saturday, everything was back to normal. Since then, I've been taking one pill in the morning and one in the evening. I did combine the pills with the following: Tall glass of strawberry juice every day. 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in the morning and at night (have been doing this anytime I feel like the gout is coming back for the last two years, seems to keep it at bay most of the time).

It's my first bottle, it's hard to judge after only half of it done. But, I haven't had any flare ups since I started even thou I've been drinking wine and coffee and what ever you shouldn't be doing. We will see.

It seems to do the job. I've been taking ...
It seems to do the job. I've been taking this with cherry concentrate pills also and so far I have not had major pains on my toe. Always mind your diet though. I did go out a bit last week and had 4 beers over 2 days and two days later I did feel a bit of pain again. However, I have did not have to take Indocin since I started taking this.
