What batteries does it use

AA batteries i think it's was 3.

Would it fit 13yr old

It would depend on the height of your 13yr old, from memory there is a toggle waist so should fit,

Would it stay inflated if running (more like walking) a 5k charity run? Thanks :)

Yes as long as you make sure the bottom of each leg is kept tight and the top tied tight also . We used elastic bands to make sure.the fan inside inflates it . Also use duracell batteries and keep some spares in your bag.

Does the hat come with the costume?

Yes it did come with the hat. Our stag got refused entry to a pub with the horse but they were ok with the hat, so we tied up the horse outside and kept taking it beer to drink, well pretending to make it drink, it’s not a real horse only a pretend. Real horses like cider
