The weight arrived with some chipped paint and the cavity contained some dirt. I have decided to clean the weight, re-paint and re-calibrate it afterwards. I think it ended up with being class F2 weight. It is being used to calibrate a balance with .1 gram resolution, for which you really need class F1 weight, but they are so expensive that I don't even think about it. Inexpensive Chinese balances can be great, but they have to be calibrated right before the measurement and this calibration weight has made it possible.
