Brilliant, it actualy works as advertised. 5***** rating from me
This is absolutely brilliant. I have regular pedicures to try and alleviate hard skin areas with little success. I have tried the blades, pumice stone again with limited success. I ordered the Scholl Velvet Diamond on the Friday as it was on 'Todays Deals', it arrived Saturday lunchtime. I used it for 15 minutes total for both feet and I now have the softest feet I can remember. My friends and family think I am more loopy than normal as I keep telling them how brilliant this product is. The next time it is on offer I will be purchasing a few for them. It is so easy to use and comfortable to hold. The cleaning is effortless, a quick rinse and dry. I intend to use it on a weekly basis as I wear sandals 12 months of the year, hence the hard skin. I will now search out the best place to purchase replacement rollers for when I need them. I would recommend this 100% to anyone considering buying one.

Soft, Smooth Feet in Minutes – Works Like a Charm
The Scholl Velvet Smooth Pedi Electric Foot File is amazing! It makes removing hard skin so quick and easy. The roller spins smoothly and effectively buffs away rough patches without hurting your feet. I love that it’s rechargeable—no need for batteries—and it’s lightweight and easy to hold. After using it for just a few minutes, my feet feel noticeably softer and smoother. Cleaning is simple too; the roller detaches easily for rinsing. Overall, this is a must-have for anyone who wants salon-quality foot care at home. Definitely worth the investment!

Pedi electric file
I bought this for my partner and she finds it a great file for the hard skin on her feet and uses it on a regular basis

Am not impressed
I bought this based on all the good reviews, and am quite puzzled. I thought this would be a lot more effective than it is, based on reviews. I am sure I don't have more callouses than average for my age (50) on my feet, based on a before/after picture left by a reviewer and some of the verbal descriptions in reviews. I have never used an electric foot file, so cannot compare this to any other brands. I bought this one because it was reduced and because the replacement rollers seemed cheaper than those for some other brands. I would've far preferred one that is re-chargeable or at least lets you use rechargeable batteries (why are you not supposed to use them with this, I wonder? If they're the correct battery type, surely it makes no difference?). But I didn't have ages to research all the ins and outs and replacement rollers for the rechargeable ones I saw seemed very expensive. I first used this after I had removed all the dead skin quite recently, so there was not a lot to take off in the first place, and it took it ages to get anywhere near the finish I get with a manual foot file. I washed my feet and soaked them before using the second time, but didn't seem to help a lot. I now rough up the skin the first, using a coarse manual file, then use this, and after using this for quite a while, I can still take a lot of dry skin off using medium-fine hand file.. I think maybe it depends what type of manual file you are comparing this to, because they differ greatly in coarseness and effectiveness, I've found. I've got a pedi-egg, although not the original, and don't find that very effective, either, and found it got blunt quite quickly.. I've tried a lot of different manual files and it took me a while to find ones that worked well for me (one of best is a cheapie from my local pharmacist). I find it best to use more than one type: a coarse one first, then a finer one, and finish with the paper that's on the back of some. And they do get blunt, so need replacing regularly, and yeah, are more effort. Maybe I need to buy replacement rollers for this, but this comes with the coarsest roller you can get, and even when it was new, I didn't think it very effective, and while it would've been more effort to remove the same amount of skin by hand, it would not have taken longer, if anything, I think it would've been quicker.. I used this for ages the first time, the only time I used this on its own, without using a manual file in addition. One of the reviewers said little and often was better with this, and I definitely concur, however, would add that in my view, you're looking at very little, very often... It does take dead skin off, yes, and I know this comes with a coarse roller, so it won't get a very smooth finish on its own, that's fine, I was planning to buy some of standard rollers to finish with, but am now wondering whether it's worth it. And I suppose they need to be careful that it's not too effective, as people might end up taking off more skin than intended, which I know from painful experience is easily done, but I really expected this to be a bit more effective than it is, considering this doesn't cost a lot less than a mini-sander for DIY!

Amazing recommend to everyone with cracked feet/heels, you won't regret it!
This is absolutely amazing if you have rough heels. I got this because I wear a lot of open shoes/flats and walk quite a bit hence my heels were a little rough. I got the extra coarse with diamonds and I can't even exaggerate but from the first use my feel were sooooo smooth, I just regretted not getting it earlier. This is actually one of the best things I have ever brought because I used to hate my rough heels. It comes with batteries so it’s ready to use. I haven’t had to replace the roller head yet, i have only replaced the batteries. It works just as well. I cannot recommend this product enough and if you are like me and have troublesome heels/feet then you really will not regret buying it. Now summer is approaching and sandals will be coming out I will be using this a lot more.. I can’t explain how smooth my feet felt after just using it once. Bear in mind you might need to put something down (like newspaper) because you will be shocked at the amount of dead skin that comes of your feet. Absolutely 5 star without a doubt no cons on my side

Poor Quality Updated Model
I brought the Scholl Pedi Electric Foot File when it first came out (maybe 10 years ago), it was a good solid product and easy to use. Recently, I was in need of a replacement, something simple and battery powered - as I don't use it often. So thought I would stick with the Scholl brand, rather then looking at others. This new model isn't as solid, feels plasticly and light. For me the main disappointment is the power button to turn it on/off and speed control. I'm disabled with weak hands, so found it difficult to press and use the power button. Overall however, it does the job!!! {Thanks to Amazon, I was refunded and my money wasn't wasted, as its no use to me.}
