Great Item
I bought one of these to leave at my parent's house when I travelled up to see them and then wished that I had the same at my house (I used a Tommee Tippee electric steriliser). Basically, if you're going to buy one of these then buy the Avent bottles to match as it makes life so much easier. Everything slots in easily and although the product is quite large it fits in most microwaves - even my parent's small one which had millimeters to spare round the sides!! Works really well, easy to clean, totally happy with the results. If I'd have known I would never use my breast pump then I would have bought this product to use at home.

Very handy and cheap!
I hate spending a lot of money on gadgets you really don't use too much (althought they're quite necessary). Yes, you can always get back to traditional ways of sterilising by boiling bottles and soothers in water for 5 or 10 minutes, but it still takes a lot of time and it's quite messy. I found this steriliser very easy tu use and very handy. It takes only a second to pour a little bit of water inside of it. Then all you have to do is to put yout bottles, soothers, teats, etc., inside the steriliser, close it and put inside the microvawe oven for some minutes. It's so easy and cheap, as you don't have to buy any sterilising tablets (just add half a glass of water...). It's suitable not only for avent bottles, but for everything you need to sterilise (plastic spoons, breastpump parts, silicone nipple shields, etc.). All you have to do is to check that your mcrowave oven is big enough for this steriliser. For your information, it's diameter is 26cm aprox. (I couldn't find this information in any product description nor on the Phillips/Avent webpage! This should be fixed by Philips/Avent!). Good buy for a really great price (and really cheap use!).

Excellent product!
This steam steriliser has been a life saver when I've needed to sterilise breast pump parts. The design is sleek, it looks pricier than its actual price tag, and there's plenty of space and slots to sterilise all pump parts in one go. All you do is to fill the base with 200mls of water, slot everything into the basket and stick the steriliser in the microwave oven. Note the length of time required in the microwave oven depends on the wattage of your oven. Takes 4 minutes for us with a 900W oven. I used a youtube video for instructions on how to use as I wasn't sure what the various slots in the basket were for initially & once I'd watched the video, I found the steriliser very simple to use.

Great piece of kit/ As a first time mother
Great piece of kit/ As a first time mother, I hadn't clue about how to even get started with sterilising etc. I bought this because it was on offer, and as with most first timers, it stayed in its box until one day the baby refused to breastfeed. Straight out of the box it was very simple to use, the only issue being trying to work out how powerful my microwave was. Other than that, its a straight forward job of putting in 200ml of water and 4 mins in the microwave for me. I even fit in the breast pump, dummies, and bottles from all different brands other than Phillips. In terms of its size, it does fill up the entire microwave, but it does pack loads in it. Beware it is very hot once done, so best to give it a few minutes before handling. I've never used any steriliser before but I find it hard to believe that it could be any simpler than this one.

Great product
We originally had the Tommy tippee electric steam steriliser but it takes up a lot of work top space. Bought this instead and it's 100% easier to use and store. It just fits in the microwave and doesn't spin but it still does the job and either sits on top of microwave or in it when we don't need it. Very easy to clean, simply with soapy water, again another plus compared to the Tommy tippee one, no need to descale. I would say it would be good if baby had to stay overnight somewhere as it clips shut and isn't overly big. I use Tommy Tippee closer to Nature bottles and I can fit 4 x 280ml bottles, the teats, and some dummys. The bottle lids don't fit in but I just soak them in boiling water or you could do them separately. Overall pleased with this product.

Go for it!
I had the old round electric steriliser and was getting fed up of the scale building up and the constant cleaning with chemical product. This microwave steriliser is absolutely brilliant!!! It fits in my tiny microwave but I would recommend making sure it fits in yours. I have the natural bottles and teats and can fit 4 of them in it, with a couple of dummies or feeding spoons. It's a good quality product and the price is such a bargain. It's also really practical when you need to travel. Ok it takes space in the luggage but so much better than any other temporary solutions. I can't believe I used the electric one and struggled all those months, when this one is more practical, so much easier to clean up, and does the job perfectly well.

Sterilises fast, non bulky and easy to clean
Love this steriliser. We had the large plug in tommee tippee for our first daughter but it was a pain to clean, took a long time to complete the sterilizing cycle and ended up breaking after about 10 months. We binned it when our next daughter was born and bought this instead. There is no comparison between the two. This is compact and doesnโt take up counter space like the last one, needs practically zero cleaning and sterilizes in 4 minutes. It has less space for bottles but we havenโt had an issue with this as it completes the cycle so quickly. We have quite a large microwave and itโs a neat fit so do measure your microwave before purchasing. I also wouldnโt buy this product for travel as itโs still fairly bulky. Buy multi-use microwave sterilizing bags instead.

Great product ๐
Easy to use. Much better than the electrical one. Which should be placed near a socket. This one is portable, smaller and does the job really good. Requires less distilled water per use

Excellent!
My time saver! Excellent for its money! Very easy to use and it's roomy enough for couple of bottles. It's light, so we took it with us in the luggage. It became my "must have" for the last 6 months.

Wonderful
Wonderful sterilizer. I bought it after my electric sterilizer broke down. My kiddo started having lose stools and I realized that the electric sterilizer was leaking the water and switching off prematurely. Then I bought this one. Breaking down is not possible in this one since it is just a closed compartment. Yes you need to check the microwave size you have and it sterilizes all my four bottles together. No hassles and takes only four minutes. Sterilizer is effective as my kiddo has not had loose stools ever since I bought it. It's good. Only drawback... You cannot carry it for travel purposes. You can use sterilizing tablets in travel time.

Very handy to use
This is really good buy if you have a microwave you do not need an electric, this one can fit 4 small size bottles or 2 big ones I am very happy with it, 2 and itโs done. I had used steriliser packets before but that needs to be changed every 20 washes and was more expensive and would not fit everything together. With this I can sterilise as many times I want
