Why did you choose this product over others?: Comfortable, reliable, and easy to use I started using the JSP Force 8 half‑mask respirator at my salon while working with strong adhesive for eyelash extensions and fine dust during nail polish removal .The Press‑To‑Check P3 filters give instant peace of mind,I just press the filter and feel the seal, so I know it’s working every time. The Typhoon exhalation valve is a game-changer,breathing feels natural, and there’s minimal moisture build-up even after hours. The soft rubber and 4‑point harness make it snug and comfortable, with no squeezing on the nose bridge. I can easily clean it after treatments, replace filters monthly, and it still feels fresh. After using pricier disposable masks, this reusable option is far more cost-effective. I only wish I’d switched sooner!

I have just bought my second one of these after eventually breaking the first one after extensive daily use at university. This was entirely my fault as I was hoovering to clean the inside and accidentally sucked out the rubber membrane between the mask and the filters. I use these masks to protect me from fine glass and silicone dust which are extremely hazardous when making moulds and coldworking glass. Not only are these masks very comfortable due to the rubber nose and mouth seal, but they are very easy the adjust, and don't place too much pull on the face, or pressure on the sinuses when compared to disposable masks. They are also far better value because of them being reusable. As mentioned earlier the outside of the mask can get dirty and so can the inside which is why it helps to keep it in the supplied plastic drawstring bag, although it can be a little awkward to clean the outside where the straps attach. The strap system on the neck makes it very easy to remove and reapply the mask whilst keeping it round your neck by just pulling it over your face. It does feel a little weird at first when wearing it with the strap being across your neck but it works well. The plastic ring head piece is easily adjustable and sits on the crown of your head comfortably. I wear this for long periods of time (at 3-8 hours in one sitting) and it's much more comfortable than disposable masks and just lately I have found most places have been out of stock of the P3 disposable masks. Unlike the aforementioned masks the elastic on this reviewed mask doesn't come off or snap as it's well secured and not stapled. It's extremely easy to tell if this mask is fitted safely by pressing in the 2 filters either side and breathing in to check that the mask is airtight (you shouldn't be able to breath when these are pressed in). Sometimes I end up with slight marks on my face where I have tightened the mask too much - although this is normally when wearing several other things like a cap to protect my head and goggles. As with many masks, it can be a slight pain to wear other branded goggles with masks such as these due to the top of the nose piece. As such I have replaced my bolle goggles with JSP EVO® Goggles (same brand as the mask). These goggles are very good, with a bigger screen than my bolle ones and fit better with this mask. I still find I have to have the elastic headband at a diagonal angle higher up my head to keep them tighter to avoid a gap and fit close to the upper rubber nose part of this mask. I was so impressed with the ease and comfort and price of this mask from 3 years at university that I made the decision to get another of these rather than risk using often more expensive and poorly rated all-in-one goggles and masks which have a tendency to steam up more. I have been wearing this mask and goggles combination recently on a daily basis whilst doing DIY for approximately 8 hours on and off (creating a lot of dust from sanding filler, and lime mortar in a very dirty and dusty 100 year old building). Unlike my previous use at university I have admittedly had problems with excessively sweating whilst wearing this in the extremely hot and muggy heat this summer which has led to having a small swimming pool of sweat build up in the inside of the rubber part of this mask - I don't put this down to the mask but rather to the conditions I'm working in. When this happens I just dry the excess with a bit of paper towel and leave it to air dry and it's good to use again. I don't believe this is a fault of the mask and it doesn't help with the goggles steaming up so much. I did struggle to get the filters to fit because the circular seals are tight tough plastic and the rubber nose part is soft and flexible so it's hard to rotate them and click them into place. They were not just tough to fit but the arrow system was slightly confusing as other people have stated in reviews. You just need to keep twisting them round and they do apply the correct way as pictured on the instructions and photos on here with the white filters sweeping back and diagonally upwards. Personally I think if you buy this, the fact that these are the filters supplied, I think there is no reason why the manufacturers cannot supply them already fitted (clicked in place) to avoid this problem / confusion. I highly recommend the mask - I know I can trust it to protect me from hazardous dust and it's largely comfortable!

I've been using this for home renovations, and it's been brilliant. The seal is tight, and as far as I can tell, no dust gets through. PressToCheck filters – Easy to check the seal before use. Good value – Performs as well as pricier alternatives. Cons: Gets warm – Like most dust masks, it can get a bit sweaty during long use. Final Thoughts: If you need solid protection for dust-heavy tasks, this is one of the best half-masks out there. The PressToCheck feature is a game changer, and despite getting warm, it’s a top choice for safety and reliability.

I'm always doing things in the house that I shouldn't, like grinding concrete floors and sanding down cupboards but always used the most basic face mask I could find. Not a good idea. Its only now as I'm getting older I've realised that you only get one set of lungs and you better take care of them or it's not going to be fun. I'm no expert on ... anything at all to be honest 🤔😅 but I do know when something works and this mask works like a dream. I've used it for all sorts; from sanding and painting to cleaning up powdered sugar explosions made by my kids 🥴 and please believe me when I say the powdered sugar job was the one that made me most grateful to have this mask. The smell of it is not nice, like, at all. It assaulted my nose the first time I wore it and even now after a few weeks of having it the chemical whiff is still there. I dont know if this is normal for these kinds of masks, but after a while you get used to it and I'd prefer to deal with an unpleasant smell rather than lung disease some years down the line 🤷‍♀️ Its looks very big and clunky but its so light and comfortable when you put it on. Once you've adjusted the straps to the size you need its good to go and easy enough to put on. For the price I can't complain at all, im more than happy with the mask and I'm glad I bought it. Its handy to have. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the smell of it. Everything else is perfect 👌

Fits great with or without glasses. Very comfortable, been wearing in this heat for 8 hours without an issue in a dusty factory. Actually felt cooler with it on! Easy filter change and easy to clean. What’s not to like? Recommended!

Bought this mask to do some shot blasting (along with some other protection). Works a dream, great fit and very easy to breathe comfortably for long periods of time. I did find after a long period wearing this that my facial muscles ached a bit from how I was holding my jaw open but the mask itself works very well. Next I intend to purchase the appropriate filters and do some 2k painting (The P3 filters here are not suitable for chemicals) . There's an extensive range of filters which can be viewed on JSP's website. I feel very spoilt after years only using disposable masks, this respirator is a whole new level of pleasant.

Excellent piece of kit. Having tried a few masks, the main issues I was having were fogging and constantly having to reset the fitting. Not the case for the JSP. Worth every penny. More than happy to recommend for those needing a decent mask for woodworking and general DIY. My only gripe is that it ca be a little tricky with my glasses.

Jag har den i snickarverkstaden när jag slipar. Kan ha den i 2 h i sträck lätt. Ingen imma på glasögonen och den håller nästan helt tätt trots mitt skägg.

I also have a full-face version of this, and they are comfortable, fit well, and filter out everything I need. Replacement filters are easy to find and fit.

Ich möchte ehrlich sein...ich bin viel zu oft ein so genanntes "Marken- & oder Verpackungsopfer. Auch bei diesem Kauf sah es lange so aus, wobei man halt auch sagen muss das dass Unternehmen "3M" einen weitverbreiteten und vorallem was die Sicherheit angeht einen hervorragenden Ruf Genießt. Viele andere Hersteller sind weder Namentlich bekannt, noch traue ich den Sternenbewertungen. Habe diesbezüglich leider schon mehrfach ins die "schei" gegriffen, deshalb bin ich vorsichtiger geworden. Bei diesem Atemschutz der Firma JSP mit den neuen, stylischen und nicht zuletzt auch hier Sicherer da die Filter länglicher, schmaler, aber auch defintiv flacher geworden sind. Der Tragekomfort ist Bombastisch und um einiges besser als der der älteren 3M Atemschutzmaske der 6000er Reihe...genauer gesagt (diese hatte ich, auch wenn sich die Zahlen lediglich nach der Filtrationstärke für die verschiedensten Aerosole, Feinstäube und sonstige Atemschädigende Stoffe. Die genaue Bezeichnung meiner lautete 6002. Wer solche Arbeitsmaterialien bei seinem Job benötigt und die Firma auf Grund von Verhandlungen so gebannte Rahmenverträge erfüllen muss hat natürlich nur selten die Wahl (klärt mich auf wenns nicht stimmt) seinen eigenen zu Kaufen und zu benutzen. Wer jedoch wie ich in einem Mehrfamilienhaus gerne die Nachbarn "ärgert"...*SPAß"...Absprache ist alles, in seiner Freizeit sehr gern Handwerklich aktiv ist und seine Idden (egal ob einfach oder schwierig) umsetzt und dabei elektrische Hilfsmittel nutzt welche Lärm oder sogar giftige Dämpfe oder einfach nur Sägespähne produziert und diese ohne Atemschutz einatmet dem kann ich diese tolle Atemschutzmaske vob JSP zu einem wirklich super fairen Preis empfehlen! Qualität stimmt, ebenso die Verarbeitung und nach den ersten beiden Einsätzen (lackierung, Im Keller bei einem gerade einmal 30x15cm großen geöffnetem Fenster, sowie die Herstellung eines Regal's aus feinstem Hartholz kann ich nichts negatives sagen. SIE IST DICHT, HINTERLÄSST KEINERLEI GESCHMACK UND LÄSST SICH HINTERHER SUPER VERSTAUEN!

Acostumbrado a la calidad de 3m y su costo alto eh decidido darle una oportunidad a esta marca que por la mitad de lo que vale la 3m. La calidad nada que envidiar a una 3m muy buenas terminaciones la recomiendo esta fabricada en uk y se nota comprela sin dudar que es eficiente de buena calidad y muy buen precio
