Could get tangled in long hair. Also the vent brush and this round brush are both good brushes. Denman make excellent quality brushes-they last ! **Q: Do these bristles create static when blow drying?** A: I dont know. I use round bristle brush for blow drying. **Q: Can you take the brush apart to clean and remove bristles?** A: Hi thank you for your question. Our D300 can not be taken apart for cleaning, you can clean in warm soapy water and leave to dry naturally.
