GOOD SPRAY PAINT BROUGHT IT TO PAINT SOME METAL LEGS OF A ELECTRIC TABLE SAW COMES OUT NICE FINISH HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This has to be my favourite spray paint. The finish is always first class it’s quick to dry and has a lovely deep gloss. I use it on multiple projects including all types of materials eg steel wood plastic and Glass the finish is always consistent and as a bonus the smell isn’t overwhelming like some other brands.

High quality spray paint. Would be better with a spray pipe on the nozzle.

Used this paint to do the inside of the headlight pods of my clasic lotus. Really good coverage almost no runs. It touch dried really quickly and i did the spraying outside. Easy to apply excellent value for money and they look really good .

I used this paint to repair some light rash on my glossy black alloy rims (Romac brand). You will need a primer to go with this as this paint is just for colour. The result was a perfect match to my wheels, can hardly tell the rash was there to begin with and I did x2 coats. Start to finish took me an hour so well worth it for the price! Even coverage and easy to use, I recommend 5*

What can you say really, the paint comes out when you press the top!? Used it on several items already and it worked well, the paint adhered OK with a nice gloss black finish. I would buy again……once I've finished these cans off!!

HYCOTE GLOSS BLACK, 400ml I had upgraded a piece of equipment on my work bench which incorporated some black frames. After attaching to my bench, I found that the washers fixing my press to the bench were embedding into the wood. I decided to buy some steel plate to fix to the top and underside of my bench to spread some of the pressure out. I wanted to spray the steel black so that it would match the black frames which I had already purchased. The spraying is quite straight forward, shake the can up for a couple of minutes to ensure the contents have mixed, then spray on your project. it's worth pointing out that PREPARATION IS KEY when spray painting! Make sure you thoroughly degrease your project before painting and make sure you have a nice, smooth surface finish if possible. I decided to use methylated spirits to degrease my project which worked well. Make sure to apply THIN coats and build up. Allow 15 minutes drying time between each coat. After the final coat is applied, allow it to dry for 24 hours to fully cure and harden. I have attached a couple of pictures. The first plate I sprayed is shown on the right, and the second plate is on the left. The finish was not amazing on the first plate but this is due to surface preparation and not the paint. I tried to polish the sheet using a fine silicon carbide grit paper, the surface looked and felt smooth but didn't help produce a good coating. I also applied the coating too thick and each layer was slightly contaminated in the area I was spray painting due to the wind, as is shown by the speckly appearance. On the second plate, I applied a thinner coat (1 pass with the spray can at a time) and did this in my shed to avoid the wind from blowing airborne particles onto it. You can see that the finish is much nicer and it is quite smooth. This is the finish I was expecting. I ended up using the badly finished sheet underneath the bench, out of sight, and the nicer piece I placed on the top. The finish matches the previously purchase frame very well and from a distance you can't really see any surface imperfections. I would definitely use this paint again for future projects! Remember that preparation is paramount.

One can was O.K The other can had a faulty valve and would spray!!!!

Ich habe das Hycote glänzend Schwarz Farbspray nun schon zweimal gekauft und bin jedes Mal begeistert. Die Anwendung ist einfach und das Spray verteilt sich gleichmäßig, ohne Tropfen oder unschöne Sprühstrahlen zu hinterlassen. Die Farbe deckt sehr gut und sorgt für einen schönen, glänzenden Schwarzton, der das Projekt wirklich aufwertet. Was mich besonders überzeugt, ist der angenehme Geruch. Im Vergleich zu anderen Spraydosen ist dieser hier wesentlich weniger intensiv, was das Arbeiten angenehmer macht. Zudem trocknet die Farbe bei idealen Bedingungen wirklich schnell, sodass man nicht lange warten muss, um weiterzuarbeiten. Ein kleiner Nachteil: Bei größeren Flächen kann es etwas mühsam sein, eine gleichmäßige Schicht zu erzielen, aber das ist bei den meisten Sprühfarben üblich. Alles in allem ist das Hycote Farbspray aber ein sehr gutes Produkt, das für den Preis eine tolle Leistung bietet. Ich werde es definitiv weiterhin kaufen und kann es für kleinere bis mittlere Lackierprojekte nur empfehlen.

Es un spray bastante decente, con buena cobertura y buen brillo. Los que dicen que no adhiere probablemente sea por falta de preparación correcta de la superficie, he visto fotos de revisiones negativas y la pintura aplicada sobre superficies cromadas… No tener ni idea y culpar el material tiene narices. En fin, ese no es mi problema. Pieza preparada con filler previo, y lijada grano 800 a mano antes de pintar y 3 capas de pintura. Una muy ligera y 15 minutos después la segunda más cargada, y la última más cargada prestando atención al brillo para que no salgan gotas. Para ser en spray queda bastante uniforme y con brillo muy decente para no haberla pulido.
