Great book
Aaron Draplin is a legend of a designer. Like myself he hails from a pre digital era. I look at his designs and they take me back to the 70's and 80's. I highly recommend this book!!! For the budding designer I would also suggest you track him down on social media.

This is a really beautiful book and as someone with a real love of good book design, I've found it hugely inspirational. The cover alone is almost worth the price of the whole book. A great look at the body of work of a very talented designer, covering his branding work and giving a glimpse into his working practices.

DDC: Done it again ...
A uniquely talented design icon showcased in a typically Draplin style. One of the hardest working men in design, Aaron provides his particular point of view in an inspiring and honest fashion, always modest and yet able to engage with his audience on many different levels. I highly recommend this book, not just for Field Notes fans but those wanting to understand what it takes to forge a career in a very competitive industry.

Inspirational and amusing
I know this guy off a Lynda.com video, showing how he works. The book is made of a fantastic tactile material and every page is interesting, be it some brand he's designed, a bit of biography or some mockups. I'm not a designer but this is a beautiful book to read or dip into. A Kindle version wouldn't be the same! Inspiring...

Beautiful design and interesting content.
I'm a Field notes fan. I love the design of the brand and the ethic behind it. So, there was a fair chance that I was going to enjoy at least a part of this book. I enjoyed all of it. The physical design of the book evokes the other work of the man, and I enjoyed getting a deeper insight into him. I recommend it.

Libro strabordante, come l'autore. Bello bello bello.
