Good quality product at a great price and made my grandson very happy.
As an angler with expensive equipment I bought this for my grandson and was surprised at the quality of kit for the price, very sturdy and light which should last for a long time, ( if his dad let's him use it as he was impressed too) the rod is not too long for a nine year old and fits into the car easily taking up little space, the reel came loaded with line and is a smooth piece of kit also, all in all a great buy and well worth the money,

Please note I have bought this as a present for a seven year old, and as such I have not used it. This review is based only on what my partner says about what has been delivered, unused, upon visual inspection only. He says it's a really decent rod and great for the price, solidly built, the size is excellent and it's a really decent reel and line. so I hope that helps. I'm not overly in the know about fishing equipment, but my partner likes to fish and he has concluded this is a decent buy. It also looks pretty cool. I showed it him first before I ordered it and he approved, it seems to be the most decent one on the market around this price point based on all the reviews I read on this rod and other rods available on Amazon.

Really good rod & reel for the price. You do need a leader line for it before you go fishing. Ideal for mackerel.

Quality of Customer Serive with this company is absolutely top class! Rod deliverd last week but broke on second cast. Contacted company. Replacement sent. Delivered today (Sunday!) By Royal Mail!!! Rod is great weight with a very nice foam handle. Totally reconmend both Rod and Company!

One rod ring was loose when it arrived. But just needed a dab of glue to sort it out. The rod itself was sturdy and surprisingly balanced. However, I would have paid the full price for just the reel, which is very smooth. Whole set up is perfect for rock fishing, pier fishing and heavy spinning with feathers.
