Mega Retro Sweets Hamper

I purchased this as a fun gift for my son on his 40th birthday and he loved it. It was nostalgic going through all the sweets in this box there is such a wonderful selection!!This really is the perfect gift for any candy lover but also if there’s someone you know who hasn’t tried a lot of British sweets this is great.The sweets are in a fun box which was sturdy although had to be careful taking the stickers off. It is jam packed and totally worth the money! Would definitely purchase again. Sorry I don't have a photo but half of them were gone by the time I thought of it as my son gave some to my grandchildren and each one had a story attached to it!!

Look great, taste great. Fab present but keep the sticker off the boxes it spoils the look

Bought this for our son at the end of June. He has a couple of sweets a day. It is now mid-August and the box isn't empty yet. The sweets come in a very sturdy box. We had a few of the retro boxes now and this has been his fave.I wish there were retro boxes that didn't contain gum. Every box we've had so far contains it. Elderly relatives wouldn't like gum and that's the only reason why I haven't bought boxes for them too.

Everything that was stated was in the box, it came roughly the size of a small shoe box. Delivery was fairly quick and although it may have been cheaper to buy the products individually (I haven't actually checked this) I can't imagine it would have been worth the time finding them all! I bought as part of a Christmas present but did have a sneaky look inside, the box looked full and I was very tempted to eat half the stuff myself. Although the box is cardboard it has a nice design on it that makes it look much nicer.Overall I think it was fairly good value for money as the time (and petrol) I would have spent finding all this made it worth it. It's also an easy present that I reckon most people would enjoy (and hopefully the person I've bought it for will feel the same!).In case anyone would like to know the use by date on the box says April 2016.

Bought for my husbands birthday as he lives retro treats and he was really pleased. Loads of different types of sweets and treats. Really good gift if you have a person who loves vintage or retro items.

I've tried a few different hampers like 8 and this is by far the best chocolates sweets sour sweet love it this is my second one now won't be going anywhere else the box is big not like an envelope lol thankyou ps my kids don't no I have it mwahahaha

I bought this for my sons birthday. He is delighted with it. Its nicely boxed, filled to the brim with a good selection of sweets and chocolates. So it should be for the money though! I'm in the wrong job. Thank goodness I bought it on offer for just under £20. If I bought all the sweets from Home Bargains I could fill this box with good items for about £6. In fairness one or two items are retro and hard to get now. There's absolutely nothing bad about this item, it's just very expensive and smaller than expected although the weight is correct.
