Q: Does it have eyelets at the top for use on a bar?

no eyelets your top cross bar slides inside the backdrop just like a curtain poll .... so much easier than most backdrops Graham

Q: How are you meant to hold it up? Will high quality artist tape work?

Hello. At one end of the material is a wide enough hem to thread white plastic water pipe through. We adapted a couple of tripods (and put fishing rod holders in the top) which holds the pipe perfectly. Easily adjustable height. This is a good way to have a potable backcloth. If you want it fixed permanently in a studio then a good tape would probably work.
