Small Grey Flume

Ignore the comments about this being difficult to clean. It's silicone, it's pretty impossible for it to be difficult to clean, you just run it under the tap and scrub it with a bristle brush for a second. I've had mine for some time now and it has not gone mouldy at all, and in fact still looks pristine. I personally love it, I wanted a flat mat for glasses and this is really stable but drains nicely so that it doesn't leave water on the glass rim. It doesn't fold as well as I had expected so do consider that if you're wanting to tuck it away in a drawer.

It is a rubber draining mat, thick and bends in the middle which helps when pouring the water way. If you do not want a drain mat that you will need to drain every time water collects in it and daily cleaning to stop from getting/looking slimy, then leave this alone. I had seen a mat with an opening for the water to drain off and run into the sink, and thought this was it. However, on receipt, it was thick and good quality rubber so I was happy to keep it. Four months in and there are black mould spots appearing, and the dried water marks make it look dirty before you scrub it off. If you do not pour off the water as soon as it is collected, it will dry leaving the hard water deposits. Cleaning requires a toothbrush to scrub clean, but it cannot get rid of the black spots. The bottom feels slimy, so you do end up washing this daily. On the good side, there are no watermarks under my dish rack. Overall, I think this JJ is just not worth it, there are better ones out there and this feels as if you are paying for the name not the design or actual need. Yes, it protects you surface from water marks but it takes daily maintenance, I do not want to take up my time with, to keep the mat clean.

Been using this for almost a year. Not sure why people have slime/mold I wash my glasses and dishes rinse with water before putting on matt and its perfect. Its not for washing a 3 course meal but for small amounts with limited space for drying its great. Flexible and easy to clean in sink with soapy water and a sponge.

Didn't work for us, employed as overflow drainer, consistently collected water & became what I can only describe as slimy. Wasn't conducive to wanting to eat/drink with things that had been left to dry on it. Had to go in dishwasher as often as the stuff we hoped to drain on it. Husband had enough & chucked it in the bin last week.

Disappointed. This works fine until the first time you forget to drain, clean and thoroughly dry it after use. Little patches of mould appear, which can’t be cleaned off no matter what product you use. You are left with a mat that looks dirty. I have had to replace mine after 3 months. Would not recommend.

I love these containers. They are stackable, dishwasher proof and freezable or can, of course, simply be used for storage. I use them to freeze and store individual portions of fruit compote and find them just the right size.

Just wanted a mini draining board for my protein shakers and thermos flasks and this is perfect for the task. I have absolutely no criticisms for it.

Very disappointed - it gets v slimy v quickly and is not easy to clean. Not what I expected - as previous buys from this company have been good.
