Review: Long lasting and good quality - Moved into our house 12 years ago and used these on my study wall - they only recently finally started to peel off, not bad going for that period of time and to be fair, our new kittens may well have accelerated the process! Old tiles came off easily, they had stained the wall underneath but not a problem as have bought replacements and put a new batch up. Important to actually read the installation instructions on the pack before beginning - leave tiles unwrapped for 48hours to get to room temperature, prepare receiving wall properly (I gave mine a thorough sugar soaping and left 3 days to properly dry); press tiles all over when sticking to the wall; leave to dry before starting to pin stuff on. Hopefully will last another 12 years, happy customer.
Review: Great for DIY projects - It's very good and can be cut the way you need with a cutter. I needed a slightly bigger size which wasn't able to find as a corkboard so this came very handy. It sticks pretty well although allowed me to reapply it as I didn't put it straight. The only con is that the tiles are not all the same size and corners are not perfectly 90°. It was ok for me cause I put a map on it but if you have it exposed it might show. Other than that definitely a great buy.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do they damaged the walls when taking them down as i am I'm university halls and can't leave at marks on the walls when I leave ?**
A: Yes they do. They leave bits of cork stuck to the wall and it’s difficult to get off.

**Q: can i cut them to make it smaller as i have to put them in cubes?**
A: I had to cut some of mine to get them to fit the space I wanted to fill. If you have a very sharp decent size craft knife or Stanley knife, I found that they cut easily. And you can mark the cutting line on the plastic backing before you peel it off.

**Q: Are cork tiles suitable for external notice boards**
A: External use would be unsuitable without a waterproof cover.  It is unlikely that an external varnish would suffice because of the small cavities between the structure of the cork.  The adhesive may also deteriorate if exposed to the elements.

**Q: Have just received 4 packs of tiles and all slightly warped. What's the best way to get them flat before fixing to wall?**
A: Probably doesn't matter. If the self adhesive sticks well to the wall the tiles will stick flat anyway.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ideal for students

As a university student in a 'student house' which isn't fully catered for the needs of the students, these self-adhesive Cork boards are a great way to enable you to have a more portable Cork board. Pros: -Easy to set up -Strong adhesive -Decent size -Holes not noticed when you put pins in -Very light Cons: -Should be 6 for the price shown not 4 -Adhesive is so strong that if you put it on the wall, be sure that you don't want to take it down because it leaves Cork bits on the wall -Quite thin P.s. - Here's a small tip, if you want it on your wall and don't want it there permanently, put the boards in the positions that you wish on a flat surface (adhesive side up of course), get some paper and use the adhesive on the boards to stick them over the seems of each board then repeat for any empty spaces, then finally get yourself some large command strips (size + quantity depends on how many boards you use and how much you tend to pin on them, large is the most safest option) and stick them on paper in equal spaces, I.e. 4 corners etc.
