Review: Fantastic notemaker - I have yet to find a notemaker that competes with these. They are of phenomenal quality in all respects: Smooth, strong paper that just draws your pen through beautifully, no grating or scratching. Pages rip off effortlessly...no margins or pointless hole punches...just a nice whole page of wonderful quality ruled paper. The lines are perfectly spaced and the cover is thick for great protection in bags etc. Really recommend. The only thing I don't like is the cover design, but hey, you can't have everything. Go for it! These clairefontaine paper pads are possibly one of the nicest pads your will ever write on. The paper quality far exceeds anything else I have brought from WHSmith or Pukka or any other brand.

**Q: are these pads punched?**
A: Sorry these pads are not punched.

**Q: How many pages are in each book?**
A: There are 60 sheets which can be written on both sides, so: 60 sheets 120 pages.

**Q: What is the size of the page it has been removed from the binder?**
A: There is very little that is left on binder, I would say 2cm at the very most is all that is left behind when the page has been removed, however I have found that the page does come away from the binder very easily, sometime while you are writing.

**Q: How is the paper for fountain pen use?( ie show through, bleed through)**
A: These notebooks are actually made by Clairefontaine, which makes them a bit of a bargain. They work really well with even the wettest fountain pens, with no feathering or bleed through.

The lines are perfectly spaced and the cover is thick for great protection in bags etc. Really recommend. The only thing I don't like is the cover design, but hey, you can't have everything. Great A4 notebook. Lasts well with good sized margin. Spiral bound means it is easy to turn the page over, it does not get stuck at any point. Nice to write on as the paper is decent quality. Plenty of pages inside and I use it for university, one for each subject and have not filled one completely yet. A great price and have bought more since.
