I regularly heat Almond milk (Unsweetened) and get consistent results. The foam is not as dense as with cow's milk, but it is sufficiently frothy to make my almond milk cappuccinos an enjoyable weekend treat! **Q: Even the minimum amount of milk gives too much froth? Can you reduce the frothing time?** A: No, the amount of time is not adjustable. I use semi-skimmed milk and the machone never overflows; I suppose you just have to use a little less milk. Or stop the machine manually (though the milk won't be quite as hot). **Q: What is the minimum amount of milk for the appliance to work?** A: I have found around 200 to 300ml is about right otherwise it boils over **Q: Can this heat and froth enough oat milk for a good cup full, not just heat it?** A: Not sure, try it and see. Word of warning, my milk frother no longer frothing after four months, it now only warms the mik. Have ordered a new one from Ebay, Web enquiry states that the firm went into insolvency in 2019. Good-luck. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great price, easy to clean, almost silent and great bubbles! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 February 2018* Had a bit of a false start as the first one of these I received didn't work but as usual Amazon gave me a no hassle refund and the next one I received was perfectly fine. I have used this every day since I bought it - love it! The kids love the cold frothy milk for shakes - it really is frothy too! I love the hot frothy milk and the warm milk settings. The milk really does froth up and holds the bubbles - I use semi skimmed milk. You can heat enough milk on the warm function for 2 coffees and it takes no time at all and is practically silent. It's super easy to clean as long as you do it straight away. I use a soft bristle brush and just rinse it with warm water - just make sure you don't get the bottom wet! I spent a long time looking at various milk warmers/frothers and was not convinced that it would be easy to use and clean but I'm glad I picked this one. There are some really expensive ones out there and I'm not sure that you get any more than with this mid price model. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You will want hot chocolate everyday !!!!! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 January 2026* Bought this as we recently moved home . Firstly it is nicely compact with a black exterior , the milk frother works well with hot and cold milk , the amount of froth is impressive, this milk frother works well and looks stylish and modern in my kitchen , oh and my daughter loves it to create her hot chocolate milkshake! Overall a very good product ! Oh and it’s a dream to clean very well made .. try it u won’t be disappointed ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good piece of kit just wish it would get hotter. Works great foams brilliant. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 29 July 2025* Quite a noisy little machine, works as intended only gripe is that it doesn't make it hot enough, so have to keep on turning it back on when temp light goes out, again & again. And even then it's far from hot. Does produce excellent foam, not with all milks so do your checks. Coconut alternative not good, but nice, I find Barists Oat is the best for foaming. Still nice little piece of kit, not to big so easily put away or leave out on show. Value for money, well it does what is says so I'd say yes. Easy to clean as well. Now I'm the foam master so to speak. ## Frequently Bought Together - Andrew James Multi-Functional Electric Milk Frother & Milk Steamer, 500W 300ml 5 Functions 1 Touch Operation, Non-Stick, Hot Chocolate Heater, Milk Warmer Jug, Best Milk Frother for Coffee Hot Drinks - Knoops Luxury Hot Chocolate Flakes, 54% Dark Chocolate, Luxury Hot Cocoa, Vegan Treat with All Natural Ingredients | 250g (approx 7 servings) - Harris & James Drinking Chocolate | Smooth Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate Flakes 250g | Decadent Bean To Bar Hot Chocolate From Cocao Beans | Hand Made in Small Batches --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/47947816-electric-milk-frother-5-in-1-electric-milk-steamer-coffee](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/47947816-electric-milk-frother-5-in-1-electric-milk-steamer-coffee) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
