I ordered this product to connect my Lenovo Ideapad 710s plus laptop to a screen as it has no HDMI port. I am happy to confirm that it establishes a good connexion between the laptop's 3.1 USB Type C and an HDMI screen with the help of a standard HDMI cable.

Does what you expect. First time I've had a phone to TV like this. So I think for what you get together with the phones hardware its awsome.

Just the job
Great little gadget.It works with a Dell 7280 laptop allowing me to connect 2 screens with hdmi cables. A lot cheaper than a Docking station and more portable.
