I have 3b curly hair and personally didn't like how close the spines were - I like bigger clumps of curls = that's a me issue. Because, that aside, I loved the softness and flexibility of the spines and the brush fits nicely in the hand - it's very comfortable and feels great on the scalp and is easy to use. However, I found that this is an excellent brush for my cat! She's a fussy girl but she LOVES this! I've been looking for a silicone brush for my cat and because this one is so soft it doesn't overstimulate her (like metal brushes, or even other silicone ones!) It also collects ALL her fur because the spines are so close together! 4.5/5 as a comb (for my curly hair), 5/5 as a scalp massager, 6/5 as a cat brush 🤣

This feels so good on my scalp just hits all the right spots. I also use it sometimes for hair gel styling, really versatile item.

I have thick hair that gets oily very quickly. Due to the thickness of my hair, I was worried I wasn’t rinsing out all of my hair products effectively and ordered this to see if it helps. I can honestly say my scalp has never felt cleaner!! I am also a scalp picker (gross I know) however this is a much more hygienic way for me to scratch my scalp when the urge takes me. The bristles on this are sturdy, which is perfect for me as it feels like it’s properly scrubbing unlike some of the other scalp brushes out there. I use this to help massage my shampoo in, and it’s going to become a daily part of my showering routine!! It can also help with hair growth due to stimulating the hair follicles. Overall I would absolutely recommend this to add to your daily hygiene routine!

Good for my hair

I picked up the Jack Dean by Denman D6 as a low-friction way to improve shampoo distribution and reduce scalp irritation during washing, particularly on shorter hair where fingers tend to miss areas. In use, the palm-style design is genuinely practical. The rubberised body sits securely in the hand even when wet, and the nylon bristles have enough flex to work shampoo through the scalp without immediately pulling at the roots. It detangles lightly while rinsing conditioner and makes it easier to clean product buildup around the crown and nape. That said, the brush sits in an awkward middle ground between detangler and massager. The bristles are firmer than silicone alternatives, which may feel overly aggressive for sensitive scalps during longer sessions. Durability is also mixed; the hand strap is useful but feels like the weakest part of the construction over time. For the price, it performs well and simplifies shower routines, but it does not replace either a proper detangling brush or a dedicated scalp massager. It is competent rather than transformative.

Good to buy

This is insane, I’m still in shock. As a female with long thick hair I expect very little from products like this, but I thought I’d give it a shot. Recently I’ve been suffering from a lot of scabs and dry skin on my scalp, causing itching and bleeding, but of course, scratching is never enough. I had a suspicion that I was starting to struggle to wash my hair thoroughly enough or rinse it properly, so when I read about this in an article I thought it was worth a shot. And boy oh boy is it! The bristles are sturdy but flexible, sharp enough to scratch you scalp and lift dead skin but gentle enough not to cause bleeding. The handle did pop out during the more vigorous scrubbing but that’s nothing a spot of glue couldn’t fix. For thicker hair I found it was easier to lift sections and do it in layers because it did struggle to penetrate the whole way through at the back of my skull, but that’s far less than I have had to do with any other product. And as always, the evidence is in the water. I’m going to get gross for a second here. The water was legitimately brown. The brush had lifted all the gunk from my scalp with ease I haven’t had my roots feel this light and literally squeaky clean. I’m amazed and I will definitely be buying one for all my girlfriends! Can not recommend more.

Me encanta: distribuye perfectamente el champú por el cuero cabelludo y todo el largo del pelo sin crear enredos! He leído alguna queja sobre que es duro/agresivo con el cuero cabelludo; en mi caso no sólo no es así, sino que encuentro muy agradable el masaje que proporciona (supongo que dependerá de la sensibilidad de cada un@). Ideal para desenredar el pelo en los aclarados. Para mí, un producto de 10!!!

The quality of the bristles is excellent , they are very soft and hence don't hurt the scalp. These are perfectly suited for men and easy to set hair. The price is on a higher side but afterall it's DENMAN.

ja genau. Das dachte ich mir, als uns der Frisör meines Sohnes mit der Shampoobürste ankam. Der hatte keine von Denman, aber da ich auch auf die Denman Haarbürsten vertraue, weil ich mit denen schon sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht hab, wollte ich so was von Denman kaufen. Mein Sohn kriegt beim Frisör immer die Haare mit einer Shampoobürste shamponiert, und er schwärmte nur so davon. also wollte ich das auch zuhause mal testen. Bei Kurzhaarfrisuren ist die Bürste echt toll. Die schäumt das Shampoo gut auf, die Verteilung im gesamten Haar ist super einfach. Der Frisör meinte zu mir : " da werden die Haare ganz weich mit" JA - GENAU. Dachte ich mir, der muß das Ding ja anpreisen- klingt ja voll nach GEHEIMTIPP Aber es stimmt wirklich. Ich denke nicht, daß ich mir das einbilde. Mein Sohn hat kurzes, dichtes, ja fast "borstiges" Haar, dick und schwer kämmbar. Wenn ich dem die Haare naßmachen will, perlt das Wasser erstmal ab- aber mit der Bürste klappt auch das Nasswerden schneller als sonst. Mittlerweile benutze ich die Bürste auch, um die Haarkuren und Spülungen auf dem Kopf zu verteilen. Ich mag den Massageeffekt gern, es fühlt sich sehr angenehm an. Die Durchblutung der Kopfhaut wird angeregt. Und die Reinigung der Bürste ist das reinste Kinderspiel. Nur kurz unter heisses Wasser- trocknen lassen-# und bei gröberem Verschmutzungen ( aber das schafft man eigentlich gar nicht)# würde ich die Bürste in Spüli und heisses Wasser legen. Musste ich aber bisher noch nicht machen. Für Mütter und Kiddies ist es echt eine Erleichterung beim Shamponieren, weil Kinder das ja nicht immer unbedingt mögen. Was lange Haare betrifft, kann ich nur sagen, meine Tochter hat schulterlanges Haar, und benützt auch die Bürste. Sie ist damit zufrieden, sagt, die Haare verzwirbeln nicht - und sie mag den Massageeffekt. Natürlich benutzen wir nicht alle die gleiche, von uns hat jeder seine eigene Bürste. Aber keiner von uns würde die jetzt freiwillig hergeben- nie wieder ohne.
