Review: Very comfortable. - I did a 13 hr shift in these yesterday, I found them substantial and easy to wear. My feet were lovely and warm and well padded inside. I just haven’t worn them in the rain yet, so I don’t know if they are waterproof or not. But I’m extremely happy with them. So now I’ve been wearing them for a few days, on my 13 hour days and also nights. No discomfort, my feet are lovely and toasty, and I do suffer from freezing feet at this time of year. They are lovely and well worth the money.
Review: Excellent shoes if you have feet issues - I bought these shoes to be able to walk in them and also drive in them comfortably. These shoes are incredibly comfortable. They are wide enough to accommodate a bunion and supportive enough for fallen arches. I planned to buy replacement insoles but they are not needed - the included insoles are spot on. The fit was also spot on (size 6). The shoes lose one star as I've owned them for less than a month and I noticed one shoe has developed a tiny split in the fabric, just behind one side of the tongue. This makes me think that whilst they are very comfortable and supportive, I'm not convinced that they will last as long as I'd expect for the price I paid. Overall, I'd recommend these as the price was quite reasonable and for the level of comfort and support, I don't mind replacing them a bit more often.

**Q: are these guarenteeds**
A: Ive walked in them in all weathers and my feet have stayed dry .

**Q: Are these good on slippery surfaces?**
A: As good as any walking shoe I guess but if it's icy they wont stop you slipping. You need some snow grips you put over the sole to really prevent you sliding.

**Q: Size-wise,  l am 7.5, should  l go up a half size or a full size? I want to wear ordinary socks, not thick ones**
A: I’m size 3.5 but went for size 4, only ever wear with normal socks as they are my summer hiking shoes. Hope that helps

**Q: Do they have good grip on wet ground? I had some Karrimor trainers once (not walking shoes), and it felt like I was on ice when it rained.**
A: I have had 4 pairs of the Isla walking shoes and found them really good for grip and so comfortable. Therefore decided to try the walking boots and found them to be just as good and very comfortable from the start. Previously I have had more expensive Merrill boots and shoes- these are less than half the price and just as good, if not better. Walking I have done in these boots includes Pembroke shire Coastal path, Lake District and North Yorkshire moors and coastal paths. Only buy this style -Isla- as found other styles of Karrimoors uncomfortable. Personally for me they have been good

These are my favourite walking shoes. They are comfortable and a good fit. They are waterproof which, if you live in west Scotland is what one needs to wear most of the time.
