The first thing that struck me about the 1More Triple Drivers was the packaging. I don’t normally comment on packaging mainly because there usually isn’t much to say about it. But, as others have said, 1More have really gone to town here. It’s some of the highest quality I have come across. Great graphics, well thought out presentation, and very high quality materials. They have been unusually generous with what you get. There is one of those double jack airline plugs, a metal clip, a manual, a very impressive solid leather like case, and the biggest selection of ear tips that I have come across. There really ought to be one to suit anyone. Unusually for me – because I have different sized and shaped ears – the ones prefitted are perfect for me. The cable is of Kevlar fibre (apparently). It feels tough and is unlikely to tangle – or at least very much. I just have to look at a cable for it to end up in a complete mess, but I’m hopeful about this. On the right hand cable there is the control module. This is one of the few less successful aspects of this because, like most manufacturers, they have put it too high up the cable and too close to the ear. As it feels very smooth and because you can’t see it, it is difficult to know which button you are pressing. There is a slight amount of cable noise, but not too disruptive. They are very easy to fit in my ears, and they are very comfortable. I can hardly feel that they are there. Very unusually at this price point, they have installed three drivers (the clue is in the name). There are two balanced armatures to handle the mids and highs and a dynamic driver for the lows. I have always been conflicted about the ‘burn in’ issue. Some say that you don’t get the best out of earphones until they have been used for a certain number of hours. I prefer to think that it is more that your ears need to get used to the sound signature. Whichever, they do change over time. I have only recently bought these, so my opinion may change, but so far I am very impressed. All three drivers work well. The bass is surprisingly powerful, the mids have good presence and the highs don’t ‘crackle’ or ‘sizzle’. These easily compare and compete - successfully - with in ears that are much more expensive.

I’m a nerd! I collect IEM’s. Inexpensive ones at that. Constantly on the lookout for audio nirvana for under £50. In my collection I have some real gems. When Amazon offered the 1More Triple Driver earphones for £46 on a limited time deal deal. I wasted no time securing my order. After all these things usually cost around ninety quid and have more accolades and awards than Tom Hanks. Widely regarded by many audiophiles as the best wired earphones under £100 I needed to see what all the fuss was about. I’ve been bitten by the hype bug before and been well and truly stung! The Sony MDR EX650’s spring to mind. What Hi-Fi award winners 2014? I don’t think so! So I took all the praise the 1More Triple Driver’s have been given with a pinch of salt. That said, First impressions are good. Very good in fact. The packaging the Triple Driver’s arrived in was gorgeously designed. The box looks like a book or binder with a magnetic catch. Once opened I was greeted to a selection of silicone and memory foam ear tips. A cable clip, airline adapter and a sumptuous leather carry case. The artwork on the inside of the box is truly fabulous making this product look luxurious. Oh and there was the IEM’s too! I almost forgot about the most important thing in the box. The earbuds are made from sturdy metal and plastic with a functional and flowing design. In rose gold the 1More’s look expensive. Sadly the cable is fixed. No detachable monitors here which could be a problem if the cable fails or breaks. The inline remote is simple to control and we get an ‘L’ shaped 3.5mm jack. They fit snugly in the ear especially with the shallow foam tips which create a good seal and noise isolation. So with the aesthetics out of the way what about the most important factor, Sound quality? As aforementioned I collect IEM’s and I can honestly say that after twenty minutes of testing the 1More Triple Driver’s have shot to the top of the pile. After several hours I was smitten. These things sound absolutely amazing. Believe the hype! The 1More’s are Hi Res capable with a healthy frequency range hitting lofty heights of 20-40000Hz. There’s also certification from THX which is rather impressive. The mostly balanced sound quality is a treat for the ears. Audio reproduction is handled efficiently. Fine nuances in your favourite tracks will come to the forefront giving old favourites a new sense of vigour. I say mostly balanced because bass is subtly elevated giving satisfying punch. Oh my god these things sound good. I paid £46! Triple the price these would still be punching above their weight. Vocals are delivered with authority. Mids and highs are clear. The use of the triple drivers allow each frequency to shine. The 1More Triple Driver’s can’t quite match TIN HI-FI T2’s for balance but they pack more oomph. I thought the KZ ZS10 Pro’s had a fantastical bright top end. The 1More’s are crisper. Every single IEM I have in my collection can’t compete with the 1More Triple Driver’s for flexibility. The rounded and capable BLON BL03’s are left crying in the dirt. There’s a new king. All hail the Triple Driver’s from 1More. Sure it would have been a closer contest if the 1More’s was at full price but on offer at £46 they’re unbeatable. I would put them up against my £140 BOSE IEM’s and say the Triple Driver’s are better! I’m not kidding they really are that good. If you’re a collector then you need these in your collection. If you’re someone who just wants a pair of good earphones and are willing to pay then these are pound for pound the best IEM’s I have had the pleasure to stick in my lugs! A must buy...

Sound quality: quite good. Not as good as the studio monitor headphones I use, but then I didn't think they would be. The sound is detailed, fairly well balanced, but on some tracks is a little biased towards the higher frequencies, leaving it sounding a little flat, but I have only tested with MP3s and from straight out of the package with no burn in. If you're only playing MPs from mobile phones and tablets/laptops, then the sound quality is quite adequate and why spend much more money than for these? They come with many different sized tips which go over the ear piece and provides the sealing of the ear canal and friction to keep the ear piece in the ear. The size of the tip makes a big difference to the sound quality, so when you open up the package and try these for the first time, you will need to experiment with different tips to find the best quality sound, which is right for you, your ear size and shape. The presentation of the packaging is stunning, it's gorgeous, but let's remember, you shouldn't care about the packaging! In the packaging is also a nice case and a 2 pin, 2 poles per pin adapter for using the headphones on an aeroplane. There's also a tie clip which you can attach to the cable to enable it to be fastened to a tie or shirt. Worth commenting, the 3.5mm plug on the end of the cable is 4 pole, yes, 4 pole, not 3. The 4th pole is evidently for the microphone, now whether that causes any problems on what are solely stereo outputs (3 poles: Left, Right, Ground) I do not know. The packaging is definitely worth keeping because it keeps all the various bits together.

I’m basing the 5 star score purely on the sound quality of these headphones for the associated cost, ‘cos let’s face it, that’s the most important part! I had owned a pair of Shure SE420’s for many many years, but recently they finally failed on me when the cable started causing intermittent interference and breakup. These were an expensive pair of headphones when I purchased them and a replacement in the same kind of category would also be expensive, however, I had always been extremely happy with the sound quality they gave me. After reading some reviews for 1MORE headphones, I decided they would be worth a punt, and I was not disappointed by the results. When I first tried them on using the default plastic pads they really sounded pretty awful, simply because there was absolutely no lower frequency sounds getting into my ears at all. Changing the pads to some that properly fit however (the memory foam ones) and it’s a totally different story, I was very impressed. What immediately struck me was the level of bass response. I had read quite a few reviews suggesting the bass was not too powerful but quite well balanced. This wouldn’t be too much of an issue for me, as the previous pair of Shure headphones were similar in that respect, and I would often use an EQ to boost it a little. These headphones however undoubtedly offer more bass than those Shure headphones ever did, and fairly substantially more too! I have no need to use an EQ at all, and I’m very happy with the bass response of them. For my ears, the rest of the frequency range produced sounds excellent, and in the mid to upper ranges I’d say they are totally on par with my old Shure headphones. So given the overall improvement for me personally in bass response, but with matching mid to upper range, I’d rate the sound quality better than my Shure’s, and at a cheaper cost. That for me gives it the 5 stars. I think the packaging is fantastic, my only gripes with the product as a whole are pretty minor. I personally would liked to have been able to purchase a pair that were not specifically designed for use with a mobile phone so that I don’t have any compatibility issues with other audio devices by virtue of the fact that it has a microphone section on the plug (the 3rd black circle). There is also some noise from the wires itself when you move about, and I found the clip that comes with it is not that useful as it’s just a very tight metal thing that does clip to a shirt, but you’ll have a hard time securing it to other items of clothing. The carry pouch is a very nice addition, it’s just a shame the lid doesn’t actually close on it with some kind of fastener or magnet. Like I say though, very minor gripes in an otherwise excellent product. Highly recommended! I have separately purchased the Comply tips to go with these. If you happen to go to their website it will advise you to purchase the “600 Series”, yet, I could not find this product. The 500 series fit perfectly for anyone who’s interested in those.

I really want to give these 5 stars...but I can't. Let's start with the good points. I'm as much of an audiophile as I am an oenophile: I can explain what I like about audio equipment as well as I can describe what I like about a bottle of wine: I know what I like and what I don't, and that's about the sum of it. So, with that in mind I can say I absolutely love the sound of these IEMs. I have them coupled to a decent DAC (Oppo HA-2 SE) and the sound the pair make together is fantastic. If you want a more in-depth technical analysis of why they are so good I'd point you to reviews written by professionals, they will be able to explain why in much more technical terms than I ever can. I spend most of my day at work listening to music, so I wanted a decent quality sound and on this front I think they really do deliver. They sound great, they look fairly understated and the quality of the packaging and additional items you get with them is wonderful...up to a point. Which leads me onto the bad points. You are supplied with a number of different size tips in both silicone and foam. They are presented well and you have lots of size options. Unfortunately they are all terrible. Like 'not fit for purpose' terrible. The silicone tips at first glance look like any other tip, however the moulding quality is just not up to scratch. It seems like the moulding tool closing pressure was not sufficient and as such you are left with a ring of sharp flash material around the outside. Unfortunately, this happens to be exactly where the tip contacts with your ear canal. I didn't buy heavy, over the ear headphones as I want to wear these for 6-7 hours a day; currently I can only stand these for an hour or so. They are uncomfortable and irritating and it is the same for all the sizes supplied. I took them off an hour or so ago and have still got the unpleasant sensation of where they were in my ear. I have a similar problem with the expanding foam tips. They are slightly better than the silicone offerings, but they still don't feel completely comfortable. I am usually happy with silicone tips, so have never tried these expanding foam ones before. I don't think I'm going to go out of my way to try any others. They feel quite rough in the ear canal, and again are not something I would like to wear for any extended period of time. So, three stars. If they didn't sound so good and weren't presented so well I wouldn't have been so dissapointed. The tips are the cheapest and the easiest thing to produce (I have plenty of experience with injection moulding tooling), so I am surprised that they have failed so badly. I have emailed 1MORE to find out if I have just been sent tips from a bad manufacturing run. If they get back to me I may update my rating. However, they aren't going back. They may be flawed but I like them too much. Argh, it's like buying a fast car that has an uncomfortable seat...or loving someone that hurts you.

I was looking forward to these, as my ears are quite sensitive to the music detail and sound richness, and aside from some expensive sets, nothing quite did the trick. I use a Samsung Galaxy device with various audio apps and enhancements, and up until now I found the original wired Apple airbuds to be the best affordable set, albeit the hideous white cable, the questionable ear stability and worst of all longevity - I destroy about 3 pairs per year. I am a heavy user - spending most of my waking hours with headphones in my ears, due to my work/life style. The 1More triple drivers set is practically excellent, save a couple of minor details: My favourite features: sound! Rich balanced finely textured sound. Construction quality: the metal bits are just excellent to hold and handle. Such marvelous workmanship. The cable has a textile feel up until the metal splitter, which makes it a lovely finger wrapping fidget toy. The choice of insertion rubbers and foams guarantees a secure insertion fit into ears whatever sizes, as one would expect. A really nice touch to provide foams or rubbers as a choice of categories. At 11mm, my ears feel wonderfully filled, shut off from noise, yet pleasantly relaxed without any tiredness after hours of listening. Ah, comfort. These will definitely stay in, if you were to run or exercise as well. Things I find fine, but not spectacular: the 90 degree jack - it's pleasant to handle, but since the cable gets twisted all the time, it's easier to turn the cable by unplugging instead of by twisting the plug in the phone body. This is inconvenient whilst on a phonecall. The packaging - it seems like a very luxurious and over-the-top packaging worth of a gift item. But in this day and age of excessive use of plastics and other materials, surely a more modest and nature-friendly version would suffice and be more impressive. The clip included is of questionable use. It's a metal little clip, quite harsh and narrow to be used on the cable to secure the cable to anything, so other uses of it elude me. The case for the headphones is a lovely cigarette holder-like case, should be fine to stash bits and bobs, if not the headphones themselves. However, the use of a magnet in its closure will likely need to be observed to be kept away from a wallet with credit cards, and suchlike. Otherwise, extremely well done, 1More folks. Keep them coming!

For years I'd been using fairly low-range headphones, the type in the £20-£30 mark, but with a new job I decided to splash out and buy these nice expensive 1MORE headphones. At first I was impressed, the case was very stylish whilst the headphones themselves had a very good sound and I enjoyed them for the first few months, but then problems began. The first issue occurred after around 2-3 months of ownership I noticed that the cloth outer layer around the chord was thin and fraying, it didn't take long for it to tear apart completely and leave the exposed rubber inner wire showing, with the two halves of the cloth outer layer completely separate. Annoying, I thought, but just a minor cosmetic problem really so I kept using them. Around a month after the first problem, the second one appeared. Very occasionally at first, I would notice sound dropping out of the left headphone for a fraction of a second, maybe once every minute or so, but over time this got worse and before long I was just having to deal with not having any sound in the left headphone the majority of the time, with occasional periods of sound now and again. At this point I probably should have complained but I don't like to make a fuss. Today was the last straw however, as I went to put on my headphones and found that the right headphone had split into two parts, exposing the inner wiring and mechanism of the headphone, rendering neither headphone usable. I'd have been very annoyed if this had occurred with the cheapish headphones I mentioned at the start of the review but these are meant to be high-end, top-quality ones and so for them to break so easily and in so many different ways is completely unacceptable. Judging by other reviews for this product these problems seem to be common and so I would definitely avoid buying these headphones if you can.

Where do I start?..... Even if I was able to isolate and articulate what I hear through these Triple Driver headphones into 'audiophile-jargon' ...I wouldn't. I also couldn't start to talk about the science or technology behind these headphones, even if I wanted to! - So consider yourself double-lucky! Obviously I don't consider myself as an audiophile...but I do appreciate lossless and hi-res music (always avoid compressed music) and I know what sounds good. And these are FANTASTIC HEADPHONES ! Love them! Ever since the days of the old orange-sponge Sony Walkman on-ear headphones (showing my age, if any of you remember those!), I have always been a fan of 'over-ear' or 'on-ear' headphones. After all, my trail of thought regarding in-ear headphones was always along the lines of "..look at the size of them tiny little buggers! How can something with 'speakers' so small be anywhere as good as these M*F*r's with giant speakers that go over your ears?!!?". Not quite those words, but you get my drift. Therefore, I've considered IEM's (in-ear headphones) with little interest, never taking them too seriously and confining them to 'convenience' and 'travel use' only. Usually just sticking with the free in-ear ones that would come with a mobile phone, iPod, etc. All that changed when I finally ditched the iPod and recently purchased a hi-res portable music player. So, maybe it was about time I went upmarket with a set of new in-ear headphones to compliment the portable music player? Why not. After two days researching, short-listing, etc - I landed on these 1More Triple Drivers. If you are in a similar position of choosing a decent set of IEM's - then let me save you the time & trouble.... If you like what you see in the photos and like the style of ear buds - then you will NOT be disappointed in build quality or sonically! I'm not privileged enough to have tried out any expensive in-ear monitors, but from what I've read in professional reviews, these 1More Triple Drivers are rated on par with other in-ear headphones that cost 2-4x times the price. Having heard them, I can believe the hype! At home I normally listen to a set of over-ear Sennheisers that cost more than 3x the price of these 1More IEM's - I'm finding myself hard pushed to decide which I prefer! Makes me wonder how good the 1More Quad Drivers sound! I therefore do feel privileged for having lucked out first time in choosing something of this price range (BTW, these are more than double of what I've ever paid for in-ear headphones in the past) - but also for being taught a long over due lesson regarding IEM sound quality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR SONICS AND BUILD QUALITY.... not to mention TOP MARKS for included accessories! Thank you 1More. 'Nuff Said!

Quando comprei esses fones fiz uma primeira avaliação aos poucos dias, falando maravilhas deles. Bom, agora já passaram-se alguns meses de uso e vou atualizar essa avaliação. E o seguinte, depois de muitas horas diária curtindo meus 1more, só posso não só confirmar minha primeira avaliação, mas aumentar ela. A cada dia esses aparelhos melhoram um pouco mais. Não experimentei outros fones nos últimos anos desses que chamam high top, tipo Bosé, Sony, etc. Nem precisso. Me conheço muito bem, e duvido muito que nenhum aparelho possa ficar nem perto das sensações que me dam meus 1more evo. Já tive na vida muitos artículos considerados de luxo: relógios tag Heuer, carros alfa romeo, e por aí. Jamais, nunca até fiz uma compra tão satisfatória como está. Paguei 548R$ por esses fones. Se tivesse pagado 5480, ainda continuaria achando que paguei barato.

The biggest question in your mind would be "Is it worth the money?". The answer to that, in short is yes. Now to the "why" part. If you look at other good earphones brands like audio technica or shure, their balanced armature earphones are quite expensive. So in a way these are inexpensive for what they are offering. I have multiple earphones from multiple different brands (most expensive one being the shure se215) and all of them have different sound signature. Some are more bass focused (like the shures and bose) while some are more balanced (like soundmagic e80c), these earphones are the perfect blend of both the worlds. They are neither too bright nor too warm. Highs are crisp and at the same time buttery smooth. Mids are ample with excellent vocal clarity. And bass is just mind blowing. The biggest advantage of having 3 drivers is that none of them are overwhelmed by the frequencies they need to reproduce. The bass is tight and would make you feel like you are listening to a high end music system with a sub woofer. Sound seperation is good but what was surprising was the sound stage. Its just too good for an earphone. The build quality is something that other brands could learn from 1more (especially B&O with their H3 earphones). Its all solid metal and the wire is braided so no tangling. One con would be the bore size. Its quite big and the earpieces are heavy too. So if you have a small ear canal opening you might find it tough to plug these in (I'm posting a picture for comparison, the other earphones is the shure se215). As such, there is no discomfort for me even when listening for long hours. All in all, I would highly recommend these earphones if you can afford it. Normally I would provide an cheaper option with same performance in this statement of the review but unfortunately I can't think of any other product which can provide a comparable performance with lesser price, so thats quite a testament to these earphones. Quando ho ricevuto il pacco ed ho aperto la confezione sono rimasto subito incantato dalla cura del packaging e dal fatto che il produttore spingesse terribilmente per dare la sensazione di star spacchettando un gioiello. Mi son chiesto il come mai di tanto pompaggio nell’esperienza di unboxing e la risposta è arrivata quando le ho collegate al mio iPhone e ho capito che avrei fatto la recensione di un paio di cuffie, non auricolari. Sì perché lasciando perdere il meraviglioso unboxing e gli utili accessori presenti nella confezione, la vera magia arriva quando le posizionate nelle orecchie e inizia la musica. Controllo. 1more cerca con queste cuffie di avere un controllo totale dell’esperienza di utilizzo del prodotto andando a mettere la ciliegina sulla torta proprio sulla vera funzionalità degli auricolari, ovvero l’ascolto della musica. Un ascolto professionale garantito dal triplo driver dinamico brevettato realizzato con metallo di tipo aerospaziale custodito all’interno di due strati di PET, un particolare polimero molto resistente. NO, NON SONO SEMPLICI CUFFIE, Il suono è pulito e molto definito. Davvero molto definito. La separazione tra gli strumenti musicali si sente, eccome. Andate ad ascoltare lo stesso brano con un paio di cuffiette e poi con queste: Sembreranno 2 canzoni differenti. Anche il bilanciamento è eccezionale, nessuna frequenza viene esagerata, e si potrà godere del suono esattamente così come viene prodotto dagli strumenti. Questo non è necessariamente un vanto, nel senso che se siete i tipi che amate i bassi corposi o siete fan della musica elettronica o hip pop allora non fanno al caso vostro, ma se amate tutti gli altri generi musicali e volete una riproduzione estremamente dettagliata, naturale e precisa, allora sono il TOP. L’utente medio al quale sono destinati questi auricolari è un utente audiofilo che non vuole spendere molto o un utente normale che ama la musica, vuole sentirla come si deve ed è disposto a spendere quasi un centinaio di euro in un paio di auricolari che solo per la qualità della musica che riproducono, ne valgono almeno il doppio. Mi sono concentrato a parlare del suono perché quando le ho provate per la prima volta sono rimasto così scioccato dalla qualità di suono erogato da un paio di auricolari che non riuscivo a toglierli: continuavo a cambiare traccia per riscoprire i miei brani preferiti.Esteticamente sono ben costruiti. Come di consueto per 1more, il design è ricercato e i materiali usati e le rifiniture dei dettagli lasciano ancora a bocca aperta. Il corpo in alluminio e il è cavo in kevlar, anche se stavolta, a differenza delle Piston Classic tutto il cavo è resistente e robusto, dal jack all’auricolare. Telecomando con 3 pulsanti e microfono MEMS in linea di trasmissione separata per evitare interferenze, il tutto compatibile con iOS e android. Ho fatto alcune prove del microfono durante le chiamate ed effettivamente sembra essere di buona qualità. Chi mi ascoltava non ha notato la differenza tra microfono delle cuffie quello integrato nello smartphone. La forma particolare obliqua è elegante ma è studiata apposta per aumentare l’ergonomia degli stessi e farli adattare meglio alla forma delle orecchie. Usate per l’80 con il mio iPhone con la qualità che vi ho annunciato prima, appena le ho collegate al Dac sono letteralmente esplose. Qualità mostruosa. Vabbe’ ma stavolta la scheda audio esterna c’ha lasciato lo zampino. Quindi ricapitoliamo: Esperienza di spacchettamento egregia Presenza di accessori che ne accrescono il valore e ne aumentano la comodità. Praticamente ci sono gommini auricolari per ogni dimensione di condotto uditivo. Qualità dei materiali alta come del resto tutti i prodotti del brand e durabilità garantita dal kevlar (che sarebbe quello dell’armatura di batman, tanto per intenderci.. ). Che dire di più?
