Appears well made does the job on small stack
Very handy, sturdy and easy to use. Only a few pages at a time. If you pull them they will come apart. They appear to be well made dot know the longevity of it though

Does what it says on the tin
I like that this fastens papers together without running out of staples! For that, it’s brilliant. It only works on 3 or 4 pages at the most, but it does tell you that. It doesn’t claim to be heavy duty. For me though, I don’t like that it only works on the very edge of the paper. It would be better (I think anyway) for the papers to be able to feed in a little further. It would make it feel more secure. Other than that, it fulfils what it says.

Waste of money
It has taken a while to arrive and whilst it is robust it is a little disappointing. It does staple 4 sheets of paper by crimping them together at the corner but it is only a very small area that is crimped so doesn't stay 'stapled' together for long. A nice idea and would be better if a larger area is crimped. Very expensive for what it achieves. Wouldn't recommend.

Don't waste your money
This item does not work at all. Firstly, you can only 'staple' 2 bits of paper, secondly you can't push the paper in far enough and thirdly, if it does link the pages, they very easily come apart. If I could I would have given it no stars.

Sturdy, ground-breaking crimper
It's sturdy, heavy even, does what is promised. I tried "stapling" a corner of a stack of five A4's and it was good. The crimp marks can be smoothed out with care. Also, I experimented and created tiny five-sheet leaflets and booklets, crimping together the entire length of a side of a stack. Also, one can create a sweet little envelope with this, just cut two pieces of paper into any shape you like and crimp their edges together to create a custom gift package to surprise and amaze your friends and family. The absence of ugly metal staples allows for such tidy creativity! Be aware though, five appears to be the maximum for stack of sheets to be crimped together.

Oh my goodness I love this wee stapler.
This stapler is great and I love using it. It is absolutely perfect for glassine bags and other thin paper. You do have to make sure that the paper is fully into the slot before pressing to 'fix' your paper together but that really is no hardship.

Design Flaw
As a stapleless stapler, it does work - you can bind together up to 5 sheets of paper reasonably securely. And then separate them easily if you pull along the seam. So it's best for times when you only need to attach papers temporarily; that's why I bought this model. On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend it for any important documents and as I said, nothing consisting of more than 5 thin sheets. However, there is a major design flaw with this stapler which just makes it infuriating to use. You slot about an inch of your papers into the mouth of the stapler, but only the very edge is stapled. The diagram on the back actually specifies 2mm between the crimp and the edge of the paper. 7mm if you staple a corner(!) There is almost no leeway. You MUST make sure your papers are perfectly aligned on top of each other, and then push them in to the very end of the stapler if you even want a part of the crimping to work. I also find that I can almost never do it properly if I hold it in my hand - I have to have it flat on a table. I don't understand why they designed this in such a way. If they even moved the crimping mechanism just 0.5cm closer towards the mouth of the stapler, then it would be much more effective and it wouldn't take me 3 or 4 tries every single time I wanted to staple together two little bits of paper.

This product is unique in Canada (meaning I have never seen it before for sale here). I was skeptical of its utility; however, after using it to attach bits of paper together that you want to keep together but don't want to have the associated bulk of a metal stapler, this worked exceptionally well. I have tried it with up to 6 sheets of approx 15 lb paper and it worked fine; despite the fact that it is only rated for 5 sheets. The device is heavy with a plastic cover with metal internals and handle. It is from Japan but made in China. The quality is very good. I use it to attach those flimsy bits of receipts together and regular 2 page statements together. The crimped paper hold is tight and creases the paper. It does not cut the paper. The depth (how deep it will go into the paper) is not a lot and maximum only about 2-3 mm but for my purposes it is GREAT.

J aime beaucoup cette agrafeuse qui ne contient pas d agrafes. Elle marque/pince les feuille de papier pour les accrocher ensemble. C est donc super, + écologique et permet un gain de place dans les classeurs.

According to an instruction this staple-free stapler works very well with up to 5 sheets of paper (tried 6 and worked also well. Just harder to take them out from the jaws of this device). There are bigger devices for bonding more documents. As the Japanese instruction on the package shows and says, best way to press paper together is to insert paper corners not the sides. It works well indeed. Also there are very small guide lines on this device for inserting "corners". Either way, corners or sides, it has to be inserted precisely. Short practice is enough to feel which way is best for you. When precisely pressed, documents are bond firmly. If multiple documents bonded this way are stacked together, they almost don't make this firm bulge as it would be with metal staples. Bond is strong but easy enough to detach in convenient way. After detaching a sheet of paper from the rest of documents a tiny part ot the paper is ripped off. This device is not a 100% substitute for strong metal staples. I my case I was looking for such a device because: I can detach in very convenient way one sheet of paper and live rest of documents to my client. No additional staples which I would have to remove anyway. No garbage, No problem with paper shredder. One more thing, there are other clever staple-free staples (presses) but this Harinacs patent makes flat bonds unlike other when they kind of loop the paper on to hole. Maybe they are stronger but they make this bulge if multiple documents are stacked together. Both have pluses and minuses. Anyway these Japanese designers rules:)

This is a fantastic niche product, not meant to replace a regular stapler. That said, it’s a fantastic for someone like me, who always has paper sheets with notes - and doesn’t want to pin-staple them. Don’t buy it as a replacement a buy it if you want to keep a few papers attached - for yourself. Not for official documents. Love it for keeping my to do lists in order!
