i've used it for two years now and it works great. i use it to finely sift potting soil to make seed starting soil, removing all the bigger pieces that the potting soil companies let thru that would hinder tiny seeds. it's still in perfect shape, no rust, no deformities in the mesh. i'm very happy with it.

I use this whenever im putting together a cactus mix. Its a great quality item that sifts the soil to remove all the big chunks that i dont want in the soil mix. I thought the price was great. I honestly dont know if ill ever go without one again. BTW dont use the cactus and succulent soil mix if living in the south. It holds to much moisture. 50% sifted soil and 50% pearlite works great.

I bought this to take to the beach for sea shells, the one I bought was too big of holes to catch the tiny shells, but it was able to get the ones that is the size of a pea, the size of this strainer is just right, I wish it had handles, it's not that heavy, the quality is very sturdy, sturdier than the hand scooper I got and the sand goes right though

This sifter works wonders with reclaiming soil for my garden beds. When I need to remove sod from edging, I can separated grass, weeds, stones, and old mulch pieces quickly. Here's a tip: I use a 5-gallon bucket for this job, and cut a hole in the lid to fit the sifter! Makes the job SO EASY and re-distributing the cleaned soil is simple. LOVE IT!

Nothing wrong with this item. I use it to rinse the slurry off of tumbled rocks and it works beautifully
