the six cup if your lucky will make 2 mugs and is perfect for 1 just half fill for myself and works no problem hope this helps

How many ml in 6 cup Bialetti?

650ml. This is equivalent to two decent regular sized mugs of coffee as we like strong coffee. Or will serve 6 small demi-tasse.

After several months of working well, my stainless steel pot became glowing red hot on the base & now won't work on my induction hob

I think you left the heat on after all the water had gone from the lower tank ie. boiled it dry. My instructions say to turn off heat when the water boils, the accumulated pressure will drive all the water into the upper tank.

I have been bought this for my B'day & have managed to lose the instructions before using. I just need the English ones if anyone can help,

Sorry - no longer have the instruction leaflet. However am pretty sure that it made a point of not tamping down the coffee grounds before brewing up. Apart from that it is very straightforward ie fill with cold water to just below the safety valve on the side of the bottom part. Insert the coffee holder, fill with coffee to about 2/3rds,check that the filter and washer are in place then marry the top part to the bottom part and screw it up tightly - taking care not to put any weight on the handle whilst you are doing this. Put it on the heat source, turn the heat down once the coffee starts coming through etc. Hope this helps - enjoy!
