Very much enjoy the taste of this. A little goes a long way! I wanted to move away from my usual porridge with honey/ chocolate as I have a sweet tooth and have always depended on sugar rush to help me keep up with my son with ADHD. I was worried about not liking the taste but it was easy to swap over to this. At first you wonder if there's enough in the pack, but once hot water is added it takes up 2-3x the space of the porridge powder. I don't get sugar cravings and I definitely feel more full for longer. Would recommend.

Really tasty. I add skimmed milk and some brown sugar sprinkled on. Love this. Cook in pan in 5 mins rather than as says. Makes it smoother

I have been having difficulties with slight lightheaded shakiness when I only have a Shake or Meal Bar for breakfast (and no, I'm not diabetic), so I have been chewing on a snack bar with my breakfast Shake, as part of my 3 snacks per day. This has helped, but I thought that I would try the Golden Syrup Porridge as my snack, to go with the Shake, and it does seem to be offsetting the lightheaded shakiness. I don't consider the porridge on its own to be sufficient for a meal replacement, but it IS within the calorie range to act as a snack (and the packaging suggests that it is a snack). Yes, it's a modest portion size, and yes, made with water it doesn't look particularly appetising - but hey, the idea is to lose weight, and I've lost 10lbs in my first two weeks on Slimfast, so as long as it works I'll stick with it. I love the variety of products available, and I love having the generous 600 calorie main meal to look forward to.I actually have two "Non-Diet Days" each week (Wednesday and Sunday), but I find that I'm not bingeing on those days, because I'm not really depriving myself all that much on the "Diet Days" - and I don't want to undo the good work that I've done on the Diet Days. It just means that I can have toast for breakfast, maybe with an egg or two!! I have a lot of weight to lose, so I'm in this for the long haul, and as long as I can have some of my usual foods once or twice a week, I'm content to carry on with the Slimfast regime. I couldn't have done this diet while I was working, but it does fit in with my lifestyle now that I have retired.My only disappointment with Slimfast is that they don't manufacture soups. I really enjoy having soup for lunch, so I have been having a meal replacement soup from another slimming product range (which contains around the same calories as a Shake or Meal Bar). Coupled with a pack of Slimfast savoury snacks it is a very fulfilling lunch - or evening meal if I've had my main meal midday.

Nice flavour

I am currently trying to lose weight so am following SlimFast where I replace my snacking with these.The porridge is mixed with water, and the flavour is something I cannot explain. The reason for this taste is due to the fact that it has no added sugar, and if you are putting sugar in it then you are just adding more calories. It has taken a while but I am used to these now. Occasionally I will add some 'Skinny Golden Syrup' to mask the odd taste a little. Losing weight isn't easy, but these have started to help with the hunger cravings and making better swaps in my diet.Overall these are nice, the taste good and I am enjoying them. I would recommend these if you are trying to replace normal snacks with something containing lower calories (99cal).
