Panasonic ER-GN30-K503 Nose, Ear & Facial Hair Wet and Dry Trimmer with Vortex Cleaning System

I started using this the day it was delivered, and i used it in front of one of those magnified mirrors and i have to say that I'm impressed with how good it works!I no longer have to stand there for ages using tweasers (or trying to grab the hairs with my fingernails) to rip out nose hairs, this does the job in seconds. I can now also get rid of those annoying single hairs that pop up from random parts of my ears every once in a blue moon!I noticed other reviewers say the business end of this gets 'hot' (or warm) well, i think it would just depend on how you are when it comes to heat toleratance. I wouldn't allow that to put you off from buying this. I didn't let it put me off, and I'm glad that i didn't because to me it only gets a little warm.Now here's the thing, even if it did get uncomfortably warm for me, the fact that I'm only having to use it for a few seconds in each nostril means it's not bad at all. So think about it along those lines and you'll probably figure like i did and just buy it anyway. For what it does, and how fast it does it, i say this little device is well worth it.I also noticed some reviewers say that it 'pulled' on their hairs, well, i did feel one or twi hairs be pulled, but that was only at the start of the process and only lasted like a split second. It wasn't even sore at all, it was just atiny blip of a sensation and it was over. It didn't last long enough for me to even care about it. So even with that, don't let it put you off. It's the same with using a regular manual razer head, I've felt the blades grip on some hairs but it's over so quickly it never bothered me. It's like blinking it's over so fast.Anyway, with Christmas coming up, why not buy one of these for your father and grandfather?! Make their lives a little easier. It'd certainly be a good little filler present for them. I'm also thinking women would be happy to get one of these because it really does get rid of those tiny annoying hairs that just pop up on random places on your ears. I bought this for trimming ear hair. I don't need to use it for nose, beard or eyebrow which this device can also be used for, so I can't comment on those uses.This is my first trimmer and didn't really know what to expect.Thankfully it's very easy to use in the ear and doesn't require too much brain power, but don't expect the 158 page manual to be any help either. It's not awkward to hold or manoeuvre. There is no hidden technique just get on with it.Results are good and surprisingly smooth. Better than the trimmer at my local hair dressers, that one always leaves my ears with a prickly feel. I just thought I had very thick ear hair.Seems easy to clean and you have 3 ways to do it, water wash, jet wash, or simply the cleaning brush.What's in the box? The trimmer itself with a protective cap, a cleaning brush, a 158 page manual (9 pages in English) coupled with a 76 page guarantee (1 page in English). Those both weigh more than the device itself.Finally the item description claims this to be a "Wet and Dry" trimmer. Nowhere on the box or in the manual does it mention that this can be used in the shower, with a wet face or with any creams etc... The model I received was ER-GN30-K (don't know where the 503 went). The mention of water is for cleaning. What's more annoying is the UK Panasonic website (at time of writing) has no information about this model. So I wouldn't buy this if you wanted to use it in the shower, I don't need to just for ear hair.Overall it's easy to use, easy to clean, good results and a very good price.

OK device but penny pinching not to include a battery.

It is a cruel irony that of all the parts of the male body that should continue to grow in later life, it turns out to be not the part most would vote - indeed beg - for, but rather nasal hair. And ear hair. And eyebrow hair. In fact nature could have no more severe judgement on the dereliction of a man's body than to make foliage sprout through every crack.Some men choose to ignore this phenomenon. I know one chap who has succumbed so completely to the undergrowth of his head, that talking to him is much like having a chat with a neighbour over a garden hedge. But I am one of those who chose to take action. Not without some embarrassment. I felt as self-conscious buying this as I would if I had chosen to order a similarly shaped vibrating device of the kind more useful in my younger years. Even now I keep it secreted in my sock draw, seeing the remaining embers of my marriage as reliant on my wife never clamping eyes on it.But hey, let's be clear: how do you think those young footballers get eyebrows like that? You bet. Sadly, this only added to the trepidation with which I pressed this gadget into action. I don't want footballer eyebrows; but there is a severe risk of getting them involuntarily.You see, even the micro management of skull foliage is a skill. This little device looks innocuous enough. Indeed its neatness is a great piece of design. And the absence of any visible blade makes it look utterly harmless. But have you ever had the experience of nasal stubble? No, neither had I - until now. And it ain't pleasant.This trimmer is very good. The design of the head makes it easy to apply to any part or place. But it requires a steady hand. You need to find the hair end and trim inwards - not necessarily the hair base, as you would in conventional shaving. The sensation when trimming the nostrils is tickly; and if you overdo it, prickly. Ears are easier. Eyebrows are for the advanced user since tracking the rogue folicals can be like trying to find where spaghetti begins. There's a worthwhile YouTube film to be made of man trying to do this while wearing glasses. I'm available.Cleaning is really simple. There's a cunning drainage hole to allow you to run water through the trim head without taking the device apart. Or you can take off the top and use a brush. Battery life is good, but the motor does audibly tire after a couple of minutes. But then so does the user.So this is the perfect device for the task required. It's just that requiring the task feels like trimming the crematorium lawn.

Solid trimmer for the price! The Panasonic ER-GN30 does the job on ears, nose, and facial hair. Wet & dry's great for flexibility, and 90 mins battery life is decent. Only thing is, could be a bit more powerful, but gets there in the end. Easy to clean and compact design's a plus . Would recommend, especially for the price point .

I don't normally give anything the full 5 stars but it is fully deserved.Edit: Downgraded my rating to 4½ stars. The reason is added at the end of this review.I've tried a few different trimmers to control my enhanced follicle behaviour and subsequent wolf-like appearance. This thing works fantastically well. I am now able to keep my human form intact throughout a complete lunar cycle. Even during a full moon my lycanthrope appearance is kept in check and I can pass for a typical example of mankind. And to think it can do all of this at such a ridiculously low price. I use it for both nasal and ear hair. Also good for keeping my eyebrows looking neat. Does the job very speedily and without any pulling. It is so quiet too.No battery included, so I took the battery out of my old trimmer. Five minutes later my humanity was restored thanks to this wondrous lycanthropy camouflage tool. Thank you Panasonic!In short, this is probably the best thing I have ever bought through Amazon. You'd be howling mad not to buy one too!! Wholeheartedly recommended.Edited:Panasonic recommends replacing the blade every 3 years. So I thought I would see if I could get 1 or 2 spare blades in case they stop manufacturing them. However, the only place you can buy a replacement blade is from the Panasonic UK parts website (https://www.pas-europe.com/). The replacement blade block costs £11.02 plus £4.34 postage = £15.34. This means it is cheaper to just buy a new trimmer and realistically means the Panasonic suggestion to replace the blade is pretty meaningless. It may also imply that the expected lifetime of the product, if used regularly, is around 3 years. Still recommended though, as the trimmer is just so much better than any other similar product I have tried. (They are all complete garbage in comparison).

Fantastic product compared to some that are big and awkward and heavy. This did the job in a few minutes and the bend on the trimmer makes it so much easier. Recommend to anybody as great price for a good product.

Per me Panasonic è una garanzia di ottimi prodotti.Fino ad ora tutti i prodotti che ho acquistato di questa marca funzionano benissimo.Questo non fa eccezione, infatti per me è un ottimo prodotto.Leggero, compatto, non fa male quando taglia i peli, è preciso, silenzioso, taglia bene i peli.Si può pulire in tre modi diversi, con lo spazzolino in dotazione (io lo pulisco così smontando la testina in 1 minuto), con acqua o con acqua corrente.Funziona persino con batteria ricaricabile.Per la durata, vedremo, ma al momento il mio giudizio è positivissimo. Cinque stelle meritate.Consigliatissimo.

さすがパナソニック！鼻毛エチケット用に買いました。前はフィリップの３０００円くらいのものを使っていて解体して洗っていたら組付けが悪くなり、３０００円位だったから買いなおそうかと思ったらゼロが１つ増えて３万円くらいになっていてビックリして諦めましたｗ　深剃りできて良い商品だったのに残念ですｗ操作は簡単ON、OFFスイッチだけ！先端の銀色の横の溝に入った鼻毛なんかをカットしてくれます。どんなに押し付けても肌が切れる事は絶対（多分）ありません！また逆にどんなに押し付けても根本まで綺麗にきれることもまたありませんｗ　しかし十分短く切れるので鼻毛が飛び出すとか外から見えるとかはありません。しかも剃っている時はカットされるとジョリジョリ？みたいな音が明らかにして、カットされている時と、されていない時がハッキリわかるのも良いです。色々と先端の横溝の位置を変えながら廻して、ジョリジョリ音が無くなったらほぼカット完了です。手入れも簡単。水の吐き出し口を開けた状態で、先端に流水を当てれば、水の吐き出し口を通って内部まで水洗いが出来ます。が！解体組み立ても簡単なので私は解体して部品を洗って組みなおしています。長く使えて、値段も高過ぎず十分妥当で良い商品です。もし寿命がきたらリピートします。どこぞのフィ〇〇プスみたいに良い商品だからといきなり鬼値上がりしない事を祈りますｗ
