Samsung C24F390 24-Inch,2K DCI 1080p Curved LED Monitor - HDMI, VGA , Black

Its been a while since I have purchased a new monitor, however my hand was forced when I found my new PC does not have the old fashioned monitor output. So old 17 inch Iyama off to the charity shop. new Samsung in its place! I am not completely in the dark ages when it comes to monitors, I use 2, 22 inch flat monitors at work every day, and have to admit these are fine. However, this curves screen is fantastic! its clear, the colours are vivid and sharp (as delivered the brightness is set to max, you might want to turn that down a bit!). The USP, the curved screen is something else, the sales blurb talks about maintaining a constant distance to your eyes as you turn your head, although in the real world we tend to wiggle around and our heads don't stay in a fixed position relative to the screen, I think it does actually work. Certainly where at work with 2 screens I would have one reference document on one and my working document on another, with this monitor I can have both side by side and work just as comfortably on 1 monitor. Regarding games, I am certainly not qualified to venture an opinion on first person shoot em ups, I have been told that CoD isn't just a fish! I do use Asseto Corsa to learn race tracks and I an say for this its great, and I have no problems. Perhaps the more complex graphics of games like CoD combined with the rapid panning players tend to do whilst looking around cause the problems one of the reviewers mentioned, A great monitor at an unbelievable low price, All monitors should be curved!

SAMSUNG's reputation on quality precedes them, but for the spec of this monitor pre-release...I was feeling a bit wary. The price for the spec seemed off, a curved screen with fast refresh AND a SAMSUNG panel inside? Thankfully my concerns were laid to rest. I work from home, I used my old BENQ as my video editing screen, playing games, browsing the web and watching TV / Movies when my Firestick was plugged in...so I am definitely what you call an all rounder when it come to monitor use... I've had it a few weeks now and can safely say that it ticks all my boxes I needed for an all-purpose monitor. Connector wise, there's a HDMI port, VGA, audio (stereo) port for headphones or speakers and of course the low-power connection too. The curved element of the screen, gimicky as it seems without experiencing it is very cool, especially when gaming (it does indeed increase the level of immersion into the game you're playing...clever brain trickery indeed) The colours are vibrant, the clarity is exceptional and the brightness...especially when Samsung Magic is enabled...mind blowing. The controls and settings are all accessed from the rear joystick at the back of the panel, easy to use and access all the stuff you need to. For games and fast movement (such as the recent Euro 2016 games I've been watching) there is no tearing or similar visual issues you have with the lesser monitors out there. This truly is a wonderful monitor on every level and would and will happily recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality display for their setup.

Bought two of these to use them side by side. 24in each but due to the curved screens they only take up 42in of desk space instead of the 48in 2 flat 24in monitors would have taken. The bezel is thin enough for my use but would still be a little too thick for my liking if I was using it for gaming. They look absolutely amazing, very stylish. Light weight. The stand is solid. The control button is at the back but very easy to use. It's also where you will find the settings for the led indicator light which is set to flash when turned off for some stupid reason. I changed it to turn it off when the monitor is off. The viewing angles are great. Can't notice much of a difference when at the side of the screen. The curve isn't that much of a curve or maybe it doesn't show up that much on a 24inch. Overall really happy with the purchase especially with the £150 price tag. Update: liked the screens so much that I purchased the 27inch version for £189 to place at the top of my set up.

well I asked a question about the monitor for gaming and I have a had a long history of gaming monitors BENQ to asus monitors and went for a curve to add more real to it for the budget and me being honest the tv wasent so curved its curved but less than exspecting I know if you get a 27 to a 32 inch curved monitor they are nicely curved 24 inch not to much quality amazing um slite problems with it its improved but for a curved you would exspect realism abit to it but really isn't any I use it for pro gaming at the moment came next day very fast delivery its a great monitor but not the real side was taking away with this monitor I feel there is a problem with this monitor coz its not a s make the bragets you get waching a movie or a video on full screen is bad it is fixed in the s versions but good monitor to a point with this monitor amazing everything else coluring is great but abit of a let down on curved ness and real side but recommended for the price for it good all round editor highly recommended as well since you don't have to move youre head around looking on the screen out of 10 rating 7 out of 10 ill get a 27 inch next to see how that does

I have had the pleasure of owning two of these monitors since 2018 and I have not been disappointed. I actually loved the idea of curved screens but at first I was a little hesitant. The displays are crisp clear as you can see from my photo. I do have one tiny flaw I would like to mention. I have mounted my monitors on an arm rather than using the stands the screens came with. This was due to the fact that the stands supplied dont let you tilt or adjust the monitors. When it came to mounting them I removed the stands but there is still a small notch left on the back. There are countless videos on youtube on how to remove it but its does involve you removing the backing to the monitor. I never see the notch so I honestly left them on because it seemed like a lot of unnessicary work. But honestly if you purchase these you will not be disappointed with the quality you recieve

I purchased two of these monitors for use with my Surface Pro 4 and the Surface dock. Before I made my purchase I read all of the comments and reviews. I've got to admit, the overall quality of these monitors is superb. I am not a gamer as I only use these monitors when I work from home. I don't find any issues with the screen resolution. Neither do I find any issues when the screens wake up. As for the LEDs on the bottom of the screens, these can be toggled on or off using the toggle stick on the back of the monitor. The toggle stick on the back of the monitor is indeed very easy to use. Although the monitor height can't be adjusted they can be tilted. There are plenty of other products on the market that will enhance your viewing height so that's certainly not a negative point. The screen is crisp and clear and I would highly recommend these monitors for use in any working environment. As a non-gamer, I am unable to provide any reviews regarding frame rates.

Moving from a 40 inch 4k screen to a 1080p 24 inch screen, I didn't think there would be much difference, due to the smaller size and all. I was very wrong. The image was nowhere near as sharp, so initially I thought this monitor was awful. However the thing that helped me the most was turning the sharpness down to 50. After that, it looked quite nice. Not 4k, but it still looked good. Aside from the resolution, the menus are really simple and easy to navigate, the stand is easy to set up, and the screen itself looks really nice. The curve is small but it really looks great. Mine came with a HDMI cable, a DVD for something, and some Russian documents, and a Russian charger adapter in addition to the UK one. No idea what that was about, but it's not really important. Good monitor overall.

well it took a whiole to get used to a curved monitor, and setting it up is a bit of a mission, and i bet EVERYONE, is going to say where is the remote control? Well people tis looks lke the way its going to be as I only use this fo gaming no poblem plus i could plug USB hand watc something. But there is NO REMOTE control, insterad you have an on off button at the back about the size of a 5p, and this is the remote as it is a little joystick. I am not sure if its touch screen, but overall, the picture quality and definition, pure clarity is pretty amazing. So if you are using it for gaming just put the HDMI in and when you turn the console on it turns on, same as when you turn it off. I would definitely recommend this for gamers, but for ordinary Tv, I do not think so.

Uso 2 monitores, tenía un Samsung de 21" de hace 10 años, y ya tocaba renovarlo. Entonces busqué por Amazon los mejor valorados, y encontré el BenQ GW2470HL, buscadlo, muy buena valoración y muchos comentarios positivos... Pues me arrepiento muchísimo de su compra, no sé si el mío salió malo, pero se ve mal, he probado todas las configuraciones y nada, molesta a la vista haga lo que haga, ahora lo uso de segundo monitor. Desde entonces seguía usando mi Samsung de 10 años de principal, y dije, este me ha ido bien, buscaré otro Samsung, y encontré este, 24", curvado y a muy buen precio, buenas valoraciones y comentarios positivos... Pues puedo decir, que es la mejor compra que he hecho en Amazon en el último año, y compro bastante. Yo soy muy especial a la hora de configurar un monitor para que no me moleste a la vista y vea todo como me gusta, y con este apenas he tocado nada, como viene de serie, le he bajado el brillo, el contraste, y poco más. Mucha gente se centra en ver videos y videojuegos, pero algo muy importante es que puedas leer bien en el monitor, ya sean páginas web, archivos de texto, programas, etc... Que no tengas que forzar la vista ni se te pongan los ojos llorosos del esfuerzo, y con este monitor, se ven perfectamente las letras a poco que configures bien la nitidez. Estoy encantado con este monitor, aparte lo de la curvatura, al no ser muy pronunciada, va perfecta para no forzar tanto la vista, y con videojuegos hace que te metas dentro, es mucho más envolvente que un monitor plano. Yo trabajo con el PC y estoy de 8 a 12 horas diarias mirando a la pantalla, y de momento, puedo decir que este monitor es una maravilla, 10/10.

Le recensioni che faccio sono esclusivamente soggettive, quindi quello che piace a me, può non piacere ad altri, ma se percepisco della qualità nei prodotti le rendo volentieri disponibili a tutti.
