Excellent Quality and Value
Excellent camera very sharp images. Used as a cycling camera in case of problems on the road. Supplied with a comprehensive set of accesories to suit most needs. Battery life is good and unusually the camera comes with two batteries and a usb charger. The camera comes with a high quality waterproof enclosure in the accessories pack which is what I use on the bike. The unit links up to my iMac without any problems and is easy to download video etc from it. All in all a very good camera supplied with enough accessories to satisfy most needs. Thoroughly recommended

This is a great camera for the price!
I have nothing to compare this camera to so have based my review simply on my experience and expectation of the device itself There is competition out there which I've no doubt performs similarly to this camera. Some are priced around the same as I paid for this one and some are much higher priced, so you pay your money and take your choice. I chose this particular camera and I'm glad I did. I made my choice based on requirements - a good quality item, which was not too expensive, had a variety of functions including wifi, had an extensive range of accessories (included in the price) a spare battery, a remote control and the camera can be used in and out of the water and in a number of different situations. I also wanted a camera that I would actually use and not be afraid to take it out of the box for fear of theft or damage - which would have been the case has I bought a more expensive unit! I have only tested the camera a couple of times as I only received it yesterday (well done Amzon Prime) and so far the results are very promising and exceed my expectations - I would go so far as to say "excellent". The camera and accessories appear to be of first class build quality, function well without being complicated to use and produce very good results. What more can I ask! If you want a great quality camera with ultra HD 4K recording facility and wifi that won't break the bank then this is for you. At the price you can risk using it in conditions and under circumstances that you may well be reluctant to do with an item costing much more. Some cameras are more that 5 times the cost of this one! If I get 2 or 3 annual holidays and several weekend excursions out of this then it's more than paid for itself - and I can always upgrade to a newer model then. Buy it - you won't be disappointed - great value for money, and my wife thinks it's brill...........................I rest my case!

Super lightweight action cam
Strong. Sturdy. Great quality. Loads of accessories. Great picture. Super easy to use. Didn’t even need the instructions. 100% waterproof. My only drawback is it could do with a hand strap. All that aside a brilliant piece of kit.

Good product for the money
Purchased this to take on a family holiday where I was expecting to be in the water and if it got broken or stolen I would not have been too upset based on the cost. I did not have high hopes based on the price, however I was very surprised by the quality of both the video and the photos. You do not have a zoom but all I wanted was to be able to capture reasonable images and videos with something I could stick in my pocket. This more than exceeded expectations overall. Battery life was not an issue for me but I was only taking short videos (In sea, on boats, tree surfing etc) and never got concerned, the spare battery out of the box did not charge but after a couple of goes worked and was fine. Took me a little while to use the connection from my phone but once i realised it was as simple as turn on the wifi on the camera, connect to it on your phone (you need the app), default password for me was 1234567890, then I was easily able to download pictures and videos to my phone and upload to whatsapp/facebook etc after i reconnected to a different wifi Accessories were good for swimming etc, have yet to use on bike etc, I have also just purchased an accessories pack for head straps and sticks, I am not normally bothered by getting lots of pictures and videos but I felt this was non obtrusive to carry around and did a good enough job. Once I saw the 4k quality on your PC and not just the screen on the unit I was impressed. Not the easiest gadget I have used but after a bit of trial and error it was soon easy to use. I would recommend spending time learning switching between video (default) to camera and learning how to get media onto your phone before you go on holiday if you are getting one just for a trip I have nothing bad to say about it other than it did take a bit of getting used too, I found the user guide not particularly helpful but started me off I will use it again and family enjoyed messing about with it too I have a uploaded on picture and a short video taken just holding the camera Overall if you are thinking of getting one and do not want to spend the earth I would recommend this product (and I paid the full amount for it) Updated: Noticed the video quality is dreadful on this site, the actual quality on playback on your own PC or phone is excellent

Efficient & Compact with High Quality Video and Photos
This camera is small and compact enough to attach to anything. The images are clear and the angle of view is wide. One must be creative with the attachments, because there are no step-by-step instructions relating to the variety of attachments that came with the camera; although the manual can be accessed online by scanning the barcode on the included booklet. Easy to set up. On a hot day, the camera can become quite hot in the waterproof case during usage. Economical price due to the extra battery and charging pack included. I would recommend this camera.

Good budget option.
Ok, paid small money for an entry level action cam. If you have a tight budget then this is your option. If you want youtuber quality etc you'll be paying several hundred for a Dji or a Gopro, especially with extra kit. Your choice.... CONs: If you want to shoot on the move and get steady footage like youtubers do then you'll only get this at 720p....why?.....because to get steady footage on the move you need 120 fps. I shot 60 and 30 fps at Glastonbury and walking around that frame rate is too slow attached to your body. To use this camera with the waterproof housing you can't really use the internal mic too well as its muffled. Note that you cannot use the external mic with the waterproof housing unless you modify it. No wireless option. Battery life is quite short so you'll need spares and a charger. PROs: It is a very cheap and reliable camera that with skill you can get good results. Loads of accessories and fairly easy to use with practice. Image stabilisation is acceptable. Good if you need something you're not going to worry about and use on holiday or as a backup/secondary camera. TIPS: Slow movement while action shooting and panning. Use a monopod or walking pole with attachment to reduce movement, I use my old Manfrotto pro monopod. Spare batteries. Get a fast SD card. Use external mic for better sound. (With modified housing see image) Learn the modes and settings a few days before shooting. Only use the correct Akaso housing, they're cheap enough so you can modify them if you're technically minded, then you can use external mic and charge inside the housing with a modified charging cable. WARNING: modifying the waterproof housing as I have shown is irreversible and the housing will be ruined if you get it wrong. Obviously it cannot be submerged afterwards as this would wreak the camera and expose the battery to water! Know your limitations...... Hope that lot helps!

Excellent video for the money, audio quality lacking
I am giving this product my completely honest opinion which I hope the seller/manufacturer are happy with. Im short, the product produces amazing video footage, however the on board microphone is only suitable for vlogging or ambient sounds. I bought it with the intention of recording a press pack video of my band, however the sound result was poor and distorted. I am keeping the product as we always record the band in audio format, and i can match the video to the audio. If you are looking for a product that has great mic capability, then you should, like me be prepared to pay the premium of product that can cope with a band recording etc. Once again 3 stars out of 5 is due to the high quality video standard of this camera. Cheers Jez

Best I've seen, considering the price.
This is THE BEST I've seen in a while, coming with loads of different bits and bobs for connecting to things like helmets, bikes, chest mounts and bags. It has superb image stabilization, waterproof abilities (With the waterproof case on) and the Versatility and Portability is just insane. I can take it anywhere in a small bag, and it weighs almost nothing.

A good quality piece of kit for your adventures
Exactly what I needed for my outdoor adventures. The camera is sturdy and easy to use. Love the quality of the images too. The waterproof case is a nice addition especially in rainy conditions and while on the trails.

Sorprendente

Ottima Action cam, ottima spedizione, servizio clienti molto disponibile e rapido nelle risposte.
Ho acquistato l'Akaso ek 7000.
