Good quality, long lasting, good value for money and seems to work. The taste isn’t the best but put it in with something else and it’s partly masked although had a bit of a smell.But that’s not fault of the product. It’s Maca. And if you want maca it’s going to taste and smell like maca. I find it mixes well.

Although maca is a root that belongs to the radish family it is actually quite sweet, and I found the flavour of this brand to be very pleasant which made it much easier to take - it's a sort of malty flavour. I bought it because it is said to help to balance hormones and to therefore be particularly helpful for menopausal and post menopausal women. It also contains lots of vitamins and minerals and is also said to have some ginseng-like qualities in that it gives you an energy boost. Anyway, one thing is for sure, it has been consumed for many centuries in Peru, the main place of cultivation. I mainly add it to smoothies. I make what I call a 'power smoothie' with banana, maca, cacao powder, ground flax seeds, coconut oil, ground sesame seeds, organic yogurt and whatever else I may feel inspired to add! One thing you should know is not to heat it up otherwise it will lose it's beneficial effects.I recommend this particular product because it represents very good value for money, it tastes good, it's well packaged and it's certified organic. I also found the shelf life to be very good. You can't go wrong really.

This is interesting, I'm just in the peri-menopausal stage and I was starting to get hot flushes - I thought at first it was happening when I was wearing a fleece. Anyway, I was definitely beginning to get them and then I was in a health food shop and began chatting to this girl at the Maca powder shelf who happened to be a herbalist and she recommended it - I came and bought at Amazon and started putting it in my cereal. However, the taste is not good - yuksville. I started making smoothies and added a large spoonful to them - great! I couldn't taste it at all and got into the habit. After a few weeks I realised that gradually my hot flush symptoms were reducing and after a little while further, I hadn't got them at all. I stopped taking it and in fact I've not had any symptoms since. I appreciate that this might not happen for everyone but it is worth a try if you're suffering. I think it also gives you energy (but that might be the effect of drinking a fruit/veg smoothie every morning). This make seems to be good enough quality.

The powder is fresh and high quality. However, I have to take a star off as it seems Sevenhills has changed the packaging. The resealable ziplock is now very flimsy and doesn't actually close properly. This is slightly disappointing as you do really need it to retain freshness of the powder in the bag. I hope they address this issue.

I like Sevenhills. They always have the balance of quality and price. It feels like good vibes when you get it and use it. I use many products from them and have always found good quality.
