Budget, but quality.
I was pleasantly surprised by the CiT Dark Soul. It's an excellent option for anyone on a budget who doesn't want to compromise on quality or features. The fit and finish are impressive, especially for the price. The panels feel thick, align well, and the overall build quality feels solid and well-made. It definitely looks and feels more expensive than it is. The case provides decent space for components, and with a micro-ATX motherboard, there's plenty of room to work, my MSI Ventus 4060 fit with room to spare and everything was assembled with ease. The inclusion of an external drive bay is also a nice touch, a feature that's becoming increasingly rare and was one of the reasons for purchasing this case, the only thing missing on my wishlist was a front usb-c port. The airflow seems adequate as well, helping to keep temperatures in check during use. The only minor drawback I encountered was the lack of space in the PSU tunnel. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for a Gamemax RGB 550, so it required some patience to get everything routed cleanly. Overall, the CiT Dark Soul is great value, it offers a premium feel, good compatibility, and useful features at a very accessible price point.

A budget case that truly delivers.
For the price this CiT Dark Soul PC case represents excellent value. Not many cases come with an optical disk drive bay these days but because I still use discs for hard copies of backup material this case met my needs. It is a full tower case which can accommodate a full size ATX motherboard. It also features the separate lower compartment for the PSU which is always a better option when hiding the cluster of cables. The case features the usual IO ports on the front of the case, two USB 2.0 Ports (A Type), one USB 3.0 (A Type), headphone output, microphone input and a reset switch which doubles as a RGB Fan controller. Their is also two (toolless) internal HDD trays and plenty of SSD drive options available. The case also features a clear window panel for those who like to see the inner workings of their PC rig. The only downside to this case is that it only includes one exhaust RGB fan on the rear of the case, there are no air intake fans. Luckily I had a couple of fans from an older system which I attached to the front of this case to allow air intake. Overall, I have nothing to complain about with this case, it suits my needs perfectly. An excellent buy.

Decent cheap case
I was in a rush and picked this cheap case as it was available for next day delivery and I was over my upgrade budget on other parts. I wasn't sure what to expect but it looked ok. Initially, I installed an ASRock MicroATX board but I changed it to a full ATX MSI Pro board as I had so much space to use. There are no instructions, just a bag of screws which could cause issues if you try to force a long screw through an SSD. I wasn't sure of the intended layout of the SSD drives but I put them on the right outside of the case with the cables passed through the large holes. It is a cheap case so the metal is very thin and not the best quality but it does the job well. I don't have any stupid lights or LEDs so the perspex side is pointless. Overall, the case is solid, relatively easy to work with. Some of the mounting holes are a little unmachined and need a bit of force.

Great for the price.
Case is great for a £30 case. I’ve read reviews about the stand offs not lining up, but on MY particular case, they were fine. The included fans are fairly decent, with either a 3 pin connector or molex for you to choose from, and the window is nice for the price. The inclusion of the power supply shroud is a much appreciated feature and helps massively with the cable management. On the topic about cable management, the back of the case has many tie down points for your cables for a clean look. There is 2 (from what i can remember) SSD mounting points at the back of the case, and there is a drive tray in the psu shroud that can hold 2.5 and 3.5 inch drives. You can easily fit a 240mm rad on the front, but I’m not sure about the top as my motherboard has a capacitor on the top of the mobo which would interfere with the fans (hence why i just have a stock AMD cooler). This case has an EVGA 1070 FTW edition in it and it has heaps of space left, so if you had a ZOTAC AMP! Edition card, you’d have enough room left. The dust filter at the top of the case is fairly good too, as it does keep out dust, but there is no filter on the back / front. There is also one for the PSU. In conclusion, for a £30 case, it’s brilliant, but for an expensive build, I’d say get a case a little more expensive, but for a budget build like the one i have pictured, it’s fantastic. Hope this review helps.
