Bought pre 2018..... I have 10 had toddlers for near on 10 years and have bought 16 mattress protectors from various manufacturers. They all claim to be waterproof and I guess that means it will keep the bed dry for a certain amount of time. These are by far the best. If left for a day or more they will slightly weep a little but far far far more secure than the other brands I have used. 85% of the time teh mattress is dry. They also make just a little rustling noise - and if you wanted a better solution you would have to sleep on a thin plastic sheet which would be horrible. A little expensive but I still have all 8 I have bought and only now I am disposing of them as we no longer need them. I washed them at 40 deg on a normal wash and hung dried them in the garden and then a quick warm cycle in the dryer (carefully) if needed - at a guess some have been washed over 100 times, maybe a lot more. A really great product that did the job.

These are absolutely fab for those times when my daughter wets the bed. She usually wakes up straight away and lets me know, bedding gets changed, mattress stays dry. I think if there is a short delay (eg. She wakes up to find herself wet in the morning, having wet the bed sometime overnight) that is probably fine too. I also love that these can be washed hot (up to 90° I think although I have never washed above 60°) and can be tumble dried on low/synthetic setting. BUT... the other day she neglected to tell me that she woke up wet and I didn't see the wet patch on her bed till the following evening. Because this mattress protector is breatheable PUL material (like is used on washable nappies) the mattress was dry but absolutely STANK of urine. I'm not sure if the wet had gradually seeped through into the mattress and dried out again by the evening, or if it was just the smell that seeped through, but either way, it was a BIG PAIN to have to deal with right before bedtime. Moral of the story if you want something 100% waterproof go with old fashioned rubber sheets! However, so long as these get changed straight away when accidents happen, they work just fine, hence 4 stars. They are also not crinkly or noisy to sleep on. I have the double bamboo version of this sheet on my own bed to protect the mattress from (my husband's, ahem) sweat and so forth. Bamboo is more absorbant but would probably go for the cotton variety in the future because it takes an AGE to dry! Tumbling never seems to get it completely dry either because of the PUL lining restricting the airflow and it takes ages to air out on the line after. The single cotton ones do not have this problem. They dry almost completely in the drier and only take a short amount of airing on the line or on the bed before putting the sheet on top.

I Bought this for my daughters new bed. She's 3 and is autistic so for us having a waterproof sheet is a must, due to night nappies leaking sometimes. I also always like to use them on all our beds to keep the mattress well protected. It arrived Well packaged, and very quickly, I feel it was good value for money too. Protector was exactly as expected. It washed very well and was easily dried. The terry towel part is great as it offers a soft surface. I still use a fitted sheet over it. But still it wasn't all crunchy like some waterproof sheets are. Crisp white. Fits the bed perfectly. Nice stretchy sides. So will fit mattresses of various depths. Ours is a single 90x190cm and 14cm deep. The waterproof part fitted the whole top surface of the mattress and the sides had plenty of room and tucked quite far under. It's nice it wasn't too small like others have been in the past. I would recommend this to other users for a good value for money item

The cover is a very good fit and is very comfortable beneath the sheet.

I own a B&B and have used these covers to protect guests bed for 10 years and the are excellent wash really well and long lasting replace them 3 yearly although they are still perfect but I'm sure would last longer in normal use as mine get washed too much . They don't rustle and are cool do not make you sweat like others . I don't know how they can be breathable and waterproof but they are excellent product

I never bothered with a mattress protector with my old mattress, but when I bought my new and much more expensive mattress, I didn't want to use it until I purchased a protector. I came to trusty Amazon and decided upon this one. It seemed like a decent price, and was waterproof which was something I was after with having a baby. I've been using it for 5 months now and thought I'd come back and post a quick review. I'm very happy with this purchase. It has held up perfectly over the 5 months we have used it. We often change our 1 year Old's nappy on the bed and occasionally he has had a mishap and started weeing before we have got the new nappy on. Thank goodness for the protector, as it's worked as intended and did not let the mattress itself get wet. We've even spilt at least one drink on the bed and the protector did it's job with much more fluid. It's easy to clean, and dries pretty quick too. I remember reading one review when I purchased it, saying the mattress protector russles as if there is a plastic sheet on the bed. This isn't the case in my opinion. The protector has a toweling on top of the waterproof underside, and doesn't russle at all in use. Overall, I'm very happy with this protector, and I would purchase it again if I ever need another one.

Dieser Matratzenschoner ist nicht nur preiswert sondern tut genau das, was er tun soll! Ich habe mich von negativen Beurteilungen zu sehr leiten lassen. Erst einmal - passt er perfekt. Die angegebene Größe stimmt. Dieser Matratzenschoner raschelt KEINESWEGS - UND!! vorallem saugt er effektiv Flüssigkeiten auf. Ich habe erst heute Cola drauf geschüttet, versehentlich, versteht sich. Kein Tropfen kam auf meiner Matratze an. Ich wasche und trockne ihn sogar (seit mehreren Monaten!) und er bleibt resistent. Alle negativen Kommentare hier sind absoluter Schwachsinn. Ich habe mir 2 davon gekauft, beide sind top, beide sind angenehm, um darauf zu schlafen, beide machen ihren Job und beide lassen KEINEN Tropfen Flüssigkeit durch! 5 Sterne dafür!

Nonostante nessuna recensione ho deciso di acquistare questo coprimaterasso e posso dire al momento, di essere pienamente soddisfatto del prodotto. Si adatta perfettamente al materasso e non si sposta di un millimetro. Da testare ancora la permeabilità ed il primo lavaggio che mi faranno eventualmente aggiungere la quinta stella.

Passt, sitzt, wackelt und hat luft ... passt super aufs Bett ohne zu spannen. Bei Bedarf sofort wieder.

Mi colchón es de 80x180 y se adapta perfectamente. Es suave, flexible y no hace ruido. No lo he lavado así que en ese campo no puedo opinar.

Habe einen guten, preisgünstigeren Matratzenschoner gesucht, der Wasserdicht ist. Hatte nun ein paar mal Pech aber mit diesem Produkt bin ich sehr zufrieden!! Der Schoner ist nun seit ca. 2 Wochen in Benutzung und hat schon einem Malheur standgehalten. Unser Senior-Kater darf seit ca. einem Jahr bei uns am Fussende schlafen, da er nicht mehr der jüngste ist und einfach weil er der ärmste Kater auf der Welt ist ;-) Das klappt auch ganz gut, dass Problem ist nur, dass er leider Magenprobleme hat und aus diesem Grund leider des öfteren spucken muss und dann geht er natürlich nicht extra in den Flur um auf die unempfindlichen Fliesen zu spucken sondern bleibt an Ort und Stelle im Bett hocken O_O Da wir uns aber nun richtig teure Tempur Matratzen zugelegt haben, mussten wir uns etwas überlegen und da schienen die wasserdichten Velfont Spannbettlaken genau richtig. Die Laken haben alles abgefangen und die Matzratzen sind verschont geblieben!! Super! Wasserdichtigkeit: 5 von 5 Sternen Ich glaube zwar nicht, dass man der Matratzenschutz z.B. die Flüssigkeit einer auslaufenden Wasserflasche standhalten würde, aber dass ist ja auch nicht Sinn und Zweck des Artikels. Es wird zu 100% Körperschweiß abgehalten und wie in meinem Fall beschrieben auch Katzenspucke :-D Handhabung: 4 von 5 Sternen Leider ist es etwas umständlicher die Matratzen zu überziehen je höher diese sind, heißt aber nicht, dass sie sich nicht anpassen. Wir haben 21 cm hohe Matratzen und das Spannlaken passt sehr gut darüber. Durch die dehnbaren Seiten passt es sich gut an die Matratze an. Allerdings verrutschen sie beim beziehen gern, was etwas lästigt ist. Trotzdem rutscht es nicht so sehr wie die Schoner, die nur an vier Ecken durch einen Gummiband gehalten werden. Oberfläche: 5 von 5 Sternen Wir nutzen über dem Bezug zusätzlich normale Spannbetttücher - weil es schöner aussieht. Sein muss es aber nicht, da die Oberfläche der Laken schön weich und angenehm ist. Außerdem riecht diese selbst neu gekauft kaum. Was man von günstigeren Produkten oft nicht erwartet. Beschichtung: 5 von 5 Sternen Die Wasserdichtigkeit habe ich ja oben erwähnt (5 von 5 Sternen). Nun zum Rascheln durch die imprägnierte Innenseite. Wir finden beide, dass sich das Rascheln sehr in Grenzen hält und noch weniger wird, wenn man über den Bezug ein Spannbettlaken benutzt. Uns stört es in keinster Weise; da hatten wir schon weitaus 'lautere' die dazu noch kratzig waren, sich in ihre Einzelteile auflösten und noch nichtmal wasserdicht waren. Insgesamt: 5 von 5 Sternen Eine absolute Kaufempfehlung für all diejenigen, die einen wasserdichten, weichen und praktischen Matratzenschonbezug suchen.
