Doomlings is a fun card game that’s easy to learn but still has enough strategy to keep every game interesting. The different Ages and Trait cards make each game feel unique, so it has great replay value. The artwork is fantastic, and the cards feel high quality. It’s also quick to set up and plays at a nice pace, making it great for family game nights or casual gatherings. One tip for new players is to play a practice round first. Once everyone understands how the Trait cards work, the game becomes much more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a well-designed game that’s fun to play over and over again. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a light strategy card game.

Wonderful game with funny card art thats easy to start with anyone. Cheap to begin and easy to add onto with the expansions.

My wife and I stumbled across this game by accident. We watched a lot of online reviews for it before buying the deluxe edition and giving it a shot. A week later we are returning the deluxe edition and already ordered the ultimate edition. After playing it a few times the first night it was delivered, we quickly decided this game would be one we really want to keep as pristine as possible for a very long time. It really is a simple game to understand but there are minor combinations that you can chain together. Most of the time you are going to be playing one card from your hand and following what it says at the bottom of the card if there is any text at all. There are no life points to track or energy or sanity which you find in larger games, but the simplicity and straight forward nature of doomlings is what sets it apart. Every game has been different between me and my wife. All the catastrophes do change the outcomes of the next round and only having one trait card in the entire deck make playing more challenging as well. What I am trying to say is neither me or my wife are going to have the same traits with the same effects each game which I turn makes all the games we have played very interesting and make us try to strategies what our next few moves would be before the end of the game, or world lol. Overall this is one of our top games for game nights with only owning it a few days. It is semi-quick fun and you can affect your partners hand and play area. If your on the fence about this game, give it a shot, you'll love it.

Great game with both strong strategy aspects and player interactions.

Very fun game. Surprising amount of depth - you can't tell, for sure, who is winning until the end of the world. Exceptionally well thought out cards with twists and turns. Absolutely top-notch adorable artwork. Even people who don't like playing games are liking this one. We like it so well that we also bought a Deluxe set - that gave us a full second set of the basic cards, plus some expansions, which we are adding in slowly.

This is a fun game

The game itself is fun. Relatively easy to learn. The expansions add a unique level of added gameplay. I’ve only had the pleasure to play it as a 1 on 1 setting so far and even then so it made for fun games. The box it came in is stunningly beautiful. Now for the reason why 4 stars. I bought the deluxe edition of the game. It comes with a little play mat and expansions. I was a tiny bit disappointed with how small the box was, it doesn’t fit the play mat. I’d also like to have at least 1 more play mat. Also it would have been great to see more foiled cards in the base game and expansions (I know that costs more for developers). Overall though the quality is very good. I’m happy with the purchase.

This game is adorable. It was easy to learn and fun to play. I like the shiny box it comes in, and the playmat is cool.

Hab öffter schon Werbung auf Instagram hierzu bekommen und ich muss schon sagen, es hat sich definitiv gelohnt den Kauf zu tätigen. Karten sind einfach super Illustriert und die Spielregeln sind sehr schnell verstanden. Und Spaß macht es alle male. Ich habe mir nach dem ersten mal Spielen sogar die zwei Erweiterung gekauf weil ich dirket gemerkt habe was für ein potenziale dieses Spiel hat. Kaufen? Auf jeden Fall!
