I have used; The Body Shop - Rainforest line, Naked Bodycare shampoos, Kera Care First Lather and their Natural Textures Cleansing Cream, Curl Junkie Daily Fix, Jessicurl Cleansing Cream, and Mixed Chicks Sulfate Free Shampoo. None of the above apart from Jessicurl Cleansing Cream - maybe, come any where close. This has a subtle smell reminiscent of their old sulfate free shampoo formula just not as strong, so does not clash with any perfume you may be wearing. This gives quite a rich lather so if you have bought the cosmetics industry hype of the lather cleaning your hair, (or had it indoctrinated into you, even though you know better). Then this fulfils that need for lather. The shampoo is thick and pearl-escent, in texture and appearance, which is gratifying for me, as I have been indoctrinated for over twenty years to beware of clear shampoos, because they will dry your hair out. When I rinse this shampoo through my hair, my hair feels like it has been lightly conditioned and moisturised. I feel confident that I could use this regularly with out it stripping or drying my hair. I love this shampoo and will be purchasing again, I am even going to order some for my sister too.
