This has been a lifesaver living in a very small space. Gets nice and hot quickly, easy to store and clean. I wish I’d got a double! Very stable and sturdy too. Great value for money!

Broke down after 5 months
I bought this hot plate 31.12.2024 and it just stopped working today 17.5.2025. It does not heat anymore. It only lasted 5months. I would not recommend.. Waist of money

Bought to replace a one ringed plate.
Quite poor quality. Heats up quickly but takes quite a while to cool down. The rings have gone rusty already, despite cleaning it after each use. Would not recommend.

Heats up fast
I make my own pickles but rather than stink out the kitchen and house I bought this for the garage. I have a good sized pan which sits nicely on the single hot plate which is switched on by a dial on one side. It gets VERY hot. It would not be adviable to use this unatended so keep an eye on whatever your cooking as it could boil over. The plate heats up very quickly and stays HOT for a long time after you switch it off, but it does the job. You can use it in the kitchen as a spare hob or anywhere with a 3 pin socket. Its works very well very pleased

Don't be afraid to buy this, I got it and am very pleased I did, it cooks everything for me I cannot find any faults with it even the price was good and the delivery was well ahead of schedule well done Amazon!

The twin hot plate that I bought is really what every household need. I have a big Gas stove in the Kitchen but use my 2 plate hotplate outside when we have to make porridge and sauce for the Braai. It will even be good for a Bachelor's Flat. I enjoy my Twin plate to the fullest.
