I bought the VTech Little Friendlies Moosical Beads for my 4‑month‑old, and it’s been one of the most engaging toys we’ve tried so far. The friendly cow face immediately caught my baby’s attention, and the bright colours keep her focused for quite a long time. Good quality, batteries last a while. has on/ off switch with 2 settings for volume. getting lots of use and still looks as good as new.

An absolute favourite in this house! I’ve witnessed several family members humming the tunes and jingles from this damn cow hours after it’s been played with! It’s very sturdy and has been thoroughly tested by my 6 month old. The buttons are very easily pressed so he doesn’t get frustrated with it, it has a nice amount of tunes which are annoyingly catchy and 2 volume settings. The ears are also apparently great for teething on! Original batteries that were included have yet to run out despite being played with a thousand times a day. It’s also light enough so babies can pick it up and throw it all by themselves!

Baby loved this, the yellow button no longer works…. Expected better quality from vtech in all honesty. Buttons sometimes stick also so tune plays continuously wearing batteries quickly

I bought this toy for my daughter when she was three months old. She was instantly fascinated with the coloured lights and sounds. She was soon able to press the buttons as they are a decent size and in a good location for a young baby to reach. My girl is now 6 months old and the toy is just the right size and shape for her to hold. She still loved to lights and sounds and this is definitely her favourite toy. I have since bought this for my niece and friends daughter. It’s great quality and just what you would expect from vtech. I would really recommend this toy. Great purchase.

The cow is smaller than I expected, but my 3 month old loves it none the less. He seems to pay attention to black and white toys more than colour at the moment, so though a cow would be good. It has plenty of different lights and sounds to keep him amused for a while. And 2 different sound levels, so if it gets annoying you can turn it down a bit

This is the second one I bought of these both God Daughter (11 months) and God Son (11 weeks old) love them. The buttons are easy to press, variety of songs and teaches counting, colours and shapes. 11 week old has already worked out how that movement will cause the buttons to press and knows he is in control of it. There is a volume control as well which is good. This updated version seems to be UK too as alphabet says Zed instead of Zee (US) which I like as well. Smiles all round.

My baby (4 months) absolutely loves this cow, it’s the perfect size for him to hold, the buttons on the front spin round and they are easy for babies to push. There are little rings on the side for teething babies to chew and the songs he sings are really cute. The whole family knows the ‘I’m a soft and happy cow’ song now and we can’t help but sing it every time we switch him on!
