Just bought a new gaming laptop and in order to keep it in good condition for as long as possible, I decided to invest in a cooling tray too. This one had good reviews and at the time of purchase, was £9.99, which seemed reasonable enough. I've been using it the last few days on my old laptop, which gets hot as balls in one corner, to the point that it's uncomfortable to the touch, and it's been a revelation! Pros: * The cooling tray keeps the computer so nice and cold that I would genuinely think it wasn't on. * It runs virtually silent (no noise noticeable after the computer is on because the computer itself is noisier). * It's attractive without being garish - the blue lights aren't obtrusive, which I appreciate. * It's nice and light without feeling flimsy. The little legs that pop out to raise the angle feel sturdy and the hinge is nice and stiff, they definitely can't slip down by themselves. * There are rubber strips on all four corners on the bottom and on the bottom of the pop out legs, to ensure the tray doesn't shift when placed on a surface. There are also two rubber strips on top, so the laptop stays in position even when angled. These are nice and big and grippy without obstructing air flow or sticking out too much. * The USB port means you don't have to sacrifice a peripheral to use this. Cons: * If you have a very heavy laptop or press down too hard, the metal can compress to hit the fan blades inside - the metal is full of holes to allow air flow, so it's not made to withstand very heavy loads. If you did this for long enough, I imagine you'd break it. I don't think you'd do this with any modern laptop without mishandling the product, though (I only realised because I shifted too suddenly with it on my lap and grabbed it too hard trying to stop the laptop sliding off). * There are two USB ports, but only one of them is an EXTRA USB port. One port is required to connect to the laptop, which is where the tray pulls its power. So you don't lose a port (I plugged my mouse into the tray and the tray into the laptop instead of plugging the mouse into the laptop), but you don't gain one either. Just to clarify that. Overall, it does exactly what it promises for a really reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend. To ensure its long life, I'd probably use it on a desk or on top of a lap tray rather than directly on your lap, but you can use it on your lap if needed. I tried both but it feels better on a lap tray, as the rubber feet can grip it so it feels safer than your legs.

I only received this yesterday so these are my initial impressions: - next day delivery, well-packed. Box contains a short USB A to USB A cable - the pad has a bigger footprint than my 13" laptop, but all three fans fit below the laptop. The size means It's fine for home use (which is what I wanted) but I probably wouldn't travel with it. - there's one fan at the back and two at the front. My laptop's vent is at the back and that's where it's felt hot. So I've turned the pad round so that two fans are at the back. This means the 2 USB slots and on/off switch are the front not the back - actually easier to reach and use. It also means the optional feet are at the front not the back. That works fine for me, I don't want to use it as a raised stand so don't need to use the feet. - there is sufficient grip both between the pad on the table/desk, and also between the pad and the laptop. It feels safe. I would be happy to use it to carefully carry my laptop around the house. - I think it's quiet. I'm currently using a USB desk fan for my own use, due to the hot weather, and that small desk fan is much much louder than the cooling pad - It is definitely cooling my laptop. The laptop base is usually hot to the touch (probably needs cleaning) - it now hardly feels warm. - I have been unable to power the pad from my laptop. Windows 10 gave out constant error messages saying there was insufficient power. I had to reboot to stop the alerts, despite unplugging the pad. I am now powering the pad from an external USB charging bank. If others have the same problem you may find the supplied A to A cable isn't long enough. It's fine for me. - The blue lights are quite attractive - This was recommended by Techradar as a budget option, and I agree it offers good value. - Basically, after tweaking it a bit, I'm happy with my purchase.

My cooling pad broke so needed a replacement. Got it today, and because I use my laptop on my bed I put my cooling pad on its box since it's not Elevated enough, you can definitely feel the cold coming through the sides and coming at you, but it still cools the Laptop which is good. It isn't Ultra Quiet, it's small background noise which is nice but yeah not Ultra Quiet otherwise it'll be 5 Stars

This is likely not the best on the market, but it is super quiet, it's well built, and it does the job well. I bought this to extend the life of my laptop, as it was running pretty hot after extended gaming sessions. I tested this out and checked the temperature of my processor with and without the cooling pad - without it, my processor got to 72 degrees C after an extended period (several hours) of gaming. This was with the laptop in my lap, without a hard surface. With the cooling pad, my processor stays at a much cooler 46 degrees C. The only real negative about this is that it doesn't really work if you don't use it on a flat surface - there is a difference, but not really enough to prolong the life of your computer as much. I solved this by putting a hardback notebook underneath it, which gives it some elevation so the air has room to circulate. The feet on the underside to hold it up at an angle are really sturdy, although one of the rubber pads keeps coming loose - not a big deal, as the overall build quality is pretty good. As it's just some metal with some fans between it, if you pick up the pad while it's on (and squeeze the chassis in the process) the fans will make a pretty nasty sound - but this is the only time it'll really make any noise. Compared to the sound of my laptop's fan, it's barely even noticeable. Can't do much better for the price of it. I will note it was a lot smaller than I expected - my laptop is 14" and fits perfectly on the pad, with maybe 1cm of space at the sides, and about an inch vertically - I'm not sure how a 17" laptop would fit on it and get the same level of cooling, unless all the fans were on the bottom and in the middle!

Paid for free delivery so expected time was a week, but came next day. Packaged nicely, environmentally friendly in a way with no wasted material. Lightweight, easy to use, and I quite like the design. Some comments seem to question the integrity of it but I feel these are unnecessarily harsh and it could hold up reasonably well, even to decent bumps and drops. Has a couple of legs at the back to lift it up, and some pads to stop it slipping. Not had an issue with these and have been fine, not slipped once. Seen some complaints about this and I don't think they're justified to be honest. My laptops have rubber on them too and they work in tandem fantastically and you have to drag/lean on them quite hard to actually get it to fall off. Seen some reviews complain about the noise. Yes you can hear it, but it's certainly not louder then your own laptop fan at full blast, significantly quieter in fact. It is quite quiet and only really noticeable when there is 0 noise elsewhere. I feel people notice it because it's a new noise and you focus on it, but I feel you could get used to it, like you would your own laptop fan or even air con or similar. I've had it on all day whilst my laptop does updates and I watched TV and didn't notice anything. Ultimately I bought this for older laptops of mine that are crashing due to overheating. So far it seems to be helping. I need to perhaps do some more thorough tests though and try get my laptop up and running for gaming and see how it handles it. I've seen some negative reviews regarding high end usage on powerful laptops so I feel this needs to be checked out. Despite the lack of extenuating testing, I'd say it's a pretty good product and good value for money.

The below is my own personal experience and review of this product which I purchased with my own money in full nor will I get my money back for leaving a review. The company only contacted me to leave feedback whether good or bad so without further ado. This product is great and does the job excellently! My MacBook Pro laptop was over heating and I Googled solutions, some helped but overall the problem persisted. I was glad this item was compatible with my Mac because the air vent is in such an awkward place a design flaw by Apple in my opinion, more on that later. The item is ready to use straight out the box! It cooled my Mac down instantly and since having it I no longer remember what a hot laptop feels like. At night the blue lights and the hardly noticeable low hum of the fans have a slight ASMR effect when the whole house is silent. My only wish is that the product was C port compatible so I wouldn't have to use an adaptor. Also hoping the blue lights work for a very long time because it's really beautiful. So earlier I said I'd mention more on the air vent location. On the MacBook Pro is seems to be near the tiny space at the back between the screen lid and the base and if the screen is not at a 45° angle will cause it to overheat. Seriously most people don't have their laptop screens at that angle anyway its always slighlty angled further so for that reason I say the vent space is a design flaw and you will most certainly need a product like this eventually to keep it cool. Glad I bought this as I'm sure it will save me money in the long run and avoid internal damage from the overheating. Update July 2020: Still going strong and the blue lights haven't failed yet. One of the very few products I've purchased from Amazon that has lasted long and that I actually use everyday for hours on end. Top tip: hold your cooler and laptop with both hands when moving it not one hand. Else you'll hear a loud sound where the fans connect with the casing due to the weight of your laptop. For this reason my fans aren't as quiet as before but really nothing major.

It's good an does the job - but if you say "ultra silent" fans then I expect less noise than e.g. most Pc fan units, and definitely less than the laptop it's self. I'd not even say "quiet" therefore. Otherwise - solid unit, nice size.

As an Amazon Vine reviewer I'm spending a lot of time on both my desktop and laptop and was finding that my laptop was getting pretty hot when running for a few hours. So I needed to get something to cool it down and also not be too noisy. In addition to that, I spend a lot of time with the laptop actually on my lap, so I didn't want anything too heavy. This stand is extremely good as keeping my laptop cool with the 3 LED fans, which look great lit up and are pretty quiet when running. The stand of the stand is a metallic looking plastic mesh, that allow the air to come through and also reduce the stand weight. There are 2 anti-slip pads on it, but they themselves slowly slide off with use. Could do with some super glue on them. This is the only negative I have with the pad. At the back, there is an on/off switch and 2 USB ports, one of which is used to power the stand. This can be via a USB charging socket or, as I do, connect directly to my laptop to draw power. The 2nd USB port can be used for charging a device. The underneath is basically black plastic, with 2 pop-out feet, that have rubber pads on them. There are also 3 fan shaped cut-outs, through which you can see the fans and that light can shine through from them. Obviously, if connected to your laptop, it does drain the battery more than without it. Personally, I don't have an issue with the reduced battery time. When you consider the performance and what you actually get for your money, this represents really excellent value for money and looks pretty cool as well with the blue LED light. Quality product, nice one

J'ai passé commande du modèle de "base" TeckNet 14cm ainsi que du modèle TeckNet 360° modèle N2 (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00P04WEDM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Je suis ravi de ces 2 achats. Dans les 2 cas les matériaux sont légers (plastique) mais très solides. La barre de soutien pour maintenir les différents angles est quant à elle en métal de couleur noir. Toujours concernant ces 2 modèles les ventilateurs sont relativement silencieux. Un ronronnement régulier tirant plus vers les graves que vers les aigus. On peut comparer le bruit à un disque dur externe Toshiba Canvio ou Western Digital Element. Mais on est extrêmement loin du bruit de séchoir je rassure. Je suis très sensible au bruit, surtout de part mon activité professionnelle (écrivain). Je suis également un bon geek hardware/ software et je sais reconnaitre du matériel de qualité ou cheap. Celui-ci est de très bonne facture. J'utilise le TeckNet n12 pour un macbook pro late 2008, les encoches de soutien sont piles poiles comme il faut. J'utilise le TeckNet de base (un ventilateur) pour un Asus N56VZ, les encoches sont plus grandes que le TechNet n12 et c'est tant mieux car l'épaisseur de l'Asus est plus grande que celle du macbook pro, ces encoches sont également d'une taille idéale pour ce modèle d'ordinateur. Une fois les ordi posés sur les plateaux de refroidissement on ne voit pas du tout la lumière (émise par les diodes présentes derrière les ventilateurs) ni dessous ni sur les cotés. Impeccable donc pour les travailleurs de la nuit ou souhaitant garder un environnement de travail discret. Les ventilateurs (3 moyens pour le techNet n12 et 1 grand pour le TechNet de base) sont efficaces je gagne au moins 3 degrés dans les 2 cas. Pas de différence entre les 2 modèles TechNet coté gain de température (en tout cas avec mes ordinateurs). Je recommande vivement!

It has 3 power fans idea for keeping the laptop cool. Also the whole cooling pad is not too bulky. Comes with two clips at the back to tilt the laptop if needed. Will update the review as times goes on.

Es robusta y estable (base de plástico, más una rejilla y barra de ajuste metalicas). Los niveles de regulación de la inclinación son más que suficientes. El ventilador casi se puede decir que no suena practicamente nada, y yo me considero muy quisquilloso con el sonido que emiten mis equipos. Lo uso con un portatil de 13", y pensé que la base pudiera ser demasiado grande, pero es bantante contenida (la base solo me sobresale un dedo por cada lado del portatil, mejor, asi mis conexiones quedan más protegidas), pudiendo utilizar portatiles más grandes sin problemas. Excelente precio para esta base de refrigeración. Un producto que recomiendo.

Lieferumfang -Kühler Pad -Bedienungsanleitung -USB Kabel Ich habe mir das Kühler Pad gekauft um mein Notebook Lenovo Laptop (17' ) zu kühlen, da es bei längerer Benutzung sehr warm wird. Das Gerät ist leicht und lässt sich somit sehr gut transportieren. Der Notebook-Kühler wird über das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel betrieben und benötigt so kein externes Netzteil. Ein weiterer USB Port an der Kühlerrückseite relativiert den belegten USB-Anschluss am PC. Dieser wird als ganz normaler Anschluss mit Datenaustausch-Möglichkeit erkannt, wird in meinem Fall nun aber praktischerweise für die Maus verwendet. Ebenfalls an der Rückseite ist der physische An-/Ausschaltknopf angebracht. Im eingeschalteten Zustand leuchten blaue LEDs im Inneren des Cooling Pads, welche zwar nett anzusehen sind, jedoch mit dem Laptop drauf bedeckt werden und (wenn überhaupt) nur teilweise im Dunkeln zu sehen sind. Das Geräusch-Level ist angenehm leise und wesentlich angenehmer als der auf Hochtouren laufende Kühler meines Laptops, der nach wenigen Sekunden nach Inbetriebnahme des Cooling-Pads runterfuhr. + Super verarbeitet + sehr geräuscharm + Höhe verstellbar + Top Preis Der Lüfter tut genau das wofür er gemacht wurde. Er ist einstellbar, sieht schön aus und funktioniert einwandfrei. So sollte ein Produkt sein. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis finde ich gut. Ich kann das Produkt jedem empfehlen.
