There's a reason this is a classic and still industry standard. It's brilliant. Pure reproduction and tone either straight to amp or through effects. There's nothing better at this price point, or several higher ones. Whether you're public speaking, choral, soul or a real rockstar this mic will handle it all. Excellent.

Bough for my son who's a DJ. The mic is of good build quality. Easy to use and functions as it's supposed to. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive either. He is very happy with this mic.

An industry standard. Solid and reliable.

There are no downsides to this Shure microphone from an acoustic guitarist/singer point of view. The reproduction is crystal clear with no distortion or effects, which can be easily obtained through the amp if that is what you want. I'm looking for faithful sound reproduction, and that is what you get with the iconic SM58. This one has an on/off switch which I thought would be really useful, but in reality I usually forget it is there and so I forget to use it! Buy this mic if you want a no nonsense bit of kit that is sturdy and well made.

Microphone great. Unfortunately original Shure packaging box had postage stickers on it and box was damaged.

If there's a better all rounder microphone for live performances, I haven't found it. I've tried to get away with spending less in the past and having finally splashed the cash to get one of these I can honestly say it was worth the money. I wouldn't use it for recording but for gigging it's a must.

This is such a great product, easily one of the best investments I've ever made. It is very well built and has a nice weight to it. The mic seems very durable and built to last. For the price it's a great buy, after all it is the industry standard. Great for live performance and sounds great for recording with too. The mic comes with a nice carry case and mic clip to attach to the stand. It is definitely worth pay a little extra for the switch as it gives you that bit of control when performing live when you may need to switch the mic off without messing around with controls or unplugging it. The mic has a really nice matte finish and it a very smart and sleek design. It is also great that this mic does not need phantom power to work which means it is much more volatile than other mics that rely on phantom power. Overall this is a really great product and I'd recommend it to anyone, it's affordable and will last for a very long time, don't be fooled in to buying cheap imitations, pay that little bit extra and get yourself a long lasting professional mic.

There was initially some confusion over whether this was the same as a Shure SM58SE that has an on/ off switch. This model did but I feel i could have got it cheaper on ebay in new condition but was in a rush to get it as it was a birthday gift. All in all recipient is very happy as it even comes with a pouch to put the mic in.

Die Ledertasche wirkt auch sehr Hochwertig 👍🏻

Bonne acoustique et son très clair. Plus performant que le Shure PGA48, mais plus cher. Je suis satisfaite du résultat donné en concert.
