This is the second similar Silentnight mattress topper I have owned. I bought the first one for a good quality memory foam mattress that was a good six years old at the time and the most recent for a better quality mattress that is a few months old. I've read that the toppers need to be changed every 3-5yrs, so I've taken the earliest opportunity to do so, albeit there is plenty of mileage left in the original. I turn it top to tail every time I change the bedding to ensure even wear and found that the corner straps hold the topper to the mattress with minimal movement. I have never found the need to get my tape measure out to check the thickness as, each has been consistently both soft, supportive and comfortable over time. There is no extra heat generated. This, after all, is a mattress topper, not a mattress and is designed to provide a secondary function in enhancing the original mattress, not as a sticking plaster over an existing problem. Quality aside, it is currently great value for money, as I paid £43.99 three years ago and only £29.99 this time round. Overall, if bought for the right reasons, I have no hesitation in recommending this mattress topper, which has helped me have a good night's sleep both in comfort and in a bit of luxury.

Very comfortable just replacing one I already had. Came quickly and well packaged

Went for a well known brand for reliability and quality. Wasn't disappointed - the topper is very soft and cosy! It isn't as thick as I thought it would be - and doesn't have any rigidity to hold its shape! It is very roomy on a standard double mattress so when you're sleeping on it, it does move around and crinkle up on the mattress in places! My 9 year old son would tell you it's sooooo soft and lovely so he would highly recommend 🤣👍

Comfy but not as firm as they look in the photos, more like a well padded mattress protector. They do fit well though and make the bed feel more luxurious.

Incredibly comfortable. It feels like I’m sleeping on a high-quality expensive mattress now. For the price it is absolutely worth it. Thickness and size were accurate to the description.

I’ve recently purchased a new bed and as I’ve got a bad back I needed a firm mattress. My old bed was nearly 15 years old, so going from that to a new one was quite a shock, it felt like sleeping on slightly padded floor! It has helped my back but in the process aggravated my knee so I needed something to add a little softness. I trawled through pages of products but the reviews are very mixed so I decided to go with a well known brand. The mattress pad adds just enough softness to my new mattress to give me more comfort, it’s a definite improvement without being too expensive. The elasticated straps hold it in place firmly and I’m still able to put a normal depth fitted sheet on. Like some previous reviews have mentioned, this won’t add any support to an old, sagging mattress but it will make a firm mattress a lot more comfortable. Hope you found my review helpful

Acheté en priorité pour amortir le creux formé au milieu sur un matelas de clic clac. Et il rempli très bien sa fonction. Il apporte un bon moelleux au matelas sans le rendre mou (mais le matelas du clic clac est de très bonne qualité). La hauteur est correcte. Si vous chercher un surmatelas douillet, il est fait pour vous, si vous souhaitez du maintien, ce n'est pas le bon.

La dimension 137 x 190 cm est compatible mais limite pour un lit 140 x 200 cm. J'ajoute un drap-housse enveloppant complètement le matelas pour faire passer la différence de bordure. C'est comme dormir sur une couette au niveau de la sensation. Donc ça apporte du moelleux. Mon compagnon sent fort la différence parce qu'il aime un matelas plus ferme mais ça ne rajoute pas le moelleux que j'ai déjà peu sentir avec d'autres surmatelas et ne permet pas suffisamment d'alléger les points de pression. Pour un premier essais, cela reste un bon rapport qualité-prix. Je pense que pour la prochaine fois, je tenterai un surmatelas en mousse.

Ce surmatelas est très bien rapport qualité/prix je le recommande . Enfin des nuit comme à l’hotêl ;-)
