Not as complicated as it seems
When i first opened it and saw all the stickers and instructions, i thought "oh heck"...but it really isn't complicated at all.As my ipad was new, i didn't use the alcohol wipe thingy. Just gave it a wipe with the cloth. I got a bit annoyed trying the place the protector on to the screen, because it kept sliding about. That bit is tricky, i ended up getting off the sofa and doing it on a table. Still took a bit of delicate manoevering, but eventually i went for it and stuck the stickers down fast! When i folded it back, a few specs of dust had mysteriously appeared out of nowhere on to the screen. Always seems to happen doing stuff like this. Used one of the stickers to dab up the dust, unpealed the back. It didn't look straight, but i just went for it and pressed the protector on to the screen. To my surprise, it was bang straight. I didn't actually press the protector down, because it seemed to be attaching itself slowly from the center outwards. So i just let it get on with it. There was a worrying moment when 3 large bubbles were left on one side, but about 2 minutes of squeezing with the cloth they were gone. It looks perfect on, doesn't even look like a protector. You can't tell it's not the real ipad screen, it fits perfect. These things work much better than the flimsy ones that look like crap. Not sure how strong they are, i have a similar one on my ipod touch and it is chipped quite badly at one end, but then i did accidentally stand on it when it fell out of my pocket! Better to chip the protector, than the actual screen.

Smooth in Every Sense of the Word
I wanted a glass screen protector for my expensive iPad Mini as I love the feel of glass, but wanted an extra layer of protection - if there is an impact, only the screen protector is likely to smash, saving you the cost of replacing your iPad screen! I used the alcohol wipe provided, as well as the lint cloth. However, when I placed the screen on the device I noticed that I had a few smears underneath, presumably from the alcohol wipe that smeared. I removed the screen protector and tried to fix this, but unfortunately I just ended up getting plenty of lint on the screen protector that wouldn't come off, even with the lint remover sticky tape.I believed in the product, so I ordered another one - what's another £10-15 compared to the price of a new iPad screen? I made sure that there were no smears this time and placed the screen protector on the device. It went on with no problems, the air bubbles were easy to remove, and the screen looks and feels great! I'm happy to pay for the extra screen protector as it was my own fault the first one failed, and I personally feel that if I'm spending money on an expensive device, it's worth protecting.

Does the job. Easy to install. Looks good so far.
Installed this on an iPad Mini 2 that has a small crack across the corner of the existing screen. Hoping this will prevent further damage and provide a smooth surface as you could feel the crack.Installation was quite straightforward and the end result looks good. The protector seems to introduce some haze when viewing in bright light (outside in the sun) but is fine otherwise. Much silkier to the touch compared to original but still responds accurately to finger touches. No problems with bubbles under glass so happy so far.Only minor problem that the kit comes with a stick-on cover for the button as otherwise this is now recessed below the raised glass and unfortunately I didn't centre this perfectly so it looks slightly off (fraction of a millimetre). Obviously this wouldn't work with the latest model as it would block the fingerprint sensor so I imagine that you'll have to live with a recessed button on the newer iPads.Whether this would have saved my screen from the initial damage is unknown. I suspect the iPad got flexed in my bag so unlikely that it would have helped.

Cannot get rid of tiny bubbles/patches
Received item today via Amazon prime. The item is boxed really well for a screen protector and instructions are clear. As per one of the original review on Amazon for this item, I did the application in a slighty steamy bathroom. I followed inscturctions to the "T" however I can see the right in the middle of the screen there are around 15-20 very very tiny bubble like patches which don't seem to disappear or move no matter what I try. They don't look exactly like bubbles as bubbles move around when you apply pressure. These seems more like thse tiny patches of glass did not have glue and did not stuck or maybe the glue was not even. hard to explain. So all in all, impressed with the delivery , packing and instruction but not happy at all with the final result. This is either going back or will bin it as can't be bothered to return for a small amount.Edit :firm contacted me and sent me a replacement. Great CS. Have added 2 stars.

Took a replacement but all good now
Amended review: Anker customer service has been great, they got in touch without being prompted and offered either a replacement or refund. I took the replacement option and thankfully this one has stuck down fully with no bubbles. The previous one didn't stick properly at the edge and caused a bubble which would just not press out.I am marking down 1 star because this one is fractionally out on the holes for the home button and front camera. This isn't a user alignment issue because it is slightly too high on the home button and yet also slightly too low on the camera. However all things considered I will leave this one on and I feel it is a great addition to the iPad. It feels just as nice as the bare iPad glass to use; having lost no sensitivity, no additional glare and it definitely is more resistant to finger prints.
